Introduction
Well hello! Looks as though you've stumbled into a goldmine of OoC data, for this is the thread that highlights all the other aspects of Patrick's misadventures! Loads of plans and fun stuff actually goes in here, which is why you'll find an elaborate guide on navigating this thread down below! Everything here is strictly OoC material of course, but you'll find that you can reference quite a lot; especially if you would like to setup any plots or have ideas on ways we can thread together! Ready? Okay! Here we go!

Notes

In our first section you find a compilation of general notes and reminders, things that may need to be done or perhaps even goals and personal challenges that are set in place. There may not be a lot of impressive material here, sure, but believe it or not some of it's quite important. Otherwise who'd be able to remember birthdays, or deadlines for that matter, when you have so much 'everything else' crammed inside your mind. Wait... I mean my mind! Anyways you can use the Notes section to reference any general details!

Plots

Now this is a section worth keeping an eye on! The Pots section gives a more 'in-depth' look at what sort of plots are in line for Scenarios. Each season gets a focus on a Scenario for the character, which is why any story progression ties into what's called the "Main Scenario" for the character.

But of course there are other useful and nifty things to scope out, as it's important to remember how Side Quests help promote character growth... or just provide them with cool materials or fancy gear. There's also quests related to the select few party members at Patrick's disposal, which are comparably side quests also but usually involve PC and NPC activity together.

Homefront

This is a section dedicated to housing, or rather places that the PC has come to live within. While it's possible to own multiple abodes throughout Idalos, this section of the Plotnotes highlights all important information on every owned 'Homestead' under the PC's name. There are also sections which outline the direction of development for each place, which reveal more and more potential upgrades/add-ons that may be added further the PC improves them!

Party Members

A more vivid look into the NPC's that accompany Patrick through his adventures, the Party Members section gives in-depth analytics of what each member is capable of. Naturally every Party Member that can travel with Patrick is able to improve their skills further, which is why this section outlines their prowess as well as what their roles are.

Affinity

Aaaaah, this is a rather important section to check back into later. Any factions that Patrick becomes affiliated with, or simply learns of, will find a spot here. While noting Factions and their importance to the character however, there is also a section dedicated to PC interactions as well.

What does this section entail exactly? Well you may find that Patrick is very opinionated, which becomes reflected in this section after enough interaction has occurred. When Patrick has a solid impression on another PC, that PC collectively builds either a positive or negative influence; impacting their stance with Patrick to the point where they can be his greatest ally or worst enemy. It ultimately falls to the PC and their interactions with Patrick, but you may find that reaching the highest Affinity can really benefit your PC in time.

Encounters

Now this is a rather fun and amusing section! Encounters and Situations is more of a functioning prompt giver, as it involves the use of dice rolls (from Dnd or Pathfinder, you know the like) to determine what sort of situation your PC is given. It's a bit of a fun way to put your character on the spot, and seeing how they carry out the prompt that is given to them.

Plots

Main Scenario

The Way To Dawn
Patrick's fate hangs in the balance at his awaited trial, whatever happens on this day will change everything; ultimately creating a chain of events the moment the die is cast.

Judged By Lightning, Light, and Death. - After narrowly being spared by the Immortals for his crimes, Patrick is now focusing on making reparations for his actions; learning the true value of consequence in the process. Already the path before him proves to be a challenge, nevertheless he fights with a stout heart now; hopeful that he'll be reunited with the one he wants to see most. His son.

The One With All the Answers - Karvon Murdock is not only the man who killed his brother, but a spy planted among the knights when he joined at the time. Now with Dominek crossed over, and the secret he kept revealed to everyone, Patrick's road to redemption will have it's biggest obstacle yet; bringing the man who ruined his life to justice. The question is can Patrick overcome his current obligations, let alone find it in himself to apprehend this sinister man? Or will he let hatred consume him, and fail in his quest to apprehend Karvon?

A Dance of Light and Shadow
The struggle for Patrick to regain his good side begins, taking place deep within the void of Emea. However there's a danger when facing your own darkness, and Patrick has quite the abyss buried inside.

Echoes of Light - Duality. A constant state of balance that should never be disturbed, yet because of his sacrifice within the Cathedral of Dreams; Patrick has managed to accomplish exactly that. Now with his light missing and Qylios' influence aiding him during the day, Patrick must endeavor to repent so that he may find a chance at regaining what he sacrificed.

Whispers in the Dark - Deep within his very being lies an incredible amount of darkness, darkness that's grown from all the horrible experiences he's had to endure. While Patrick could confront and possibly even conquer his darkness, such a monumental task would require him to possess his own light beforehand. Is it also possible that his darkness could exist for a purpose however? Is conquering the only goal Patrick must accomplish? Or is there more to the power of Shadows that meets the eye?

A Close Shave - Open
As a blind man Patrick has found that a great many things are nearly impossible now, one of those things being the ability to trim and cut his own hair. Therefore anyone who is willing to lend a hand, will certainly find him appreciative afterwards. (+Affinity, +1 Personal Favor)

Rharne

Situated just outside the walls of Rharne near Lake Lovalus, this lovely ranch style home was purchased by Patrick in Vhalar 718. It's layout consists of two receiving rooms, one used as a sitting area and the other a kitchen/dining area, and three spare bedrooms with a small washroom as well. The furnishings within are an average quality, with one of the spare rooms kept as a guest room and the other outfitted as an office.

Patrick has slowly been working on improving the upkeep of this place, with much better organization throughout the house as well as a few potted plants here and there. He still has quite a few more home improvement projects to handle.

One dark and chilly Ashan night Patrick discovered a recently wrecked structure within the confines of Rharne's own Dust Quarter, a sobbing little girl lost as she mourned her own pet. Little did he suspect the girl was in fact Syroa in another form... When he attempted to help her find this 'lost pet' and followed her down below, her plan to replace the creature soon came into play shortly after. Seduced and then bitten by the Immortal of Fury, Patrick found himself inflicted with a terribly powerful curse; one that slowly diminished his humanity over time.

The Sessfiend Form

The Nature

Patrick's own nature shares resemblance with that of the animal known as The Lion. A proud and mighty creature of the wilderness that symbolizes leadership and powerful emotion, so powerful that it can be quite difficult to manage them sometimes. The Lion represents physical as well as spiritual strength, assertiveness over those who would follow, as well as personal power that remains dormant within its core. Patrick resembles these qualities with his own nature as well, often proving true to the assertive independence he desperately clings to.

An embodiment of strength, courage, and confidence. The Lion is an animal often referred to as "King" among his pride, and Patrick will easily display this mentality when it comes to friends and lovers alike. He thrives off the love and attention others may feed him, and it's quite often his confident nature vibes cocky and arrogant to some. This is simply the nature of the Cursed however and where nature defines his personality, it also rules the appearance in which his Bestial Form manifests. A twisted and malformed version of The Lion turned into a creature of absolute, chaotic power; dominating the hunting grounds with insanely supernatural predatory instinct.

The Bestial Form

The Manticore. A hybrid with the combination of different physical body components, much like a Chimera, that each represent some aspect of the creature. Firstly the main part of the body is that of The Lion itself, twisted and corrupted into an unnaturally monstrous form. With knife-like fangs within it's maw and razor sharp claws, it remains the physical embodiment of raw, untamed power in it's most corrupt form. From it's belly onward is where the form takes a different appearance, fur recedes as the skin appears enamored in scales over it hide; with the tail of an arachnid being the appendage of the creature. A scorpion's tail is by far it's most lethal and deadly weapon, rich with potent toxins that could subdue or even kill an individual. This tail is the Manticore's third primal weapon and by far least lethal, as the toxins it produces serves more as a paralysis than atual poison.

Progression

While a reflection of the cursed individual's own soul the Sessfiend form wasn't complete for Patrick, just the beginning of the monster he'd truly become from prolonged exposure to the curse. The Rharnian's original form already twisted into the dark and sinister form of the Manticore, each and every transformation would slowly break his soul; and change him into a darker shadow of his former self before too long.

Overtime the Manticore's form evolved with each turn, shaping to reflect the twisted and corrupt form of Patrick's own nature. The first change to appear the subtlest one by far, was a pair of horns on the forehead of the dark lion's forehead. Their appearance marked the beginning of a jaded soul, a fading personality that struggled to keep together the ideal of humanity. An ideal that slowly chipped away piece by piece...

The Serpent Tail was the second variation of the Manticore's evolution, a black undulating tail that physically acted as second mind; The Serpent was the representation of Patrick's isolation and deception to the world, after walking among mortals with the struggle of keeping the secret curse hidden. The tail acted much like the original Scorpion tail, however possessed a threatening power all on it's own. Silvery eyes had the capacity to induce immobilizing fear into those who met the Serpent's gaze, and the Serpent itself was capable of swallowing a full grown man whole; if ever provided the chance.

Powers and Abilities

Supernatural Strength - The Manticore's Lion form was capable of insanely supernatural physical strength, capable of demolishing certain types of structures with it's own claws.

Rapid Regeneration - A Passive Ability that was constantly active once Patrick was turned, Sessfiend could swiftly regenerate damaged tissue with ease, no matter the weapon used to inflict injury upon the chaotic beast. Dismembered limbs require concentration and effort on the beast's part which left it with an open guard, but the Manticore's Rapid Regeneration allowed any removed appendages to regenerate once on the field. The ability could be countered with the effectiveness of mirrors and mirrored weapons, as wounds inflicted by mirrors did not regenerate like any other wound.

Mark of the Hunt - Another Passive Ability that activated once the Manticore was on the prowl, a person who became "Marked" was the object of the Fiend's rage. Usually a close friend or a loved one connected to Patrick, the Manticore utilized sharpened senses to hunt down the individual marked for death.

The Rupturer's Spark - As Patrick bore inside him a Spark of Rupturing, the Sessfiend could also utilize this power deep within; nearly making it the ultimate hunter. Blinking not only covered incredible distances but shook the area around the warp, and abilities such as Roaring were practically amplified from the chaotic influence.

Spiritual Pressure - Awakened from the caged nature of The Manticore once Patrick possessed Ymiden's Band.. Because the artifact prevented turning; it created an adverse effect on the Sessfiend. Dependent on how long since the last turn, a heavy field effect would be generated. The pressure emitted from the Manticore not only felt dark and ominous, but heavy enough to where those affected felt exhausted faster.

Corrosive Bile - A wretched and terrible ability the Sessfiend utilized when in combat. Required the beast to contract and heave with its muscles, therefore created an opening for vulnerable attacks from all around. Corrosive Bile was generated from deep within The Manticore and released through it's maw, appearing as black putrid sludge that dissolved away practically anything it touched.

Fire Spout - The result of using Corrosive Bile to damage the lungs and then regenerate them. The end result produced a filtration chemical within the newly regenerated lungs, that when utilized, would ignite upon oxidation within the air. The Manticore could essentially breathe fire for about five to ten meters, after one deep inhale had been taken in by the beast.
