Sa’na is 5’2” and weights 120 lbs. She’s a mixed-race woman. Her father is Biqaj, and her mother is Sev’ryn. She has her father’s pointed ears and eyes that change color depending on the sun and her moods. From her mother, she inherited her black hair and lightly-tanned skin.

When she goes out, Sa’na prefers to wear dresses and feels most comfortable with her bare toes in the dirt. A black tree tattoo adorns her upper back, between her shoulder blades. She layers handcrafted jewelry on top of her clothes and is rarely seen without something she created herself.

Sa'na's parents lost her brother before she was born, making them overprotective of their only remaining child. Because of this, she puts on a serious face when her parents are around. She can only relax and be herself when they're not, which is difficult because they all work together.

Her job is important to her. She loves creating jewelry pieces from raw materials. She’ll get caught up in her projects and her clients, leaving little free time.

She’s also very spiritual, spending what little free time she has, in worship, either at home, or in a temple. On rare occasions, when her parents aren’t looking, she loves to have a good time to unwind. That’s when she’ll be at the tavern or hanging out on a boat. Those are the only places she’s able to relax.

Sa’na was born to her parents on the 27th day of Cylus, 695. The couple lost her brother five arcs earlier to an illness he never recovered from. It took her parents a few arcs before they were ready to have another child. When they did, they were blessed that her mother got pregnant quickly and the pregnancy was uneventful.

The young girl lived in the shadow of her brother’s death. Her parents refused to leave her alone. They made sure she was always taken care of, that she ate well, and took care of herself physically to be safe. She also wasn’t allowed to play with anyone who was ever sick, and her paranoid parents worried that everyone had an illness they couldn’t see.

As Sa’na got older, she turned to religion to escape her parents’ control. Houses of worship were the only place she could go without making them worry. She also spent a lot of time on her father’s boat. The only other place her parents didn’t check up on her.

When she was old enough to learn a trade, she skipped school in favor of apprenticeships with both of her parents. She first learned basket weaving and leatherworking from her mother, but those skills didn’t make her heart sing like her father’s jewelry crafting did.

She fell in love with crafting jewelry while she sat with her father, trial after trial and arc after arc, learning everything he could teach her about his craft. Eventually, she was skilled enough and old enough to start helping them out at their merchant shop.

As an adult, Sa’na moved out on her own, into her own house in Rharne, where she currently lives until she saves enough nels to leave.
