Nzi'fuma

Consequences
Injuries/Overstepping: He didn't actively carry anything so no protection for Nzi'fuma! A phlegmy, hacking cough that leaves the chest sore and for seasons afterwards, when he exerts himself, he may find that a phlegmy cough seems to linger in feel and sound in his lungs although overall, it won't affect him too badly. A little breathlessness, an ache and it might feel as if his throat is filmed over but a hard swallow or a drink will wash the sensation down. You can expect this to linger until late Vhalar, longer if some other illness takes hold of him.

Wow, Fuma's an interesting sort, isn't he? He really seems to think that he's doing good by doing bad. He was so nice to the children, especially with his storytelling, and almost seemed like he wouldn't hurt a fly. However, I can see in his characterisation here that he revels in their illness, seeing it as a mark of his lady's favour. His world view might make him grossly unpopular in Desnind if it's discovered so he'd better lay low! That might be difficult if he engages in kidnapping though! I hope to have the chance to read more about him in the future. It's just a shame that this was cut short.
I know you were hoping for some of Lisirra's favour. However, I think that this isn't quite strong enough for that. However, if you did another thread (perhaps actually snatching the child for Lisirra) then you could submit them both to the PSF to see about gaining abilities. Remember that you have to be honouring your Immortal or really strongly embodying their domains to catch their attention enough to be rewarded. The intent here is maybe a little too vague. Infecting the tea seems like a casual, almost thoughtless action and there's no guarantee that it'll do anything. If he'd tried to spread the illness further than it might have been enough. Just bear that in mind in the future!

Oh she's so down-to-earth, I love her! Medicine helps illness, not praying, you tell 'em! It's a shame that this didn't get to go any further because I feel that she would have sniffed out Nzi'fuma's true intents. Her instincts seem very good and her characterisation was certainly intriguing. As for the writing, the descriptions were lovely, offering very clear images and making the situation feel very real and grounded for me. Delightful writing as always and I would have liked to have seen more here but alas, it wasn't meant to be!
