Comments: I feel Doran's pain. Llyr isn't the best at for keeping correspondence. But then I suspect he prefers to visit people in dreams. Doran is dry and serious as always in this thread, yet for all that what he says is so often fascinating the way you write it. I almost forgot that Doran created Noth's gauntlet until I read it again here. I wonder if Doran really can create a copy of the gauntlet.
Doran's dismissal of Noth's notion of comprehension felt very in character for Doran. Even though he's in love, he's still the same sort of academically inclined grump. But that's what we like about him, isn't it?

Comments: You laid the foundation for this thread with a very solid and atmospheric opener, and the action of llyr was very well described throughout. That cloaking ability seems very useful. Besides that, surprising Doran in his kitchen was a nice trick. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation, even if Llyr was a bit evasive about recent events. Still, there's quite a lot to chew on here, between Llyr's confessing to examine Webb's artifacts and fishing for anything Doran might know about them, to their discussion about addictive substances, and ways they might combat the Thirst.
