Participants: Darius Baer and the crew of the Libertalia.
Brief description of thread: Following on from I Walk The Line, (posted earlier), Darius and the crew of the Libertalia pursue the Dread Otter. The battle is inconclusive, but it does serve to protect the fishing crews, and they force the pirates away from Hopetoun. As a result, the pirates know that they can expect a fight if they return.

Thread: An-ot'er Dread Otter Thread and Ambush At Otter Cove.
Participants: Darius Baer, Lars, Kirt, and a handful of new followers.
Brief description of thread: Following on from 'Ottery Shards, (posted earlier), Darius gains a few new followers (renown reward) just as he hears that the Dread Otter is in the vicinity again. The group heads out and eventually puts an end to the pirates.
Settlement Resources Used:

• A new group of people are able and willing to join the settlement. (+5 population. No impact to order as per renown rules.)
• As these new followers are military, should this result in an order increase?
• The player completes an action that directly protects the settlers from harm. (Does not stack with the above action.) (+3% order.)
• Related to the consequence from Ambush At Otter Cove, Darius will be taking the two survivors to face a Scalvorian judge in a future thread. Depending on what the judge says, they may or may not join the settlement. If that happens, I'll post that thread in here.

Participants: Darius Baer, Vega Creed, and Ari'sora (now Rei'sari).
Brief description of thread: Darius returns from the Forging to discover that Vega and a member of the Order of the Adunih have been treating Ari'sora, whose appearance has been changed. Concerned that the sight of a half-Sev'ryn, half-Avriel - who some believe may have been partly responsible for the eruption andBaron Smooglenuff's death - might cause panic in the settlement, Darius and Vega persuade Ari'sora to A) leave the settlement, and B) change her name so that she won't be so easily recognised.

• None...? Although a Wandering NPC was used, who is now a Settlement NPC. (Isra.)

Thread: The Arrrraignment Arrrrangement
Participants: Darius Baer, Lars (Hopetoun NPC), and a few of Darius' followers.
Brief description of thread: Darius takes the two surviving pirates from Ambush At Otter Cove to face a judge in Scalv-Town. He convinces them beforehand to plead guilty, and then requests the judge to issue a lenient punishment as a result.
Settlement Resources Used:

• None.

• A new group of people are able and willing to join the settlement. (+2 population; -2% order.)
• The player completes an action that proves they are trustworthy to the settlers. (Offenders will be held to account; sincerity can be rewarded and nobody is considered a lost cause.) (+1% order.)

Brief description of thread: Following a consequence given in a previous thread, Vega is approached by Hopetoun folks wanting her to perform a miracle. Rather than start thumping, she helps them. But not in the way they want - she talks to them about how they help themselves.

I'm not sure. Vega directly solves / helps with a number of problems the individuals are experiencing, so that would be +2 order. But also, she's just proving herself to be who she is - which is +1 Order.

Thread: A Shellter Against Outrageous Fortune
Participants: Darius Baer and Kisaik Ciuruọrun sọ Kufuata Karo
Brief description of thread: Kisaik requests permission from Darius to establish a knight order. (Permission granted! ) Then, a whistle mishap leads to a drawer dragon going on the rampage, and Darius single-handedly defeats it.

• Also, the establishment of a knight order to protect Faldrass would have a positive impact here, but unsure what that should be.

The proximity of a group of Knights also adds to the sense of security and community in Hopetoun. In any season where these Knights are active and seen (aka: in at least one thread) Hopetoun gains a bonus +2% to Order, on top of whatever the thread earns.
