Overview / Details: Balthazar steps on all the toes in Almund. He organizes and attends a meeting with Jacien at the bazaar to investigate rumors about the slave trade. Elisabeth shows up. He pivots poorly and is arrested by a very noticeable mass of flame troopers. Elisabeth, who was outside at the time because Balthazar realized (too late) that her being there was a bad idea, was taken as well.
What impact do you think this might have?: Balthazar is now in trial and Jacien’s 3 arcs of undercover work may have been blown due to the big show.
Anything else you want to tell us?: Oops.

Overview / Details: Oram has noticed that the light of glowing chickens attracts bugs, and that the chickens eat the bugs. He has suggested, both to the Science Faculty at the University and to at least one farmer, that this might be a method for controlling locusts and other pests.
What impact do you think this might have?: Won't solve the crop failure problem, that's too big, but farmers start using this technique to control bugs going forward. Possible spike in demand for glowing chickens. Oram acquires a reputation for being a "pest control expert" or something (even though he doesn't actually know that much). Also the entire Science faculty knows who Oram is now, for better or worse.

Overview / Details: 30 trials of confinement for both...and a secret trial at the end. Balthazar is sentenced to his settlement at Faldrass, with Element guard and no-magic, and his mental health is to be evaluated. Elisabeth is not charged of any crime. Both will return to Faldrass.
What impact do you think this might have?: Uhhhhh.....a lot.
Anything else you want to tell us?: Yes, Elisa learned new Almund cuss words!

Consequences of this: Balthazar's consequences are in the trial. Now the trial has been reviewed, I'm going to post in the Settlement to be clear what happened during the 30 trials. This has a significant impact on Balthazar's reputation among the Elements - he's seen as unreliable and reckless. Elisabeth's reputation is also tainted. Elisabeth and Balthazar have a constant watch on them Balthazar must undergo psychological assessment, as per the review. Lots of other things, as yet undisclosed.....

He also makes an offering of 1.000 gn in a Coin Purse (a PB item) at Delroth's shrine in the Glass Temple.
What impact do you think this might have?:
- Devin's reputation increases! He's such a good and caring person and so helpful and religious!
- Delroth's popularity increases! Delroth's priesthood cares!
- Maybe even some positive effect on the Smooglenuff Barony? Devin mentioned that he's a Baron!

Overview / Details: Shl'dre's house in sweetwine collapses. Confused, he goes to darbyton only to find everyone with wooden houses having the same problem. He and a few other men band together and investigate, find the cause to be a type of unidentified bug. After the Dock boss gets involved she tasks Shl with sending samples to every settlement and village where houses could be compromised.
What impact do you think this might have?:
- Shl'drei's Reputation increases in Darbyton with his help of relief and investigation
- All settlements leaders are alerted (One by one) of the danger the bug poses in a letter from Larksong and a sample. Shl'drei gains a bit of reputation in the cities for bringing the news.
- There's a Scalvoris-wide effort to figure out where the bugs came from and how to get rid of them at least in settlements

Anything else you want to tell us?: Shl'drei will be delivering samples and letter copies, but slowly. He is told to visit each place, so he makes stops, rests, and continues. By the 60th of Ashan the whole of Scalvoris should be aware of the Sucklesoid.

Overview / Details: Over yonder, on Faldrass, the settlement of Hopetoun is established. Along the way, they realise that things have changed since the eruption, and they discover a couple of new, and previously unknown resources: charwood, a type of tree that has fire-resistant bark, and Faldrass Fire Worms, which look really pretty but might work quite well as light sources, assuming they're fed.
What impact do you think this might have?: In charwood, Hopetoun has discovered a really useful building material. Not only can it be used to construct buildings and walls, it's fire-resistant, which makes it great because of the added protection. Faldrass Fire Worms are pretty to look at, so the Hopetoun Hole might appeal to travellers who want to see something different...but Hopetounians could also keep some of them as light sources, like wriggly little night-lights!
