Combat knowledge

If I am learning stuff within the same school do I have to separate knowledge by fighting styles?
I wanted to do unarmed combat but there are many styles. Do I need to specify/keep track of knowledge for each style such as wrestling and brawling? And what summation of knowledge do I use to figure out if I have enough to rank up to competent?

Hey Hinata, it's up to you which unarmed form you want to make your primary. It can be self-defined largely, the unarmed styles on the skills page are largely for flavor, and guidelines to see how useful they are at any given level.
So you could have a self-defined style, brawling, wrestling, call it whatever you like, but your overall unarmed combat skill is what gets counted, along with the overall knowledge.

Just to note, in order to have it established which style you're focusing on, its probably best to properly label the knowledge requests with whatever style you're intending to specialize in.
Unarmed Combat (Ki'enaq) x 4
^^ for instance.

Cool, cool
Do I need to have a self defined style written up to claim it?
