[Woodlands] A walk in the woods

Rey watched as Fridgar's attack was brushed aside like nothing, colliding on a surface she hadn't seen until now. What the hell was this woman? It didn't matter, just because Fridgar had been stopped didn't mean Rey would be. One of two things would happen, in Rey's eyes - she'd land the blow or be a distraction. She knew that the risk of death was there, but it didn't matter. She was ready for that if it happened, ready to give herself for someone else to live - if that someone was Fridgar. Besides, she had to make Lisirra proud. She had no choice.
The swarm of insects stopped Rey in her tracks, making her halt. As she was about to question, the voice answered everything - Lisirra. Rey grinned, before nodding. "Yes mother, as you wish" she said, before turning to Fridgar and running. She grabbed his arm and tugged, looking him dead in the eyes. Just the look alone was enough, they needed to go. As she did, she spotted her dagger. Quickly, she grabbed it, before turning away. With or without him, she ran. She knew that her mother could do this, and if the evil woman decided to fight Lisirra she would soon learn the same.

After two bits of running, she turned towards where they had run. Despite being saved by Lisirra, her anger was still rising. That woman had disrespected her mother, and the brute that came before had dared to attack her and her Fridgar. She clutched her dagger close, the cold starting to impact her. She wasn't far from home now, so the cold wouldn't stay a problem, but it was a bitter reminder of what had happened.
"I'm sorry, mother, I let you down" Rey whispered to herself, eyes closed in prayer. She then looked to see if Fridgar had come with her. If he did, she would hug in to him, before taking his hand and starting to walk back to their cabin.
"I think that's enough for one day. That was one hell of a walk."

His attack failed, somehow. Colliding with unbreakable glass? What kind of magic was this bitch using? As quick as anything, the warrior woman swung her knife at Rey'na - his heart stopped and time seemed to slow down. The hooded figure had started to change into... something. A fellow becomer? It didn't matter, not now. Not with Rey'na's life on the line. There was nothing he could do, he wasn't fast enough. Divine intervention took hold in the form of a bunch of talking bees and intercepted the woman's attack. What the fuck was even going on?

Fridgar had taken a walk in the woods, been stalked, defended his crush, been threatened by some sort of god, been saved by a powerful alien mage and now been saved by a bunch of bees. What the fuck. Perhaps the Lothar would do well to refrain from leaving the house in the future. The alien mage seemed just about as done with this whole kerfuffle and teleported away. Rey too, she was done with this shit. Though she didn't teleport, she just ran off without him.

Fridgar glared at the woman for a trill, snarling softly while sizing up his opponent. Nah, if everyone was pissing off - he would too, not without a cheap shot of course. Fridgar would bitch-slap the general area of the female’s head, his thick pelt and hide protecting him from the bees. Then, without waiting to see the anger he'd inflicted - he ran on all fours, bounding through the snowy landscape and making his way home. He would take a longer route to Rey'na, unless he should smell the warrior closing in on her, he kept a nose out for her scent. The Lothar sighed, what a bunch of bullshit.

He'd been robbed of the blood he deserved, neither of his foes had perished where both deserved to die - How dare they attack Rey'na? Either way, he had all their scents, the mage, the warrior, the savage - at least two of three of them would die to his paw. His eyes widened with realisation, the bees that had attacked the warrior... Were they... The bees that he'd stolen the honeycomb from? By the immortals, they were most unhappy about that - going as far as to chase him through Zi'da and all! The beast laughed as he pawed his way back home.
