Brief description of thread: Darius, Lars, and Marvin set about making the road between Smooglenuff Manor and Hopetoun safer. They do this by repairing part of the road, finding a place of shelter for future travellers, and fighting off some bandits.
Make your case! If you're protecting or saving Scalvorians or Scalvoris in some way, great! But if not - how does it impact the Induks? How is it impactful?: This should (in theory) result in safer travel between the manor and the settlement, and add a degree of security to both locations.

Following on from the consequence from the above thread, the following three threads were created...

Thread: 'Ottery Shards, An-ot'er Dread Otter Thread, Ambush At Otter Cove
Type of Forged: FireForged.
Participants: Darius Baer with a handful of NPCs, including Lars and Kirt from Hopetoun, and five new followers.
Brief description of thread: Darius and company hear word that the Dread Otter is near the settlement, so they head out to fight them off. The sea action is brief and indecisive, but the Libertalia does succeed in scaring the pirates off and protecting their fishing boats. Later, they hear that the pirate sloop might be returning to the settlement, and they head out to find them. Eventually discovering the pirates careening their ship in a secluded cove, an ambush is launched and the pirates are defeated once and for all.
Make your case! If you're protecting or saving Scalvorians or Scalvoris in some way, great! But if not - how does it impact the Induks? How is it impactful?: The Faldrass coast is no longer subject to raids from the crew of the Dread Otter. This of course serves the Hopetounians well, but also the other nearby villages over which Darius is not officially protector. Hopefully, it also deters others from taking up piracy around this part of the Faldrass coast.

Participants: Doran
Brief description of thread: A ship arrives in Scalvoris Town. When it becomes obvious that there is something strange about it, Doran decides to help. The passengers are wearing old-fashioned clothes, and what more, they believe it's the arc 521, and they don't recognize Scalvoris. Doran examines them for possible (mental) health issues. He alerts the Order of the Adunih and a colleague from the Institute of Metaphysics who is familiar with unusual phenomena. He makes sure that the passengers get something to eat and have a warm place to stay. He determines a possible cause for that strange event (time travel, the fracture of Fei) and even offers to let people stay in his home.
Make your case! If you're protecting or saving Scalvorians or Scalvoris in some way, great! But if not - how does it impact the Induks? How is it impactful?: Doran shows that he wants to help the people of Scalvoris and those that come to the island. An event that may have been caused by the Grand Fracture of Fei seems like something that the Induks might consider important - the fracture played a big part in the events of the Forging as well.

Brief description of thread: Darius - with assistance from Katara - discovers a couple of his FF abilities and learns how to cast fireballs (and also how not to fly)!
Make your case! If you're protecting or saving Scalvorians or Scalvoris in some way, great! But if not - how does it impact the Induks? How is it impactful?: Darius does not directly protect or save Scalvorians or Scalvoris in this thread, but I think it is impactful because it shows that he is learning more of what being a FF entails, and equipping himself for future encounters. He's learning how to channel his FF abilities and growing his connection to Faldrass. It's basically a less athletic version of those scenes from The Empire Strikes Back where Luke is piggybacking Yoda while doing flips on Dagobah!

Brief description of thread: Darius travels to Harvardr in the wake of the Faldrass eruption to see if he can help in any way. He ends up joining Rorom's expedition to hunt down Breachfang, a fierce sea wolf that has been terrorising (and eating!) the people of Harvardr following the tsunami.

How is it impactful?: This is unquestionably an act of protecting Scalvoris and Scalvorians, but it should be noted that although Darius and his crew provided a critical supporting role, it was Rorom who actually slew the beast.

Thread: The Raskbuck Burns Tonight and Disarmed At Sea
Type of Forged: Fire Forged
Participants: Balthazar Black
Brief description of thread: These are the final two threads of a series where Balthazar finally gets around to actually stopping the pirate crew he and the Elements were trying to locate. The two threads follow the Balthazar and the Elements organizing and springing a trap on the crew of The Raskbuck which leads to the arrest of the pirate captain and most of his crew.
Make your case! If you're protecting or saving Scalvorians or Scalvoris in some way, great! But if not - how does it impact the Induks? How is it impactful?: I think this could qualify for protecting Scalvoris/Scalvorians because he is protecting the seas and land from pirates by apprehending and putting a stop to a particularly violent crew.

Brief description of thread: Balthazar manages to stop a robbery in Scalvoris by holding off more than ten thieves in unarmed combat long enough for the Elements to respond to the signal he sends out using his fire forged fireballs.

How is it impactful?: Balthazar is protecting the people of Scalvoris by putting away a large number of criminals, even if they are just henchmen who's dastardly leader escaped.

Brief description of thread: These two threads follow Balthazar and the Elements investigating the city wide candle heist that occurred in Zi'da. They track the criminals to the Witchwood graveyard and apprehend them with minimal conflict or damage done.

How is it impactful?: Balthazar is protecting Scalvoris by putting away criminals and helping return peace of mind to the citizens who felt victimized when their homes were broken into and their candles were stolen.

Brief description of thread: This thread dates back to Ymiden 720, when Darius, Balthazar, and Nir'wei go to the Heart of Scalvoris to investigate what damage has been caused by the Faldrass eruption.
Make your case! If you're protecting or saving Scalvorians or Scalvoris in some way, great! But if not - how does it impact the Induks? How is it impactful?: Our daring trio discover evidence of the diri of destruction, although the diri itself is no longer there.

Brief description of thread: In the first one, Woe saves a girl from frost, and brings her into shelter, using his abilities to heal her frostbite, as well as some conventional healing/caregiving. In the second one, Woe volunteers during the blizzard in the Order Outpost in Scalvoristown. He teaches a few volunteers how to make an anti-inflammatory tea and generally helps around the Outpost.
Make your case! If you're protecting or saving Scalvorians or Scalvoris in some way, great! But if not - how does it impact the Induks? How is it impactful?: He helps some people, but I'm not sure how it impacts the Induks apart from protecting and offering aid to the people who live in Scalvoris.
