With the Wealth Tier system in place now, you can request Wealth Points (think of it like a currency) in addition to your knowledge's and renown. Some things need to happen before you are able to request additional Wealth Points for the season.
- Noted your Wealth Skill in your Character Sheet
- Have completed your Wealth Thread. Unsure what that is? See here for more information.
For the first, there will be a spot in your Character Sheet, the Wealth Ledger, to note what your wealth skill is. Once that has been completed, you can move on to the second point. Doing your Wealth Thread. I won't go in to details of what that entails here, just follow the
link and learn all about that. You
must must must, complete this Wealth Thread before requesting additional points. No placeholders are allowed, no unfinished threads. It's okay if it hasn't been reviewed yet, but as long as it has been submitted to your City's Mods for approval, you are fine.
Once both of these items have been completed, great! Now you may begin requesting Wealth Points with your rewards. How many you ask? Well that depends on the deed! Much like renown, Wealth Points can be earned by accomplishing deeds. Went on an adventure? Helped a buddy ransack a village? Went whaling and learned some shanties along the way? Each of these are capable of earning you additional wealth points during the seasons. It isn't limited to these examples, of course, they are just to give you an idea of things you can potentially do to earn additional wealth points.
So, you've decided that your thread warrants a wealth point? Great. Add it into your review request that you'd like a wealth point, and also link to your Wealth Thread, (remember you need to have completed this prior to acquiring additional points), and then wait. It'll be up to the reviewer to determine whether or not your thread qualifies you for more wealth points, much like the renown system.
So we've added one additional thing to the reviews that need to be taken into account. Wealth Points. Players are able to request wealth points from their threads, but only if they've completed their Wealth Thread. It will be listed and linked to in the review request. Verify that it is done and not just a placeholder and you can continue with the review as normal. If it is just a placeholder, or hasn't been submitted for approval to city mods, then make note as such in your review.
So they've requested Wealth Points, and they have done the Wealth Thread. How many points should you give? 1 typically. There are probably some extraordinary feats that may warrant more than that, but a simple fishing trip won't. Ransacking a castle and stealing every valuable thing, while getting a great bounty on your head, is probably a good way to earn even more wealth points. It'll be a case by case basis, and up to the reviewer. It is perfectly acceptable, if you don't feel that the thread qualifies for any wealth points, to award them with 0 even if they asked for it.
