ọluwànjẹ ẹyïtï/Gnarled Plant Trap

First off,
the translation is only adapting the "Plant Trap" part of its name.
maybe change it to "Rough Plant Trap" which translates to "shïryär ọluwànjẹ ẹyïtï".
For that matter, it could still be "Gnarled" in common, but use the 'Rough' equivalent in Xanthean.

Then I'd drop the bold face. For whatever reason, you can see that certain letters are staying in light face.
Plus, no other entries in this forum are in bold...lol

Also, why always southern Idalos???

There are plenty of deep woods areas. You could have a history outline their origins being in southern Idalos, but this is something that could well have been more recently created through the malice of Lisirra, and be well established in central Idalos as well. This may also be because, to me, it seems more like a jungle denizen than a forest type. And the jungle zones are more equatorial (Rhakros / Athart).

One last thing. It seems that it performs all necessary functions other than travel and defense through its trap portion, including devouring its prey. So what does it need a mouth for? Does it bite in defense? Is its bite venomous?

Being the grammar nazi that I am, I see a number of errors. Rather than listing them, I will probably just go through and deal directly with them. But not right now. :D

Reworked. I am still fairly new here and learning more of lore. The history section of the knowledge base doesn't describe a lot of the interactions that occur between the immortals and what exactly occurs within the world of Idalos currently (though i guess that is why it is history) lol. Edit: I found most of the history involving their situations and history are in the gods/goddesses list. Duh.

Okay, so yeah, initially, I had gotten the impression that the acidic balls within the trap were the same as the Blood Beads.
But it is clearer now.

So correct me if I'm wrong, the acid balls in the trap are only to dissolve tough substances like armor, and to digest prey.
Whereas, the blood beads are formed from the internal processing of the blood ingested by the "mouth" (not the trap), which is most likely obtaining this blood by sucking on some part of the prey still sticking out of the trap during its attack.

I really like this monster. I like how it has several beneficial aspects as well.

Now I myself have no real problem with its proposed history, but should get an okay from a few other folks.
