The Stardust Arch

The arch stands at approximately forty feet tall and rests on two thick bases of the same stone. There is a well-worn circle of stones at the base of the arch that is marked with the ash and charcoal of past campfires. Travelers are known to stop at this location when passing through the forest since the Stardust Arch is known as secure place to rest for the night.
Surrounding the area is a large clearing encircled by a fair amount of rubble that is similar in make to the stone of the arch itself. All of the rock is veined with glimmering silver dust that seems to glow faintly at night when touched by starlight. The sky above the Arch appears to be brighter and more vibrant at night as if this place has been uniquely blessed by the Immortal Xiur. His followers are known to seek out the Arch from time to time and burn candles and incense in his honor.
While the clearing is typically free from predators, the area around the Stardust Arch is unusually active with spiritual activity. Spirits of all kinds are known to appear and flit through the air during the darkest hours of the night.
Just to the west of the clearing there is a small crystal clear stream and a deep pool that is large enough for several people to bathe in. The water is cool and crisp but not at all uncomfortable. Berry bushes line the outer edge of the clearing as well, providing an easy source of food for those that pass by, although toxic plants are known to grow in the area. It is wise to only eat what you can identify for certain.
Above all things, the Stardust Arch serves as a welcome relief to road weary travelers even if it is eternally shrouded in mystery.
