er lips felt warm against his, soft. She didn't stir. There came no slap, no pushing no forceful removal of his lips on hers. She didn't mind? He didn't dare to sneak a peek at her in mid kiss. The trill stretched out forever and she didn't respond to him. Not in a bad way but not in a good way either. Was she so utterly shocked by his move that she didn't know what to do? Did she feel the same but didn't know how to respond? Sin let the worries be drowned out by the bliss that surged up from his asterism. Her hand was suddenly on his chest and Sin prepared to be pushed back. But it only touched him lightly as it moved up over his scarred body. While they were hidden at all times when he had so much as a shirt on, he wasn't able to hide them from her as she moved her hand up across his chest and to his face. The tenderness of her touch, the careful nature with which she moved and touched him had Sin wondering if he really was lying next to Saeri. He had indeed seen her face a moment ago but it might have been a combination of his illness, fever dreams and wishful thinking. He didn't dare to open his eyes and break the spell. But he had to know. Sin opened his eyes carefully and came face to face with a periwinkle blue colored ear and a large white orb.
For a moment, Sin thought about pulling back from the kiss but it was as if Saeri could read his thoughts. Her hand moved from his cheek to the back of his head and purposefully held him as she pressed her lips more on his. Sin tensed in surprise but quickly drowned in the sensation. From what he had seen, it was Saeri but even if it wasn't he liked whatever was happening too much. For a moment, there was no worry related to Yludih and Idalos races and relationship, no worry about what she might think or say or how she'd react. Encouraged by Saeri's assertiveness, Sin leaned into the kiss, letting his hand slide under the fur coverings and towards her back, pulling her closer to him.
The kiss lasted for forever and not long enough. It broke as Saeri pulled back from him. He resisted, following her for a moment before stopping. His hand on her back loosened a little and he let her shift to get comfortable. He leaned back a little so he could look at her. He blinked once and then twice, trying to get rid of whatever residual effect was causing him to see her cry in this scenario but the tears remained. Sin slowly brought his hand up from her back, lightly brushing along her back to her shoulder blade and then over her shoulder to the tears. With a light caress he wiped them away and let his hand freely wander through her loose hair, stroking it lightly as she spoke to him.
He wanted to reply with something profound and funny at the same time, something that would make her smile but convey his thanks and feelings for her at the same time. So he said what any smart person in his situation would say. Nothing. He simply stared at her, transfixed on the smile on her face, the softness of her gaze on him and the glint in her eyes. He returned her smile and nodded, never taking his eyes off of her. He didn't want or couldn't take them off of her. For several trills, the silence filled the space between them, his fingers tangled with her darker blue hair. His asterism seemed to be working fine again as he could feel warmth everywhere in his body, certain areas more so than others.
And still he wasn't satisfied, it wasn't enough. She was too far away, too distant. In breaking the kiss, Sin felt a cold on his skin where she had been pressed against him that was worse than anything he'd felt before. He licked his lips, trying to taste her lips once again. He couldn't resist, he didn't want to feel the cold or the distance between them. He wanted Saeri. Sin propped himself up on his left arm, looming over Saeri for a moment before he leaned in and kissed her again, like she had kissed him, with passion and desire. He fought the stack of blankets and furs on top of them as he shifted more into a dominant position towards her. Common ground had turned to attraction, which in turn had changed to desire. Leaving it pent up like it had had turned it into lust and now, finally, lust turned to connection.
Since his first time, Sin had always experienced a missing when he slept with someone. There had always been this disappointment. In what usually felt like the most blissful moment of his life, Sin felt a tinge of disappointment, neither strong or long enough to influence the act but always present. He had later learned that Yludih instinctively drew towards their partner, trying to connect with them on a deeper level than their partner's flesh body allowed. As Sin closed all distances between him and Saeri, he expected the disappointment to return, to ruin this perfect moment for him. Aelig wouldn't have been able to do it better in any way. The longer it eluded him, the more he worried. But other feelings quickly took over and the moment never came as he let himself sink deeper and deeper into Saeri.
