Below is a list of resources which have been identified as useful for those of us who like to prettify things!

Patterns, Colours, Gradients, etc

• uigradients - a site which gives gradient colours.
• color hex - gives the codes for colours.
• Pattern Cooler - create custom seamless patterns.
• Colour-pickingp - allows you to create groups of complimentary / contrasting colours.

Images

• Pixabay - a site which provides royalty free images

Text

• Picture to People - text generator
• Cooltext - A text image generator, with a wide variety of styles and options!
• Google Fonts - The site supports all of these - but it's case and space sensitive! See the guide to BB Code .

Map Making

• Inkarnate - Fantasy Map Making - free and paid version

Picture Editing

• Gimp - a free downloadable image editor
• Fotosketcher - a free downloadable image editor.

Extensions

• A Chrome Extension: Eyedropper tool that plucks colors off your computer screen and converts them to hex value: link

Image Generator

• An app that makes copyright free images drawn by an AI. Very pretty but kind of abstract: wombo

World map generator: Azgaar's fantasy map generator
This generates maps with roads, rivers, dungeons, cities... Everything with their own culture, religion, races, etc... Also, many options are customizable.

City Generator: Watabou's city generator
Azgaar's map generator uses this to generate cities. Not as customizable, but it gives very good maps.
