- Rahiko's Wood - The name for the large evergreen forest to the south of Faerain that leads to the base of the Burning Mountains

Like the rest of Burhan, Senlin is heavily forested and while there are a number of deciduous trees in the barony, it is predominantly populated with evergreen trees, particularly in Rahiko's Wood south of Faerain. Much of the terrain of the region is rough and uneven, with some areas particularly difficult to traverse, especially in the south. As a result, travelling by coach is usually a very uncomfortable journey indeed.There are some small areas of farming space where suitable ground was found and cleared but they are few and far between. Although the barony aims for self-sufficiency, it struggles to grow enough crops to maintain its population. The good growing land is largely devoted to wheat, as bread is an important staple for the labourers in Senlin. Potatoes are grown in many small plots throughout the barony as they are a hardy crop that can grow in ground that would be unsuitable for other plants. Onions and carrots are also grown in small patches, usually considered to be little more than community gardens.
In terms of animals, the people in Senlin do not keep cattle as they don't have the pastures to feed them. Instead, the barony is largely dependant on the goats and hogs that it keeps and the animals it can hunt such as deer, rabbits and game. The barony takes great pride in its hunting dogs and cruelty towards such important animals is considered a serious offence in the region and carries a serious social penalty for the perpetrator. The region has also specially bred a cat known as the Vermin Fiend. These cats are used to keep vermin out of the granary stores and they can often be found with Burhan sailors as well, serving a similar function by keeping vermin levels down on ships.
House Burhan keeps a number of horses that are considered pretty and frivolous but for the most part, Senlin is home to draught horses. They pull carts throughout the region, drag timber, plough fields and carry heavy loads. They are first and foremost work horses and are very important to the barony's labours.
