A preview of the 31st of Ymiden 720:
The ether rains that fell earlier in Ymiden of 720 have abated, and in their wake, the waters of Svariella have taken on a prismatic coloration. Even when bottled and removed, the waters project a colorful rainbow when held to the light, that shimmers and ripples with life. When imbibed, a Stormtouched mage proclaims that his flaying thirst has disappeared. This sends shockwaves that reach out to the rest of Melrath, and many mages belageured by the Thirst flock to Svariella to test these waters for themselves, in desperation. The Stormtouched of Svariella have put out a call for Aesir to safeguard and oversee these tastings. The call is a small olive branch to the rest of Melrath, that perhaps bodes well for the integration of the Stormtouched into whatever society emerges from the events of the past cycles.
Yet, not all is well with the Stormtouched. There are still ignorant and ill-mannered louts among the Melrathi, who think of the Stormtouched as foul abominations. Even some among Mykvior's children remain to harass the mutated Melrathi. Yet when bodies begin turning up in the wilderness, belonging to these adversaries to Svariella, some of the Melrathi are eager to point their fingers at the Stormtouched in accusation.
Ydalir are dispatched to find the culprit, and they find that it's no human that has been mutilating the enemies of the Stormtouched, but a beast corrupted by the ether storms of yesterarc...
More information to come in the Calendar for Ymiden and Saun 720
Sign-up for Ymiden 720 Event:
This is a low-risk event with the potential to elevate to medium-risk for more danger-seeking and adventurous characters. Your character is unlikely to end up maimed or dead unless they do something as silly and ill advised as jumping into a Grendel's mouth. That said, this is a good chance to cement your place in Melrath lore, by serving Svariella or otherwise.

I'm sorry but I have to withdraw. The situation has changed a bit and I'm going to be too OOC "signed up" to write in an event.

by Navyri
Name/Race/Age: Navyri Nightingale, Naerikk, mid-fifties
Mage: No
If a Mage do you suffer from the Thirst: N/A
Stormtouched?: No
If Stormtouched are you a Mage?: N/A
What is your opinion on Svariella?: Neutral. As a location, Navyri spent some time there while recovering from her time as a prisoner. If referring to the spirit, Navyri has a cautious respect. She believes spirits to be dangerous and powerful, but has only heard rumors of the Lady Svariella and is more interested in making sure that whatever is feasting on these enemies, doesn't turn its eye on other "abnormal" individuals.
On the Stormtouched?: Navyri has a morbid curiosity. She certainty doesn't envy them, knowing what it is like to wake up one day to be physically changed. She would not discriminate against them for their oddities, but depending on the mutation, might find them unappealing to associate with.

All those who aren't dropped out, I'm going to give it a week or two for everyone to get their replies up, then I will try to post again.
