Appearance
There can be no doubt about Charlie's profession when you look at her. While not particularly tall, she is evidently strong. Any curves she has on her body are from muscles and not fat. That being said, her face is dainty and feminine, always open and laughing. There is somewhat of an incongruence between her body and her soul; her body is scarred from battle and wounds, but Charlie never seems to notice them. While she dresses elegantly and richly, her choice of colours and clothing is often simple, and though she will dress up for noble events, she is much more comfortable in trousers and a blouse that allow her to move freely. Charlie's eyes are a warm brown, always crinkled from laughter and inviting, and she keeps her chestnut hair cropped close to her shoulders, finding it easier to keep out of the way when training.

Personality
For one who has lost her brother in the same field that she works in, Charlie is remarkably good humoured. Always willing to laugh, to tell a joke, to smile, there is an energy around her that seems to light up a room. Charlie is straight forward and can be sarcastic, but there is rarely any malice in her jokes. Though she is adept at navigating the noble world, Charlie prefers to be blunt and honest, rather than play noble games - but when it is required of her, she is able to slip into the demure persona of a Warrick lady. It just isn't who she really is. A fan of the outdoors, Charlie prefers to spend her time walking or attending to Alana, and one can often find her lying in the grass looking at the sky, dreaming of the day she will be soaring among the clouds. For all of her wistfulness and easygoing nature, Charlie is undoubtedly determined to be the best Skyrider she can be, to bring honour to her family, and above all, to make herself proud.
History

Even when the second daughter, Violet, came when Charlie was three, her happiness did not dim. She was fascinated with little Violet, spending breaks staring in wonder at her tiny little hands, making faces at her sister to make her laugh. She was happiest when she could make others laugh. For trials they worked side by side, Ethan only eight arcs older than Charlie, until by the age of sixteen Charlie was matched with Ethan in skill. Still, they convinced Victor that the lessons need to remain - that even though there was little else to teach Charlie, the continued daily lessons would be an asset. And Victor let them continue, until one of the maids found out what was really going on in those 'lessons'.
Ethan was banished from the house, and Charlie was despondent, but committed herself to her archery nonetheless. And when the opportunity came to join the Skyriders as an airman, she seized it. It was a way out of her obligation to marriage, at least for the moment. She could, she told her family, marry when she was secured in her position. And they agreed, for it meant no more Ethan. Her old tutor attempted to write to her, but Charlie never responded. She had never really loved him, she reasoned, for if it were love, why would she hide it?
