Kain is a man without an anchor. He rarely ever stays in a place for too long, hardly ever sticks with any idea, concept, or anything for extended periods of time. He's restless, always moving. He has a bit of an addictive personality toward new things, but struggles to stick with them. He's quite sociable and enjoys attention, but doesn't like to speak about anything personal to himself. He's a man of thousands of acquaintances and no friends.

Kain was born and raised among the Ej'gwar clan in Ne'haer. He was the middle of seven children, raised equally by his mother and father, both fishermen. All of his siblings, both older and younger left to form their own clans before he did, for he was choosing to just amble by in his clan. But being the last child still around, he eventually felt the weight of the familial responsibility and set out, saying he was going to form his own clan. Of course, he had no intention of doing so, he simply wished to live his own, somewhat lazy and irresponsible life.

He sailed aimlessly along many coasts of the western continent. He rarely ever deviated far. He spent many trials and nights lounging upon the beach, eating when he was hungry, sleeping when he was tired, and then moving on. He would still fish, as it was just something he was good at, and occasionally he'd stop into ports to sell his catch, often spending his money as fast he made it, typically on booze, and sometimes necessary supplies.

He has most recently arrived in Melrath for the first time, and has decided to see if anything there catches his interest before he inevitably raises his sails and moves on.
