To his great surprise it would seem that she not only heard him out well enough, but had something pretty incredible to share with him also. While he certainly wasn't here to see the events of this season unfold like her, he could certainly tell that it put a great amount of weight on her conscious. What he heard was the story of how so many had to deal with a situation like his, where others who were taken away from their family had little choice. That they had to deal with the grievances and cope to move on, and while deep down his heart did feel something in that regard... It held little sway to dissuade him from what he wanted.
Granted the value of the point was to reassure him, that there were plenty of other cases where fairness seemed in short stock. Somehow however that didn't keep him from feeling torn deep down, upset over the fact that there seemed be literally nothing. Not a damn thing he could do. Out of being forced to live with a curse he couldn't fully control, only one thing in his life felt worse than that particular aspect of it... and that was this. Dominek could already see the pained trouble in his little brother's eyes and quite quickly, he rose from his chair to walk around close to Patrick. "It's been two arcs and three seasons since then, even if I had a body it wouldn't be in the best condition to return to..." He answered for the Rharnian as Pat's face grew somber quickly.
To hear those questions, to be asked who in the world he'd trade for Dom? Somehow that struct an even deeper blow with Patrick. Sure there existed other options such as letting his brother linger, but that would only cost everything left of his older brother. What more could they possibly do to prolong an existence? His eyes were glossy once more as his face reddened, frustration clearly sunken in over the fact he was helpless. Just so completely helpless in being able to do something. "Pat, look it's-" The older brother found his attempt to calm his brother interrupted, as the Rharnian practically jumped from his seat with a hand aggressively dipped into his pocket.
"You know what, I'm not hungry anymore." He muttered lowly as he threw the gold nel he would've been charged for down, the coins hit the wooden surface hard as one or two bounced and rolled astray. However Patrick didn't seem to care about that, the only thing he cared about was leaving at the moment. Thus after acting upon the impulse he turned to try and leave, only to find his brother still remained as an obstacle.
"Pat! Pat! Calm down!"
"Let me go!" He barked at his older brother as he tried to push past the man, for someone who was dead he still proved strong enough to stand against Pat. "Dom. Let it go."
"Pat listen, there's gotta-"
"No!" He interrupted once more on the verge of crying, as his chest heaved heavily with breathes that almost turned into sobs. "I can't be asked to do this! Not anymore! I can't..." He couldn't let him go... Even now as he tried to move past his brother, his hands clutched the opaque form of his arm dearly. "I can't..." The anger in his tone had just as quickly dissipated, as nothing but grief and despair seemed to wash over his form. What had been a stance to keep his brother from acting out quickly turned into a position to keep the broken man standing, as Pat practically would've fallen to his knees had his brother not been there.
"Hey... Come on Pat..." Dominek tried his best but it seemed as though his attempts at comfort would do little. Thus he looked to Faith as the Rharnian yet again continued sobbing within his shoulder. "Isn't there something... anything to make it easier? If not for me then for him?" Evidently the older brother would be willing to do anything, when it came to helping out his little brother as the Rharnian would for him.

Off Topic
Tbh I did not see the post panning out this way, but that's just the "Patrick" aspect I guess. As awkward of a position this puts Dom and Faith, I hope you still enjoyed reading it all the same.
