Located at almost exactly the mid-point of the eastern shore of Faldrass, just north of the Sentry, Haven is a small but rapidly growing coastal settlement, situated just off the orange sands of Faldrass. Founded by Balthazar Black in Cylus 721, the settlement is now lead by his wife, Elisabeth Angelus Black.
A small collection of homes welcome those that visit. To the north of the settlement is Blackstone Cove, a cozy inlet surrounded by trees and rock, offering a peaceful setting to those seeking a bit of solace. To the west sits Munny Farm and Immortal's Embrace.
A warm, inviting community, Haven serves as home to one of the university's research stations, as well as a growing clam farm.

He is arguably the most loyal guard in Haven. One of the first three Haven guards on Faldrass being trained by Balthazar, Balder is a member of the Decked Halls who heard about the destruction in Faldrass and the settlers going back to make a new home on the island. Balder joined the effort to work as a guard and quickly become a close friend of the mage who led Haven.

Details: Ronan is pragmatist with a dark sense of humor who takes joy in mocking those who he thinks deserve to be mocked. In more cases than not, he has put nels before friendship in his life. His loyalty can be earned over time, but even then his loyalty seems to only extend as far as your ability to keep him comfortable does. One of the first three Haven guards on Faldrass being trained by Balthazar, Ronan was working for a vendor in the Faldrass marketplace when the volcano erupted. He narrowly avoided the destruction that consumed the market and was left with nothing. He been born in and grew up in Scalvoris but had no where to go so when he heard that settlers were going back to the island, he joined to work as a guard for the settlement.

Details: Silk is a quick witted and often snarky individual who cares more deeply about things than she is ever willing to show. All the same she is a loyal friend to those she cares about even if she can butt heads with them on occasion. Silk never holds a grudge against her friends for very long but on the other end she will almost never forgive someone she decides is an enemy. Silk likes people who are out to help others, even if she puts up a selfish front at times. Silk has often found, due to her race, that most people reject her which has made her slower to trust others than most people. One of the first three Haven guards on Faldrass being trained by Balthazar, Silk tried training to work for the Elements for a short time before deciding the life wasn't for her and turning to more private endeavors in Almund and Faldrass. When the volcano erupted, her home was hit and much of her life was lost to the destruction that followed. Silk salvaged what she could but didn't have any solid footing until she joined the settlers going to Haven and began working as a guard for Balthazar and the settlement.
