Location: Patrick's Apartment

It had be early in the trial because Patrick didn't wish to wake up just yet, he slept with his face buried in hair while his arm rested over a form. A womanly form. He'd almost forgotten just how much fun he had last night, last nights drunken party at the Boar ended up with him bringing a friend home. 'Friend.' He really didn't know the woman but she had pretty green eyes and dark, dark hair, also looked pretty damn good without any clothes on too; now that his recollection fully came back. The woman rolled onto her side with her back to him and stretched a little, a sigh muffled into the blanket she used to cover her form. Patrick smiled as he felt energized enough to move, his lazy intentions relinquished as much more devious ones seemed to stir. He shifted on his mattress to scoot a little closer to her, a warm love bite placed on her shoulder as the woman started to giggle and gasp in delight.

What was her name? Mariah? Tara? Shit he couldn't remember. He'd just have to guess in a little bit, when he wasn't so distracted. Patrick changed tactics as he moved his lips from her shoulder to her lips next, his form almost positioned atop of her before... the door. With a twist of the knob the door flung ajar and in entered the one guy who loved to rain on his parade, the selfless older brother that always had the greatest sense of timing in these sort of affairs. "Patrick! Get your ass up boy!" The woman jumped and held another portion of the sheets close for dear life, surprise in her expression as she gazed intently between the two. Patrick rolled his eyes and fell back onto his part of the bed, his fingers used to brush his eyelids as he exhaled a quiet sigh.

"Mornin' brother." He looked back over to the woman next to him with a blank but warm expression. "Karla would you mind?"

Her eyebrows stooped low as her jaw looked to have dropped suddenly, as though he'd offended her by saying her name. Karla was her name right? "It's Sarah." She corrected before an eye roll of her own followed, sure enough her naked form rose and pulled the sheet off Patrick. He felt the cool air from the outside blanket his skin then, as goosebumps covered his skin from the chilly contact.

"Right, Sarah! Sorry 'bout that." He raised a hand in a gesture like he intended to say that, only to drop it while he watched her get dress. Both he and Dom watched her as she reached for her clothes and made for the bathroom, which granted the brothers a sense of half privacy if anything. "What's on the agenda today?" Pat asked as he rose to a sit on the mattress, his eyes honed on Dom as the knight took a seat at the table.

"Oh ya know, the usual mess I have t' up. Yours included." He pointed to Pat when he added that last part, his knee bounced erratically as Patrick shrugged.

"Wasn't me. I just got home," He leaned a little to look out the window somewhat, "last night in fact. Haven't been out since." Finally the bathroom door opened and Sarah stepped out all dressed with the sheet balled up, a toss made to Patrick as she headed for the door with one last look at Dominek. "Thanks Rita." He teased with a laugh as she only scoffed at him then, the sound of her footsteps eventually faded as she left the premises.

"What a dick." Dominek joked aloud with a wry smile.

"Oh ya know; picked up on a few things. Learnin' from the best." He fired back with a short laugh as Dom sat there, for a moment he remained silent as he appeared to think. Nothing. Only a laugh came from Patrick and the older brother chucked the washrag that was on the table, the knight quick to get on his feet and hop on Patrick to playfully assault the younger sibling.

The two were engaged in rough horseplay as Dom had overtaken Patrick with little effort, the older brother positioned with his body on Pat's torso while his hands pinned Pat's arms to the bed. "Take it back! I'll show you otherwise if you don't!" He recommended with a mischievous grin while Pat struggled, his upper body the only thing he could move since he'd been pinned down.

"You wouldn't!" Patrick challenged him and much to his surprise Dominek did, a snort rattled in the knights throat as he called forth a slimy spit. "Shit! No! Dom no!" His eyes widened as he pleaded for his brother not to, his head turned left and right over and over to find no escape. A large amount of saliva slowly drizzled low from Dom's lips, merely inches from Patrick's face as he cried out in laughter and disgust. "Alright alright! I'm the dick!" He finally rebounded as it drew closer, the droplet of spit however already fell too far, and then landed on Patrick's right cheek. Dominek got a wicked laugh out of that as Patrick made very loud ewes; the older brother used a hand to wipe, or rather smother, it across the cheek with a couple of pats to the face to follow.

When it seemed like Patrick was finally free he leaned up and grabbed the sheet next to him, one of the corners used to wipe his face clean as he chuckled once more. "Dick." He muttered while Dominek had his back turned to him, aware he'd said it loud enough for the knight to hear. Dom looked over his shoulder to Pat with another grin, eyes dared him for another round at his own mercy. Patrick scooted away or at least tried too but the brother was too close, his arms quickly shot out and folded around the younger brother. Pat was in an arm lock now and this time he struggled hard, hands tried to pry the arm open just enough to slip through.

"Someone's a little rebellious today!" Dominek issued as he balled his other hand into a fist and drove it into Patrick's hair, the motion his knuckles did made Pat's scalp hurt like fire as he groaned from the physical torture. "Get dressed ya little shyte! We're goin' out today!" Upon his release Patrick threw the sheet up at Dom, hopeful that he could get away before the older brother countered him. With one quick move Pat shifted towards the edge of the mattress and reached for his pants of all things, a quick run to the bathroom commenced as he ran from Dom with a laugh. He slammed the door shut and pressed his body against it for good measure, the force of his brother's own tackle nearly knocked him away as the door rattled with a loud bang. He laughed for a good moment and he could hear Dom laugh on the other side of the door, the rough housing now at an end as Patrick found himself a safe haven from the knight's brotherly love.

Patrick slipped a foot through each leg of his pants and tugged them up to his waist, a hand used to adjust his manhood before he finally felt satisfied with the comfort. "So what's today's agenda brother?" He inquired finally as he fastened the clasp and tightened the belt, when he opened the door to exit the room, Dominek had taken his seat back at the table once more.

"Usual routine patrol for me, though I've gotta explain to another noblewoman's father why his place is trashed." He pointed out as Patrick walked back over to his bed, a hand brought down to grab last nights shirt with a chuckle.

"Wasn't me!"

"No! You just happened t' be there servin' drinks out of the goodness of your heart." The knight mused with a crooked smile.

Patrick stopped what he was doing for a moment and looked in the air, eyes narrowed in thought with what Dom just said. "Sounds like me come t' think of it." He humored with a sharp grin, Dominek could only laugh while Pat slipped his head and arms through the shirt.

"So I guess that means you're goin' back up there then." He guessed while Patrick then moved to sit at the edge of the mattress.

"What? The Glass Quarter? Why? Somethin' going on I don't know about?" He looked up to his brother when he slipped on one of the boots, the laces tied with ease in just several trills.

"Nothing big, just another party thrown at one of the higher ups. Daveth tells me you're tryin' to work your way in their day and night."

"Somebody's gotta try and score us a place up there eventually."

"Pat," Dominek leaned forward with a more serious face put on, "We're fine here you know. Mum's not gonna like it if she knew you were workin' day and night just t' move up into the Glass Quarter."

Patrick sighed when the other boot slid on and his foot tapped on the floor, a troubled look shot before him as he knew this was a topic long coming. "Mum's gone Dom, I'm just tryin' t' live how she'd want me to."

"What, always partyin' and livin' with few responsibilities?"

"Free brother!" He clarified as he finished with tying the other boot. "For me its a matter of livin' happily how I see fit. You can enjoy bein' the good boy all you want, but I'd much rather just do whatever I feel inclined t' do when the mood strikes me." Dominek rose to his feet as he did too, the two brothers then came face to face.

"Just promise me ya won't do anythin' stupid." Dominek asked of him with a hand gripped on Pat's shoulder.

"Hey! This is me we're talkin' bout big bro! I live for the stupid shyte." He encouraged with a couple soft pats on Dom's cheek, the older brother chuckled silently with a shake to his head then. The two headed on their way out to handle their usual routines, that being the usual fun Patrick liked to engage while Dominek kept an eye on him when no longer on duty.

Comment: That spitball was a serious laugh out loud moment! Loved the banter, felt sorry for Sarah too. Patrick seems a little different in this thread, not so much himself, but then I recalled that Dom’s death changed Patrick so we are seeing his personality before that big event rocked his world. Felt a little unfinished, the last post was a bit so-so. However, the spitball still… haven’t laughed like that at a review before, so kudos!
