Other Information:Anida as well as being the owner of the Four in Hand is also the baby sister of the Pirate Lord known as The Boar. Hassling her is strongly discouraged, because as different as they are, its a safe bet that the Boar will look avenge any slight imagined or real on his baby sister.

Anida is vain and proud, and very much enjoys being the centre of attention. Insults to her are a quick and easy way to get blacklisted while compliments earn her favour.She's canny and sly in her own way, but not actually particularly smart. She own the Four in Hand only because her brother bought it for her. She has a tumultuous relationship with the Gambler, who she finds attractive, but his tendency to have multiple women with him at all times vexes her.

The Scalvoris Sapphire Inn Original Development Piece

The Location --- The Scalvoris Sapphire Inn is located along the more seedy district of the city, while also being relatively along the edges of decent society. Though despite this, the more roguish elements are more common than that of an aristocrat or some one considered a High Roller in life. The building itself is nestled on the street corner, standing proudly with two sets of stairs leading up and into the Inn itself. Standing at three stories high, with a basement hidden away as the fourth, the Inn stands rather prominently at its fine corner. A sign with a picture of a Sapphire can be seen hanging as a means of identifying the Inn's presence.

The Interior --- The first thing to greet all newcomers is the scent of lavender, melded in with the scent of roasting meat. The air is filled with an assortment of different smells beyond the initial step. Musical instruments, vocals, the sound of merriment are all that one would find within the current area. The Inn looked more like a smaller scale tavern than an actual Inn, with a second room to the right, leading further inside. The Barkeep can be seen to the far rear of the room, with a door way leading into the kitchen. The room to the right, however, leads to where the Innkeeper awaits them.

Lobby room --- The lobby room is far smaller than the hall, where the patrons gather. A desk greets newcomers on their left, the owner of the establishment primarily seen behind said desk ready to accomodate patrons looking for respite. If Jerris is not here, an employee is typically seen in his stead. Down the hallway to the left, a door can be seen, with a flight of stairs around the corner leading down into the basement. A guard is always standing present to disbar any and all patrons from going further. However, it has been said that the Twenty Pirate Lords are allowed down below, as well a mysterious figure. Just to the right of the desk, a flight of stairs leading up to the Inn rooms can be seen.

Jerris Reyes was born a native of Scalvoris, running the odd jobs with the Pirate Lord known as The Pirate King before eventually, Jerris wished for something to do with his desires to settle down. His request was eventually granted, with a small loan given so that Jerris could find whatever pursuit that would make him happy. Jerris decided to open up a tavern in Scalvoris proper, naming it after encounter with his then-girlfriend, whose eyes of blue inspired the name of tavern currently. And thus the Scalvoris Sapphire was born, with Jerris running the show as the owner and Innkeeper.

Jerris always did want to settle down and eventually, he did just that. After opening up the Scalvoris Sapphire Inn with his wife, they had a child. Unfortunately, said child wanted to embrace the old life Jerris left behind. No matter how much Jerris bribed, begged, and intimidated her out of the lifestyle, she fell back into it. Eventually, Jerris reluctantly aided her along with it. Soon, Ceressa started putting her developing talents to good use. With her undercover title of Sapphire Seahorse, Ceressa acts as an Informant for the latest info on Scalvoris politics. Occasionally, Ceressa requires a task or two that needs taken care of. However, Ceressa does have a nasty habit of requiring pranks done instead of tasks.

The wife of Jerris and the mother of Ceressa. Sieri met Jerris on one night, a wedding was thrown for Sieri's sister. Jerris had been one of the attending visitors, smitten by her and the beauty of her eyes. They were engaged and it was not long that they would be married. It is thanks to her very eyes that the Scalvoris Sapphire Inn was created. During the early days of the Inn's start up, Sieri was the one usually attending as the Innkeeper while Jerris worked as the bartender. Their love for one another burned as bright as the sun. But one day, On the ARC of 701, Saun 10th, Sieri had vanished, leaving her husband and possessions behind. No one knows for certain where the woman has gone, or if she is even alive. Though Jerris hasn't remarried, he hasn't exactly gone searching for her either. Rumors speculate that they secretly divorced, or that she's ran off with a lover. Or worse yet, an Immortal has fancied her, going as far as to whisk her away to show Sieri just how much the Immortal loves her. Not much effort has been taken into finding her, save for the efforts of an Informant by the name of Sapphie Seahorse.

Inn Rooms
  • Pirate Lord Suite One and Only --- Despite the name, it isn't officially always being rented out by a Pirate Lord of Scalvoris. The luxurious room has been renovated, time and time again, to suit the taste of one of the Pirate Lord's currently making their stay. Provided it isn't currently being rented, Jerris is willing to let travelers to make their stay. However, the stay is never more than a single night. (350 Gold Nels)
  • Sapphire Suite Two Rooms --- The Sapphire Suite isn't as fancy nor coveted as much as the Pirate Lord Suite, it is still better than the average inn room. A King's size bed, soft blue velvet covers, ample space to put one's belonging, as well as a working toliet. There are only four Sapphire Suites within The Scalvoris Sapphire Inn. Thankfully, they're not always full, with only one room being rented out long-term. (100 Gold Nels per Night)
  • Navy Suite Four Rooms --- The Navy Suite is often considered, 'The ugly friend your mate flirts with while you go for the real looker'. But despite this idiom, the Navy Suite isn't all that bad. It is plain, yet not austere with little to no comfort or aesthetics. A Queen's size bed, wool covers, and just enough room for a single foot locker without bumping into anything. There's always a room open, despite it being second rate compared to the Sapphire Suite. (25 Gold Nels per Night)
  • Blue Suite Four Rooms --- The Blue Suite is for the average man that can't make any more than a couple of Silver Nels. It is plain, with barely any pleasing aesthetics for the fine eye. This room is mostly rented by the common man that prefers to take a night off away from the wife, or perhaps, to hide away with a secret affair. A Queen's size bed, a roughspun blanket is all that is offered. The room is relatively cramp, there isn't much room to put any foot lockers around nor any equipment. The Blue Suite is, compared to the others, an easily affordable space for those looking to save on their Nels. (15 Silvers per Night)
  • The Room One and Only --- There is no light in this room, not a single trace of any sign of care was taken to make this room pleasant. A single wooden bedframe, lacking any comfort, sits within the middle of the room. It is small, dark, with the occasional crack of light emerging from the door itself. The door is kept closed at nearly all times, to avoid detracting the attention of others. This room is kept open for those that either need a place to sleep off their drunken rampage, or just to keep a customer seeking to run out on the bill. The door cannot be opened once inside, as someone on the outside needs to open it. (Free, but why would you want to sleep here?)

  • Chef -- (75 GN wage) Extra Chefs are always welcomed.
  • Bouncer -- (25 GN wage) Capable muscle that's required to keep out the rabble, as well as protect the Inn's assets.
  • Bar Maid -- (25 GN wage) A pretty face and a capable pair of hands to make sure the patrons get their orders.

Found: Scalvoris, deep wilderness
Toxicity/Hazard: Maddening if exposed to their songs for too long in the season of Cylus/late Zi'da. The cold, fast winds make the deathliest shrieking noises that can haunt it's victims for dozens of trials after.
Appearance: Whistling Woods appear to made of multiple trees, all winding together to make one larger organism. By nature, they're covered in holes and gaps which form intricate tunnel systems in the wood and bark. Few animals and insects live close to these trees, meaning that the bark is usually in good condition, if not pristine.
Properties: Whistling Woods are normally quite solitary trees; other plants don't seem to be too fond of growing too close to them. Through different seasons of the arc, whistling woods make a variety of ambient noises, some pleasant, some less so.
Other Information: The noises are made when hot/cold winds blow through the holes and gaps in the tree, generating either a low, soft hum or a shrill, sharp shriek on either end of the spectrum of ambience. While they appear to be made of a dozen or so trees, they are actually just one big organism, all connected by the same roots underground. They merge to form a stronger support when the winds pick up. The sound they generate wards off animals and the intricate tangle of roots they have grant little chance for other plants to grow near them.

Usual Prognosis: Death
Contagious: Guaranteed, if spread through the bloodstream. Usually spread through monsters that are believed to have been created by Lissira to curse the people of Scalvoris.
Appearance: Starting with a small rash on your stomach and chest, it spreads to cover your entire body. After a few Trials, your stomach will start burning and eating will be painful. After a week or so, the disease will have dissolved your stomach, killing you in the space of a trial.
Symptoms: Burning pains, rash, upset stomach, inability to eat
Cure: A small flower found only on Immortal's Tongue, with a similar appearance to a daisy - but larger (In development)
Details: Typically called Burning Stomach, is feared throughout Scalvoris. Those who have it are often quarantined, in fear that they will spread the disease to others. Doctors across the land have tried to cure it, and only recently had success with a rare flower, meaning a large price must be spent to get it - if it isn't a scam to begin with.

Sea Stalkers Fauna Submission

Details: The Sea-Stalker, as it's known by the locals, is a territorial creature that is often found patrolling the depths of Scalvoris' ocean. Occasionally, they find themselves in the more shallow waters, where they can attack and even ruin unprepared boats. Even boats fully armed dread being caught unaware by one of these creatures, with fear of losing their entire boat and their lives.
Lifespan and Development: Sea-Stalkers grow from small eggs that latch onto the side of rocks under the water, left to grow by their parents who never see them again. When hatched, they are around the size of a medium-sized dog. They grow gradually until they reach three Arcs old, when they reach their full size - comparable to an elephant.
Diet: Predatory creatures, the Sea Stalkers lurk in caves or caverns under the water, then pounce creatures of any size. Their pincers can tear through flesh with ease, but suffer when faced with shells or chitin. People are easy prey, as their pure power is enough to break the wood of a ship. Their mouth is like that of a conveyor belt, food being sucked in and shredded in the throat before used for energy.
Temperament: The creatures, being raised without parents, are incredibly territorial. However, if a creature were to be raised by a parent figure they would develop as close a bond with them as they would with the place had they not met their parent replacement. This means that any fortunate enough to find an unborn Sea-Stalker will be able to train it and, with the right training, ride it.
Abilities: The Sea-Stalker, apart from it's pure brutality and size, has one ability. Tendrils on the back of it's neck allow for it to inhale oxygen. This ability is useful for two reasons. Firstly, it can breathe with it's head out of the water, meaning the potential of being used as a mount is there. Alternatively, it can store two breaks worth of oxygen. If a rider under the water places their mouth on a tendril then the Sea-Stalker can provide them with two breaks of oxygen, allowing them to travel under the water - so long as the pressure doesn't kill them.
Weaknesses: Despite the chitin back, the Sea-Stalker has a soft and delicate underbelly - where almost all of it's vital organs are. This means that a single hit to the underbelly can result in the death of a Sea-Stalker, and is almost impossible to recover from without the help of a master veterinarian.

Habitat: The Ganditlip makes its home in the icy waters of Ishallr, though have been known to stray into warmer waters when bored.
Lifespan and Development: Ganditlips usually lay between twelve and sixteen eggs per mating season, only half of the eggs will ever hatch however, and even fewer still make it to adulthood. They mature into adults at the age of one arc old and live for a further nineteen arcs on average. They will not leave the water for at least another two seasons after maturing, and even then, they can only traverse on wet sand and ice by dragging their bodies with their clawed front flippers, similar to sea lions.
Diet: Small fish and plant life found on ocean and reef floors.
Temperament: Friendly and playful, the Ganditlip (or Shimfin as known by the locals) will often spend its trials playing in the shallow waters with its brothers and sisters. When they're bored, they go exploring searching for things to do and will sometimes stray into more inhabitable waters near civilisation. While seemingly innocent and adorable, these creatures are loathed by sailors for their mischievous natures. They cut holes in fishing nets with their sword-like appendages, poke holes in the bottoms of ships and even capsize smaller vessels when in groups - all in good fun. Should the Ganditlip ever see the need to fight, as unlikely as it is, their sword-like noses are very strong and sharp being mostly made of bone and will use these to fight off larger predators, usually in groups. If someone were to tame a Ganditlip, it would need to be done with love, care and plenty of games - while it may seem a hassle to spend long hours of the day submerged, chasing a seemingly untiring aquatic reptile, the reward for having befriended a Ganditlip is a friend to the end and a very caring guardian.
Abilities: Very fast swimmers with a sword for a nose. A Ganditlip's call draws the attention of all surrounding Ganditlips within a 500-meter radius while submerged and a 100 meter radius while on land. Ganditlips stick together and will never ignore a call for help from one of their own.
Weaknesses: The Ganditlip's greatest weapon is also it's weakest point. Striking the Ganditlip's Sword will incur an immediate concussion if not killing it instantly. This is due to the nerves in the bone lining up directly to the Ganditlip's brain. Of course, striking to point of the sword will have no effect on the creature, but striking the flat of the blade from the side will be more than enough to stop a Ganditlip in its tracks.

Details: Harvested from the Whistling Woods body, the wood is quite brittle and delicate - requiring a lot of skill to cut even a small chunk of the wood. To work the wood takes an even more delicate hand - Only a master carpenter can work this wood of magical properties.
Price: 53 Gn/2 lbs
Other Information: Whistle wood is a very unique, purple-hued wood that's mostly used in pipe instruments such as flutes and panpipes. If worked by a master carpenter into a pipe instrument, the wood will develop magical properties. The magical properties seem to correlate with the musician’s intent, should the musician want to entertain or cheer a crowd, then the wood will resonate with their will and influence the emotions of everyone that hears the musician’s song to that of joy or entertainment, as intended. But, just as there are Kind musicians, there are those that would seek to obtain these instruments for evil, spreading terror, hate and despair with their ungodly, influential songs.

Details: Once decaying corpses, Lissira disturbed their peace and stopped their decaying process through fungus and disease. These creatures came to life and were then placed on Scalvoris, sent to spread disease to any who encounter them. They spread the Burning Stomach disease, scientifically known as Ignis Ventri. Anybody that dies of the disease is destined to suffer the same fate as the flesh-hungry Couriers.
Lifespan and Development: Due to being raised dead, their lifespan and development is at a stand still. If they died a child, they stay a child. Whatever they looked like when they died will remain, the only difference being the fungus growing around them. One notable feature, however, is a hand mark gripped around their throat. This is believed to be part of a curse that these creatures spread, Lissira's way of marking her creations - but nobody knows for sure.
Diet: Flesh, humanoid in particular. However, due to being undead, they don't need food to survive. They eat for the pure bloodlust, and as a way to spread their disease.
Temperament: Aggressive. The smell of a creature nearby will cause them to attack, be it a small animal or a humanoid or even something that out-powers them entirely. This is a rare occurrence, however, because of the rotting smell that surrounds them - making most creatures avoid being anywhere near them.
Abilities: Apart from spreading the disease, none.
Weaknesses: The illness that turned these creatures destroyed their stomach, meaning that under the layers of infection is a hole. If stabbed, the creature will return to being a normal corpse - with the exception of the fungus still being inside it.

Found: Scalvoris, Faldrass - Exclussively.
Toxicity/Hazard: None.
Appearance: A flower with purple petals and two white stamen that protrude from its center, the flower head stands on a foot long stalk that typically sports 4-6 leaves. There are typically 2-3 flowers that grow from the bulb. The base of the Jubiplunt is protected with larger leaves that make a dome shape over the soft earth and protect the bulb from adverse weather. At night, the Jubiplant's stamen glow in a bio-luminescent white.
Properties: The Jubiplunt emits a therapeutic aroma that is known to aid in the recovery of the mentally unwell. The aroma alone will not cure the patient, but will most certainly speed up the recovery of anyone that spends at least 3 breaks a trial in its scent.
Other Information: The Jubiplunt grows in a field on one of the islands of Scalvoris, this is in fact the only place it grows in Idalos. It is believed among the locals that the bulb was placed on the island by Moseke herself, while there is no evidence to support this, the flower does fall under her domain. On the island, Jubiplant grows rife, leaving the ground it grows on completely concealed by the purple petals, but will not grow anywhere but that island specifically. The locals have tried digging up some of the bulbs and planting them elsewhere, but they do not grow. The flower will stay alive and fresh for 5-7 trials before it withers, making it ideal to put in a vase then in the room of someone suffering with mental affliction while they sleep.
