Yludih Religion

Is there anymore info on the Yludih religion than what is in the race writeup. In particular I don't really get what the whole unlocking the binding races part refers to. I intially thought it was in regaurds to unlocking more racial mimic forms but based on the answer to a previous question I asked that doesn't seem to be allowed.

Yludih religion is based upon unlocking the binding races, to create a self-identity and remain in Uleuda longer, until once dead, passage to Uleuda is permanent.

Also one aspect of the religion wtite up seems a bit of a contradiction.

To die and go to Uleuda is called being freed.

Yludih religion is headed by monk like leaders who lead the 'Order of Keys' - they consist of mostly freed monks who are almost ready to enter Uleuda.

If they are freed then that means they are dead and have gone to Uleuda. Yet it says they are freed and almost ready to enter Uleuda which would imply they aren't dead but then how could thwy be freed?

In context, I'd be inclined to read it as mostly-freed monks, i.e. monks that are dying/close to death but not there yet. I defer to the experts though

Hi Denkoh,

I think Dandelion is correct, in that these are 'freed' monks who have yet to die. They've fulfilled all the requirements that are necessaary to move fully onto Uleuda, but have yet to do so because they aren't dead in Idalos yet.

So it's not a contradiction.

As for the religion of the Yludih... It is what it is, until and unless someone takes it upon themselves to expand on it. This is a volunteer-level project, however, I believe.

Best,
