Name: Lorogh Lerake
Race: Cadouri
Date of Birth: 53rd of Vhalar 698
Faction: Imperial Legion Infantry (Siege Sub-Branch)
Languages Spoken:
Fluent = Common
Basic = Atvian
A four foot tall Cadouri. His fur is brownish gray, with some dark circles around his eyes, that trail down and up in a diamond formation. His snout is angular and narrow. His physical build is light but muscular.
Brief Personality Details:
Lorogh is a sweet-hearted Cadouri, as many of his kind are, but has a real vicious dislike of banditry and disorderly miscreants. Lorogh has a chivalrous streak, but at the same time is very promiscuous, leaving a trail of lovers in every port that he visits. He doesn't quite understand romantic jealousy, seeing such thinking as being a byproduct of scarcity of affection, which he has in abundance.
He's not as non-violent as many of his kin, but will rarely raise his hand to anyone who isn't asking for it.
Much of Lorogh's childhood was spent in the waterways of Saoire's Dream. He often spent time among the beaver Cadouri of that realm, learning the finer points of construction and woodworking. In time, he came to develop a deep enthusiasm for tools and gadgets that could be used to make interesting feats of engineering. He declared one day to his parents that he would be a gadgeteer and someday make ships that could not only sail fine upon the seas but also sail through the skies.
When the Cadouri were introduced to the wider world of Idalos, Lorogh was among the first to investigate what places he might like to make his permanent home. Not content to stay in Scalvoris, he ventured as far as Melrath and Rharne, roaming far and wide on the oceans and enjoying the experience of being aboard a large vessel more than the destinations he'd visit. When he returned an arc later to Scalvoris, his parents had made for him a fine longcoat of merwool fabric, to protect him from the chill and seaspray he'd often written to them about.
In his travels, he'd heard of many places, but one stood out as a prime candidate for his settlement on a permanent basis. The Eternal Empire sounded like just the place for him to accomplish great things, and so he set off for that distant shore, eventually making a landing on the Northern Reaches of the Empire. There, he joined up with the Imperial Legion in early Vhalar, training in the Siege sub-branch of the Imperial Infantry. He learned valuable skills in that role, and began exploring the fundamentals of alchemy and how it could be applied to the security of the Empire.
Then came Cylus, and he settled down in his new home for the winter, until he'd be called to be restationed in another part of the Empire. He looks forward to the march now.

Lyle Wynfredsson
Name: Lyle Wynfredsson
Race: Human
DoB: 34th of Ashan 693
Biometrics:
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Black
Height: 5'10'
Build: Light
Complexion: Ruddy
Backstory: A simple village smith from Winter's Reach. He never spent more than a couple of arcs in the Imperial Legion as a private but made himself useful as another body for doing everyday tasks, as well as maintaining the weapons and armor of his fellow soldiers. He also did a stint as an Imperial Sapper during the Hotlands war.
These days, he spends his time in his shop, providing small tools and other metalwork for other craftsmen. He's not much of one for smithing whole weapons, but enjoys doing the small work that adds to the major projects of other craftsmen.
Personality: Mild, content with his lot in life, and very even-tempered. He has few ambitions in life, and that suits him fine. He'd prefer to just hoe horses, hammer nails, and craft door hinges for other citizens, and makes a good living doing so. That's enough for him.
He's friendly enough, but can get a bit territorial toward other people taking up smithing. He's easy to please though, if one assures him that they have no intentio nof stopping at nails, hinges, and horseshoes.
