10th of Saun, Arc 717
Va'saeii knew little about the man the Nearrik woman had told him to seek out. All he knew was that he was a successful fighter and was causing some issues for the mistresses of Augiery. In the short time the redhead had been in the city he had quickly fallen into place, content to stay near the bottom of the pile when it came to martial prowess but making good use of his eyes and ears. Some of the women had seemed to trust him at least enough for him to have been tasked with approaching this Argider chap.
So Va'seii had approached a couple of higher up men and found out his location. Off down somewhere in the pits moving supply crates was what he had been told and so the new slave had carefully and observantly made his way around checking all the spots you might find such workers. Of course when he finally did come across what he believed to be the right place he had to find the right slave.
He scanned over the piles of wooden boxes and instantly knew who the man would be. As much as he wished it were the small weak man in the corner struggling to lift even a medium size box he knew that it was going to be the huge one carrying two or even three crates at once. So with a deep inhale to settle his nerves he walked across to the giant.
"Excuse me, Argider?" He waited for the man to place down his crates and offered a hand to shake, curious if the terrifying mountain of a man knew anything else but how to lift crates and fight. "I am Va'saeii, I am new around here but I have heard plenty about your exploits." That was not really true at all, he only knew of the man from the Naerrik woman who had approached him. But still, flattery could get you far.
Besides, he did not exactly wish to challenge the beast, there was not a doubt in his mind that he would lose to the man. Really all he had to do was to find a way to make the women happy and keep the fighter from ripping his head off. How hard could it possibly be?
