If the small rudeness of Elisabeth's ignoring and not acknowledging Jiam's queries bothered the Bellinos, he didn't show it. He didn't mind it in truth, perhaps he'd been too forward, but he felt since she'd been so open that he should be similarly so. Live and learn. Yet, he and Vri would remember the small slight with a touch of sorrow, as relatively minor a thing as it was.

At any rate, it wasn't Jiam who led Balthazar and Elisabeth into the main chamber where the intimate wedding was to be held. When it was time, they found their way to the place where the procession and service would be held, as if they recognized the way and knew it by heart. The rest of the audience, which contained a few other faithful of Vri, Duchess Ebony Venora, and Elisabeth with Balthazar. They would wait in silent reverie for it to begin, enjoying the company of their significant other as well. Their love pleased Vri as well.

Vri stood nervously at the altar, while Faith led Anaza down the aisle, ready to give her away to her Immortal love. Anaza, despite her attempts to diffuse her nerves while with Faith and Eliza, her arm shook in Faith's as the latter led her down. Yet if Faith looked toward Anaza, she'd see no signs of distress. Anaza looked ahead to Vri, her future, and whatever it might bring.

Rose went ahead of Faith and Anaza, spreading flower petals on their path. She did her job in marvelous fashion, it had to be said, and Anaza was pleased with their flower girl. Yet, a tear trailed down her eye as she looked on the little girl, for a moment before meeting Vri's gaze with a smile.

Faith and Anaza arrived at the altar, where Faith took up position on Anaza's side of the procession while Rose fell into formation with her mother, trying to be very precise and well-behaved as she could.

Next, as the song of Eliza's came to a conclusion, the halls fell silent. Tristan took advantage of the silence to go into his speech about love, and the miraculous nature of relationships in general. Even in the face of a Divine pairing such as this, even the most earthly love was sacred in Vri's eyes, just as much as his was. When Tristan concluded his sermon, and bid the couple to give their vows, should they have prepared any, Vri was well pleased by his mortal servant.

Soon, Ayla and Wren came down the aisle, bearing the rings on pillows made of Velvet. Ayla had a smile on her face, while Wren was the picture of determination and focus. They stepped in sync more or less, as they brought the rings to the Altar. When they arrived, Wren took up position on Vri's side, while Ayla took up position by Anaza's. Tristan, as the officiator of the ceremony, would accept the rings and safeguard them for the exchange.

There was a slight awkwardness, as Vri almost seemed to wonder if he should make the first move when it came to declaring his vows. Anaza, seeing his uncertainty, nodded encouragement to him. In all likelihood, Vri was the bigger crier than her, and so it would behoove him to give them first, so he could make it through them.

He cleared his throat, "Anaza, my love, mother of our children..." His voice cracked slightly, but he maintained composure, "What can I say but this? I will never forget you. Through sorrow and love, I will maintain our love in perpetuity, unless and until Death itself shall take me." A fairly grim vow, but this was new territory for them all, even Vri, who'd maintained stewardship over many relationships, and even married a few people. He was at a loss for words. But the words he said were truly and deeply felt.

Anaza smiled, and gave mirrored vows, feeling it apropos to reflect his own words from her own perspective. "Vri, my love, father of our children..." However where his voice had faltered, hers never did. In the centuries she'd been beyond Death's grasp, she didn't remember a moment of it by necessity. But something from that experience was still on her, and she pulled from that wellspring of strength and divinity to stand before Vri. "Through sorrow and love, I will maintain our love in perpetuity and remembrance, forever." She said, correcting him with a smile.

Thus There was little else for it but Tristan to officiate the exchange of rings, which he did, and they affirmed their commitment to each other by sliding the jewelry onto each one's finger. First Vri for Anaza, and then Anaza for Vri.

At the end, there was an awkward pause, but then Vri gently embraced Anaza, she him, and they kissed each other.

When they broke the kiss, Vri smiled at the audience, and his voice boomed throughout Bellinos, with all the gravity of a church organ. "Enjoy the festivities guests and honored friends! Enjoy and remember the hospitality of Bellinos. Refreshment will be held in the adjoining hall, where we will join you soon!"

Thus, Jiam appeared at the entrance to the wedding chapel, and announced himself by clearing his throat. "Please, I would ask us all to make for an orderly exit to the adjoining hall for the celebration to continue. My lord wishes to be alone with his bridge for just a few moments, but they will join you there shortly." So Jiam smiled at each of them, and gestured for them all to fall in step behind him.

The hall was as it had been before, strangely familiar yet comfortable and welcoming to each one of the guests and wedding party. They were allowed to exit the chamber where the wedding was held, after they said their peace to each other or to the Divine couple.

Refreshments of the kind served to Balthazar and Elisabeth were on offer there, and in the center a space was cleared, potentially for the wedding party to dance if they felt like it, or congregate.

The moment, it seemed, belonged to each one of them, to get better acquainted and comfortable before receiving the Divine couple to the celebration.

The ceremony was beautiful and touching, and Tristan felt honored that he’d been asked to officiate. He was incredibly proud of his daughter and smiled widely when she came down the aisle together with Wren, bearing the rings, but more than that, he was happy for Anaza and Vri because they would finally be together forever. He accepted the rings from the children, carefully, thanking them before he turned to the divine couple again and waited for them to share their vows with each other as well as their guests.

When Vri didn’t speak right away, when there was a moment of slight awkwardness, the young duke offered the Immortal an encouraging smile. It was obvious by the way that Vri’s voice cracked that the situation affected him. Unlike the Immortal himself, Tristan didn’t think that his vow was grim. On the contrary, he found it beautiful. He had told Anaza that he would maintain their love in perpetuity. What more could anybody give?

What more could you promise your spouse than forever?

He smiled at Vri and his bride before he told them that they could exchange the rings now. When they kissed, he smiled once more. “Congratulations”, he told the newly married couple in a gentle tone of voice when they finally broke the kiss before he stepped away once more in order to give them a bit of privacy. As they had said, they would join them soon.

“I’m pleased to make your acquaintance”, he said to Jiam before he took Ayla’s hand in his. Together they followed him into the adjoining hall where refreshments would be waiting for them. He got a little to eat and asked Ayla if she wanted anything before he approached the one person he had wanted to talk to since he had found out that she would be there.

“Faith”, he greeted her, smiled brightly at her and inclined his head slightly. “It’s good to see you again. It’s been too long. I’d like to thank you for reuniting Anaza and Vri. How are you?” he wanted to know.

Ayla watched her father and the unfamiliar woman for a few moments before she walked off as she was a bit bored. When she spotted Wren, her eyes abruptly lit up, and she walked up to him and asked him in a very polite and serious tone of voice, “Would you like to dance with me?”

Duchess Ebony who had left the wedding chapel after her grandson simply stood there for a moment, marveling at her surroundings and the extraordinariness of the situation, although she did so in a very dignified manner of course, before she approached Hart. There had been a time when she had refused to talk to him, or about him, and when she had refused to acknowledge Noah’s illegitimate son, but too much had been lost in recent arcs.

Besides, it was not his fault that Noah had slept with another woman even though he had already known Meadow, his future wife.

“You are Noah’s son, aren’t you?” she asked him in a calm and very polite tone of voice. “I would like to get to know you better, provided that you are willing to tell me about you. Tristan”, she continued and nodded at the (former?) Duke of Oakleigh. “Seems to be fond of you. I didn’t expect to get two new great-grandchildren this trial”, she admitted and looked at Wren for a moment, smiling very, very lightly, before she turned to face the Mortalborn of Edasha again and waited for his answer.

It was a beautiful service and Faith felt a swell of pride for Rose as she watched her daughter acting as the flower girl. Love and sorrow were so intermingled, Faith knew and that was never more evident to her than when she looked at Rose. The arcs where her daughter had been dead were a source of immense pain and, of course, enormous joy when she was returned to them. That was all intermingled with Faith's devotion to Vri, to the truthblade, to Ellasin. There was so much and it was close to impossible to untangle and so Faith put it to one side and focused on her daughter and her own role here and the couple who were celebrating their love.

The vows they spoke caused a smile to cross Faith's face and she silently watched. There was so much for the pair of them to say, so much for them to acknowledge and in those few simple words of their vows, Faith felt the weight of their history and the hope for their future. Tristan's words were simply lovely and, when he spoke, Faith met his gaze and she smiled at him. He encouraged Vri to speak with a kind expression and he managed the whole service with a maturity and grace which caused Faith's heart to swell with pride for him.

When it was all over, and they were led out of there, Faith took hold of Rose's hand and she made her way over to Tristan. She smiled in greeting to Elisabeth, stopped congratulate Eliza on a marvellous and beautiful song and then she stood in front of the man who had saved her; in just about every way it was possible for one being to save another. Tristan smiled and inclined his head, but Faith did no such thing. Faith moved forward and she hugged him, wrapping her arms around him. "Oh, Tristan, it is good to see you!" Emotion made her voice thick and she hugged him hard. Then, she lifted herself up on her toes and she kissed his cheek. "I'm doing well, much better, thank you," she said. Katie had met Tristan while Faith had been in a coma and she had returned from that with a gift which Faith truly treasured.

"How are you?" Faith asked. "Are you well? " Faith chuckled to herself, "I want to fuss, to check that you're eating well, things like that. " She held out her hand and gestured to Rose, who looked at Tristan with a serious gaze. " This is Rose. Rose, this is Tristan. He's family." Rose smiled and gave a shy wave to Tristan. "Mother has told me about you. It's nice to meet you."

Rose then looked at Faith and a communication seemed to pass between them. Faith nodded, "Go on, darling, that's fine." Rose walked away, making her way to the food. Faith turned back to Tristan. "So tell me all your news? Padraig and I are going to Rharne, to set up a scientific community near Volta. How are you?"

Faith was more than delighted to see Tristan and she was happy to savour the moment.

Eliza would feel a familiar presence beside her, as she finished her song. A polite clapping accompanied the ending of it, as Ymiden strode beside her, "Well done, my sweet daughter. I'm so proud of you." He smiled at her in genuine happiness then. Then he offered his arm to her.

"I was hoping to spend some time, just the two of us now, but before that, I must have words with Vri. If you'll come with me, or you can join the rest of the guests? Up to you."

Whatever her decision, Ymiden would walk up to Vri, and speak to him. "Vri... I congratulate you on your happiness. Today is a day worth celebrating, as you're reunited in marriage with your long-lost love, Anaza." The Immortal of Forgiveness nodded to his bride, and then turned his eyes back toward Vri himself, "However, I see that you've suffered, and I fear that suffering will be prolonged without indulging in forgiveness..."

Ymiden sighed, and waved his hand. An image of a man, Alistair Venora, appeared in the vision. "This man has suffered long from your curse. Not only that, but he's a danger so long as he bears it. I must please beg you, then. To remove this curse from him. Both as a token of forgiveness and healing, and as a mercy to those who may become his future victims..."

So saying, Ymiden bowed his head before Vri, and waited for his judgment.

When Faith hugged him and subsequently kissed him on the cheek, Tristan’s eyes widened in surprise for a moment, and then he simply hugged her back. He remembered how worried he had been when Katie had told him that Faith was in a coma – he couldn’t not remember due to Vri’s Blessing – and he was so infinitely relieved that she was back to her former self. Besides that, he was of course proud of her!

When she told him that she wanted to fuss and check if he was eating well, he laughed, his blue eyes twinkling, before he replied in a more serious (but nonetheless joyful!) tone of voice, “I am. I’m very well. I’m in Melrath at the moment. I went there after the plague. I invented burning ice and an anti-winter potion, and I even won an alchemy contest. And I have a Diri now. His name is Chester, and he’s a cat!” he proclaimed, his happiness obvious.

“Speaking of cats, Mistral still lives with me, by the way. Did you know that he originally comes from the Misty Miasma?” he asked. Faith and Mistral hadn’t really gotten along back in Rynmere, but he thought that she might want to know that the cat who had once been called a failed necromantic experiment was still alive and well, nevertheless.

To be honest, Tristan wanted to fuss a bit as well and ask Faith approximately a thousand questions because it had been much too long since he had last seen her, but when she introduced Rose to him, he turned to the girl, extended his hand for her to shake and subsequently told her in a serious tone of voice, “It’s nice to meet you as well, Rose. I have a daughter as well. Ayla just seems to try and persuade Wren to dance with her”, he observed and smiled at his child.

When Rose walked away, Tristan turned to Faith again. “How is Padraig nowadays? Is he still inventing things with alchemy and physics?” he wanted to know. Once upon a time, he had really disliked Faith’s husband. He had in fact been tempted to drop a sculpture on his head at one point. He had also been a little jealous of him, because he had married Faith. Once upon a time, he had loved her – he hadn’t realized that until it had been too late – but nowadays, he was simply glad to be one of her friends.

He had realized that Padraig and he weren’t so different, after all. When Padraig had taught him alchemy, they had actually gotten along, although they had agreed not to tell Faith out of fear of the possible consequences. His past behaviour seemed a bit silly to him nowadays, to be honest. Padraig was a good man, and Faith really loved him.

That was important.

“I might visit Rharne in the near future”, he told her when she mentioned the scientific community that Padraig and she wanted to set up. “I haven’t had a vacation in a couple of arcs. I’d love to visit your community, provided that you’ll have me”, he admitted, grinning.

Love...
12 Ymiden 721

The ceremony progressed, and Elisabeth’s hand gently slipped against Balthazar’s, giving him a warm smile but saying nothing. She let the words being spoken drift into her mind, considering each of them. Sorrow was always the domain of Vri’s that she had trouble connecting to, but that was mostly because she didn’t understand how the Immortal himself viewed it. Perhaps sometrial, she could ask him.

Love. That was the domain that spoke the most to her. To Elisabeth, however, love went far beyond romantic love. Of course, that particular brand of love belonged to Balthazar and Balthazar alone, but there were other types. A protective creature, she had always felt that there was a connection with love when she protected another, or tried to. There was the love she felt for people she was close to. Were those emotions really love though? She didn’t know, nor was it easy to explain the way her mind worked. There was the love she felt for Haven, and even Faldrass. How did people define love? Elisabeth certainly couldn't define it, although she knew when she felt it. Maybe it was one of those things that defied explanation.

As the ceremony concluded, it was easy to see the love that Vri and Anaza shared, and it made Elisabeth happy to know that there was such enduring love in the world and that she and Balthazar had been able to share in the trial with them.

It was announced that there were refreshments back in the adjoining hall. Looking up at her date, Elisabeth grinned softly. “So, first Immortal wedding. Thoughts?” The young woman wasn’t in a rush to adjourn to the hall just yet, letting the throng of people by while she waited with Balthazar, leaning against him just a bit so they could talk quietly. In truth, it was her first wedding ever, so she couldn’t even begin to compare it to anything else. First time in an Immortal’s domain. Lots of firsts.

When the people dwindled down and the last of them were departing to the next room, Elisabeth gently wrapped her arm through his. “Refreshments are waiting, and we should join the others, yes?” She was curious as to what he was thinking, but as always, knew that he would tell her once the thoughts were ready to be spoken.

Once they made it into the Hall again, Elisabeth glanced around for Faith, wishing to say hello, explaining to Balthazar. "The young woman that was standing with Anaza? I met her in Rharne. Faith. I'd like to say hello and introduce you?" When Elisabeth's eyes found Faith, she noted that the woman was talking to the young man that had officiated the ceremony so she waited patiently, smiling up at Balthazar again, just happy to be with him.

Once Eliza had played her part and finished the song, she'd quietly found herself a place to sit rather than remain standing in front of the choir during the ceremony. She couldn't help but think that the groom appeared somewhat melancholy or sad in spite of the joyous occasion; and in spite of how much he clearly adored his bride. But he was Vri, Eliza thought and it probably just couldn't be helped.

Still, it was a beautiful and inspiring ceremony and even Eberhardt had popped her head up out of Eliza's handbag and was watching intently with a soft expression in her enormous eyes and the tiny primate was, on this very rare occasion, utterly silent throughout. Eliza didn't anticipate that she'd ever choose to marry, no matter how long she lived. But she couldn't help but still be inspired by the celebration of two souls and hearts being joined together.

And on a more practical note, considering she'd be painting a portrait for the happy couple after the fact, it was a good time to gaze upon the couple as all eyes would be turned that way, and commit what she saw to memory. One that she'd call upon later when she sat down to canvas, brushes in hand.

Afterwards, she was just beginning to consider what to do with herself when her Immortal Father appeared just beside her. She'd sensed his presence, even before she looked his way and smiled. "Father," she said. Eliza had dearly hoped she'd see her father that evening. When he praised her performance her smile broadened, but it was a shy one and preceded a small confession. "Thank you," she said. "I was nervous." It was true. Eliza had no qualms about displaying her work on canvas for others to look at. Singing in front of an audience was a different matter entirely.

"I would like that very much," she said in regards to spending more time with her father, just the two of them, and happily took his arm to accompany him while he spoke to the newly married couple. "Congratulations. It was a beautiful and inspiring ceremony. A fitting start to your future lives together," she said to both Anaza and Vri, before falling silent again as her Immortal Father addressed Vri in particular.

Eliza didn't recognize the name that Ymiden invoked, nor the face that he conjured out of thin air. It was not for her to speak now or join in, so she only waited quietly alongside the Immortal while Vri considered his words. Fitting ones, she thought, no matter the history between Vri and this man whoever he was, coming from the Immortal of Forgiveness.

12 Ymiden 721
It was a beautiful ceremony but there was not much more Balthazar could say. Every part of it was performed in a perfect way but other than Vri, Anaza and the woman beside him, there were not many among the crowd that Balthazar recognized by anything but reputation. It didn't detract from his enjoyment of the gathering but he found himself orbiting Elisabeth more than being social and he wasn't quite sure that was the best decision. The event progressed, the ceremony was beautiful, and no one there was likely to forget it. Few in the room could forget it.

The most notable thing to Balthazar, apart from the ceremony, was when another immortal arrived and requested Vri remove the curse he put on someone. Balthazar didn't hear all of it from where he saw but he could gauge enough from what he could see. . Balthazar found himself a little surprised that only Ymiden had come to the wedding of his fellow immortal and not the others. He didn't expect Syroa to receive an invitation but the wedding of an immortal was... a remarkable moment. A commitment unlike the ones mortals made in some ways and a commitment exactly like it in others. It struck Balthazar as odd that Ymiden had come to the wedding with an agenda, but Elisabeth quickly took Balthazar's attention from that occurrence when she asked if this was his first immortal wedding.

Balthazar grinned, "It's a first," he admit with an oddly distant look as he tried to move them slowly from where they'd been to where the refreshments were meant to be. He did not forget that Jiam had said Vri wished to be alone with his renewed bride so he kept his feet moving. "I haven't gone to many weddings. I've seen a few proposals though." He didn't immediately say that he didn't go because he didn't see the point most of the time. Vri's invitation was different. Vri was the reason Balthazar was alive now. Vri could have asked Balthazar to go just about anywhere and he might very well have done it because he felt he owed the immortal that. However if... Anton asked him to go to a wedding Balthazar was certain he'd come up with 'casework' that kept him too busy. Love and the celebration of it were two different things. Elisabeth asked for his thoughts and so he gave them after a few trills, "I've never been one for the ceremony. I never felt it was... necessary."

Elisabeth mentioned a woman named Faith who she'd met in Rharne and the name was familiar. If not from shopping in a store owned by her then from her legend. He'd never met her but when Elisabeth expressed her interest Balthazar saw no reason to interfere. "Lead the way then."

by Hart
12th Ymiden, 721
It was a beautiful wedding, and Hart sat quietly to witness it. He smiled quietly when Tristan spoke because his brother's officiating was beautiful, and smiled as well when the newlyweds spoke their vows. Their vows were emotional for them; when Vri's voice broke on the vow that mentioned their kids, their vows became emotional for Hart as well.

The emotions Hart experienced, listening to their vows, were complicated. He'd been involved in the loss of Vri and Anaza's kids; he'd been involved in the Maze.

Wren, before he'd been Wren, had been the Maze's heart. When Hart had met him, Wren had been tormented by Vri's kids. Hart had stopped the mortalborn of Dreams and the mortalborn of Nightmares from their torment of Wren.

When he'd stopped them in the Maze, they'd gone to sleep and -though Hart hadn't known it at the time- it had been a sleep that they wouldn't wake from.

The complication was there, because Hart was sorry for the loss of Vri and Anaza's kids. He would never not be sorry for their loss; he would never not wish that it might have been different for them.

But neither was he sorry for stopping the mortalborn from tormenting Wren.

The wedding was beautiful, and the vows were emotional, and when it was over Hart stood and applauded with the other guests. It was difficult, when he was applauding them, not to get overwhelmed by that emotion.

But when the wedding was over he smiled brightly -like a mirror in light- when Wren broke from the wedding party. The boy spoke briefly to Vri and Anaza before breaking from them and running over to Hart. Wren gave him tight embrace, and Hart embraced him just as tightly. "You did very well, Wren," he said. Wren hadn't questioned whether he had done well by speaking; he had with the embrace. "I'm so proud of you," Hart said.

"But," he smiled, "I will never not be proud of you."

"What now?" Wren asked, and Hart answered, "Now I give my congratulations to the newlyweds." When there was the opportunity, he would congratulate them briefly on their wedding. Then, with the other guests, he and Wren would move respectfully to give Vri and Anaza a moment to themselves.

"Now that the wedding's over," Hart said, "There's the dancing."

"The dancing?" Wren asked, and that was when Ayla walked up to them. "I would like to dance with you, Ayla," Wren said politely. "But," he said thoughtfully, "Maybe the flower girl would like to dance, too?"

"Rose," Hart said, and Wren looked thoughtfully over at the flower girl.

"My- Hart went to the Mummer's Ball," Wren said to Ayla. "It was a ball in Rharne. He told me he danced with two other people at the ball. He also told me he danced in a group." Many people thought of dancing as something one or two people did. But three people were able to dance, like Wren and Rose and Ayla; people were able to dance in groups, as well.

If Ayla would like to ask Rose to dance
, Wren would go with Ayla over to the flower girl. "Would you like to dance with us?" Wren asked her, politely but quietly. If Rose said she would then, presumably, the three of them would dance.

Hart smiled at them, though he stopped smiling momentarily when Ebony Venora walked up to him.

Hart braced himself momentarily, not knowing what the Venora might say. But when Ebony spoke it was politely, and so Hart smiled politely at her. He bowed to Ebony briefly.

"Would you like to dance?" he asked the older woman, holding out one hand. If she would like to dance, he would speak to her while they danced.

If Ebony wouldn't like to dance, Hart would speak to her, still; dancing or no, he spoke quietly of his life. He told Ebony that he had a mother, whom he loved and who loved him; he spoke briefly of his life with his mother and the biqaj.

He told Ebony that he'd not known who his father was until he'd gone to Rynmere in 716 and met his brother. He told her that he'd never met his father Noah -Ebony's son- or most of the other Venoras; he'd only met his brother and niece.

He told her that he'd not known who his birth mother was until he'd met her in 718, and he told her -bracing himself once more, not knowing how she might respond- that his birth mother was the immortal Edasha.

If Ebony would like to ask questions, Hart would likely answer them, though he also likely wouldn't answer her questions indiscriminately. He liked to speak briefly about himself.

If Ebony was would like to answer questions, there were questions Hart would like to ask her as well. "I'd like to know about you," Hart said quietly. Then, "I'd like to know about my father. Tristan and I haven't much spoken about my father; I think that is because, for most of the time I've known of him, I wouldn't have liked to know."

"I'm sorry," Hart told Ebony, "About the loss of Venora. I'm sorry about your home; I know Tristan is quite sad about having lost his home, both in Venora and Oakleigh."

"If it's not too much," Hart said, "What was Venora like? I never had the opportunity to go to Venora, but I think there were a lot of flowers there; I would have liked to go."

The ceremony was concluded, and the situation winding down when Ymiden appeared next to his daughter and led her to greet Ymiden and Anaza. "Very soon," He promised his daughter, "You choose the time and day, and I will be there. We'll spend it however you choose." Ymiden smiled at her, "Would you like that?"

He squeezed her arm regardless of her response and faced Vri waiting for his judgment on whether to lift the curse from Alistair Venora.

Vri's face contorted, momentarily. Most wouldn't notice it, but those with higher than average perceptiomastern would see it. Then, as soon as the emotion appeared, he was stoic, and somber again. Still feeling the afterglow of the beautiful ceremony that Tristan presided over, he nodded in greeting to Ymiden. A light touch on the shoulder from his new bride compounded his newly conciliatory mood.

"We will consider pardoning Alistair." Said Vri, as Ymiden bowed before him. "Should he wish it, and should he present himself before me, I will consider granting this request. However, it is Alistair Venora's appeal to make, my cousin. Not yours. But by the grace you've shown in sending your daughter to sing for us, and for appearing here personally, I could scarcely turn your request away entirely" Vri nodded to him.

Then he rose from where he was and addressed the rest of the people gathered. "My bride and I will retire, it has been a long ceremony, but I thank each and every one of you for coming to attend our wedding." Vri swept his arm over the rest of the visitors and smiled sadly. "I will see to your prompt return to where you left off, before coming here, but in the meantime, you are free to enjoy the hospitality of Bellinos and the company of each other."

So saying, he bowed in thanks to the entire assembly. Anaza and Vri, hand in hand, departed the hall then. It appeared their part in this ceremony was done, but they had an eternity to look forward to.
