Torqin has finally arrived back in Rynmere from his escape to the Eastern Settlements, as found Here. This is an open thread to anyone and while not particularly full of much to do at the outset, I think it will be enjoyable.

For all of you involved in the Pyre of the King thread, please note the date has been corrected to match the Cylus 718 calendar. The first mage execution is now taking place on 5 Cylus instead of 3 Cylus. Don't mind us, folks, we were in a hurry to keep you all warm in this dark season. Please note the weather for early Cylus is blizzard conditions. Take care and ... carry on.

Special thanks to Torqin (welcome back ... now go home ... just kidding ...) for pointing out that calendar discrepancy.

Speaking of the calendar, signups for the next moderated event with the Taking of the Guards are underway. No combat skills? Not a problem. This is not going to be a combat-heavy moment. The Solstice Disaster, well, that may be different.

Also, please note all of the other events going on this season that you all are welcome to participate in without a moderator, such as: the blizzard and dig out of Cylus 9-11, the Red Tide on the 13th, the rumors of a game shortage across the kingdom (specifically in Krome), and the Solstice on the 22nd. There are also two other non-moderated mage executions, on the 17th and 28th that you are welcome to write reactions to and/or participate in together as players. If you are planning any particular shenanigans, please run those ideas past a moderator here to make sure what kind of impact your choices may have during those events.

Cylus Things...

Yo. Don't let Caius' job scare you off, but I'd love to do some Cylus things with you people!

I'd also like to participate in the Dig Out on the 11th (Torqin, I'm game!), the game shortage rumors (and any unrest that may cause among the common folk), any of the other executions (gotta be there, come throw some veggies), and non-event days. When Caius isn't judging citizens as mages, he's actually a printmaker at his own shop, Ink and Prophet. He's also a nerd and still a student at Rynmere University, so you can always find him in what little spare time he manages in the library. Also, being a noble means he's probably rubbing elbows and being political even though he hates it.

So, plot some things! I'd love to be caught outside in some of this season's really foul weather because ... well, because.
