Fantasy RPG Forum - Standing Trials

Hey all!

No big drama but I am very aware that I have, currently, too many balls in the air on ST. I need to get some things finished - and currently my PC posting is really suffering. So, I've made the decision today, after some thought that I'm going to take a week off as a Storyteller. I'm happy to keep up with admin stuff, and I'm going to throw myself into getting Desnind Lore on the Wiki because then, I will be able to tick that off my list and feel like I've got a bit of space.

What this means is that I'm not going to be posting as a mod this week. My apologies to those who are expecting modposts from me, but I really need the headspace. Other than Desnind Lore, I'm going to be focusing on my PCs.

Where can I register to get a bounty? Tio's masked alter ego has been in the thieving/piracy business for a while now, I figure he should probably get a price on his head.

I was under the impression that Tio already had a bounty on his head.
I think it was mentioned in the bounty and odd jobs board.
Though I’m not sure a price was mentioned.
If you’d like that, we can work out a reward system for your capture dead or alive.

There's a bounty for this one thing he did while disguised as a doctor, but that has nothing to do with his piracy work.

Calendar Update

Following this thread, viewtopic.php?f=249&t=12788 the event below has been added to the calendar.

Ritual of Remembrance
The 85th Vhalar marks the very private 'ritual of the dead'. At some point during this trial a family gathers together and celebrates their dead, in the hope that they didn't stick around last season. This is done in a large family group or small ones, it does not matter and it is individual to each family.

Update: All across Scalvoris, during the Ritual of Remembrance, the cities and villages came under attack simultaneously. This attack consisted of necromantic thralls that were very clearly children in life entering homes during the ritual and attacking them, looking to eat them. They would not stop until captured or destroyed, and if they killed everyone in one house, they move on to the next. And so on and so forth.

Mod Note: If you wish to experience these attacks, you may self mod them. However, if you wish to delve more into the reason behind them, contact Ghoul to get modded.
