Tribal Settlement (Mid)
Children born from the union of the Mur and Thi (and it is forbidden for them to be with anyone except each other) are treated like every other child and given no special treatment. There is no attachment to children in this tribe, they are raised communally and most do not know who of the tribe is their mother or father. Children refer to all elders as "mother (Name)" or "father (Name)".
The Mur'thi believe in the Spirits and the Energies. The Spirits impart wisdom and speak to the Mur and Thi of what is past the Great Beyond (aka: Death), whereas the Energies are what give life and vitality to the Mur'thi tribe. There are no marriages or pairings other than the Mur and Thi, people live together communally and have sex with who they feel like having sex with at the time, in worship of the Energies. Males are more dominant and considered to be higher status than females, except for the Thi, and while they keep many female slaves, it would be an abomination and an affront to the Spirits to enslave a male.
The tribal settlement is an enormous tree growing in a deep chasm. It is a yellow dragonwood tree and has the same signature shape, but it is huge and the whole tribe live in or around this Tree. It is believed to be the Spirit of the first Mur'Thi and gives the tribes their power.
