❝Listen to the trees as they sway in the wind.
Their leaves are telling secrets.
Their bark sings songs of olden days
as it grows around the trunks. ❞

Ambrosia is by far, the smallest Tunawa he knows. He doesn't know if he's the smallest to ever live or anything, but he's certainly an incredibly adorable and petite little guy. He stands at only 4 inches tall, and barely weighs anything at all. A strong wind will easily blow him away if he's not careful, and if he were to climb up your pant leg...well you probably wouldn't even feel it. He's got pale skin like birch wood, and big, expressive blue eyes that make him a bit of an open book. His hair is like strands of wheat in color, though a few shades paler, and he's usually growing a myriad of herbs and spices upon his head to use for his favorite occupation, cooking. Because of this, he always has a lovely, fragrant smell, like his own special type of perfume or cologne. His clothing is very simple, woven out of whatever material is available, be it petals, bark, or even just a bit of scrap cloth too small for tailors to use for regular sized people and Tunawa. He doesn't have any scars or markings marring his skin, though sometimes he will make a design with green dye to put on his shoulder, a pretty swirling pattern that changes each time he does it in small ways, it doesn't last long though, he makes it from plants and its made to be temporary.

Likes cooking, making food from scratch, food smells, freshly baked bread, fresh food, working with others

Dislikes being mistaken for a doll(it happens mostly with lil kids), being treated differently because of his small size in a negative fashion(ie- pity, saying he can't follow his dream because of his size, etc. Helping because he is smaller is different)

Strengths sensitive palate that can detect different flavors, knack for identifying complimentary flavors, growing fresh spices and herbs, good at timing multiple cooking dishes to all finish around the same time

Weaknesses very small, easily knocked over and blown away, can't swim since he floats, fire

Ambrosia is a very likeable person. He's sweet and caring, but he's no pushover. He loves to cook, and his life revolves around anything food related. Cooking, baking, plating food in a particular way, researching new recipes, preparing, if it involves food and its preparation, he adores it. He's very appreciative of farmers and all the work they put in growing plants and raising cattle, and believes in wasting nothing. He'll boil bones for soup, he'll use trimmings for gravy and more. He tries to not let his size come in the way of pursuing his dream. He knows that being so small will make his dream hard, but he refuses to let that bring him down or make him pursue something more 'practical for his size' as many people have tried to convince him to do. He generally gets along well with most people and does not let a person's race determine their likeability. While he may be a bit wary around Aukari, given what fire does to him, he tries to not let that stop a potential friendship from blossoming. He loves his family very much and hopes that as he becomes more successful in his profession, his parents will grow to support him and realize that he can be whatever he wants even if he is very small.

Celynnen and Keenak met when they were but mere sprouts, still new to the world and all it had to offer. Their parents often let them play together when they were younger, and they quickly became fast friends. Keenak had always had a crush on his friend, Celynnen, but was too shy to ever speak up. Luckily for him, Celynnen was not the type to hide her feelings and when she could feel her own heart flutter when she was around him, she walked right up to him the next day and burst out that she wanted to date him. This was while they were 10 arcs old, and before they knew it, they were a couple so close, people wondered when they’d ever not been dating. It was meant to be, and 10 arcs later, they were married. They decided that for their honeymoon, they’d travel a bit, see what else there was to see. As a parting gift from their parents, they were given (through a connection with a Sev’ryn whom they considered a friend and also kept a small sum of money for them) tickets to go on a boat to explore what there was to see off of the place they called home. They took it and with much tear-filled farewells, were off to see the world. They did a lot of traveling, seeing many places over the years and putting off having a child, as they knew it meant having to go back to Desnind, and doing so would make the then restless spirits have to remain there for at least an arc or two. It wasn’t until they were almost 50 arcs and had settled into the city of Rharne that they finally decided it was time. They had lost that restless way that had them all over the world of Idalos (or at least it felt like they’d been everywhere, though they did avoid a few places like Sirothelle for obvious reasons) They weren’t exactly the most responsible when they were younger either, and only got to explore so many places because they would use their smaller size to their advantage and sneak onto boats or into bags that were put on horses.

Ambrosia’s first memory is of a large tree, and the smell of his parents, it was rather dark when he first came into the world, night having fallen when he sprouted. He was able to tell them apart from all the other parents and sprouts, just from that smell. It was like a mix of sunshine and pine needles to him it was just...a warm, comforting smell. They were getting on in age, well over 50 arcs, when they had Ambrosia, but when he first looked up to them with his big, doll like blue eyes, they knew the wait was well worth it. They had held off on having a kid for quite some time, due to their being a fair distance away from Desnind, and the only way to reach their birthplace was to take a boat, which cost 30 gold nels each. They had to save up a fair amount of money just to afford the journey home, and that’s not including the charge to return from Desnind to Rharne after their child was old enough. While they spent the first two arcs raising him back in Desnind with other Tunawa who had sprouts that arc so he had others to play with. Ambrosia remembers his childhood as a sprout pretty clearly. At night, his mother would sing him to sleep with her melodic voice. His father would try and teach him how to fight with little wooden swords, his made extra small and light so he could wield it. He loved his mother's singing, it was so soothing to him, and never failed to calm him down when upset or lull him to sleep. One thing he noticed more than anything else was that he was often not allowed outside to play, despite their staying in Desnind being for his benefit, he was a bit...different, from the other sprouts. After 30 trials, rather than being 1 inch like others, he was only a half inch. And he didn't seem to grow at the same rate as other sprouts either, as he was half the size of other sprouts at 2 inches where they were 4 by the end of his first arc. He just didn't seem to grow at the same rate as other sprouts. Not to mention how little weight he put on as well. A light breeze was enough to have them have to chase after him for fear of him blowing away like a leaf. They had to design clothes for him that had little stones sewn into it so he could go outside and not be blown away as easily. And on windy days, they had him wear a harness and stay attached to either his mother or father if he wanted to go outside so that if he did leave the ground, he wouldn’t fly far away thanks to the leash.

They got by in relative peace, living in Rharne. Sometimes Ambrosia would feel homesick for Desnind, and the other Tunawa he used to play with, on the rare occasion that he could. But he also missed the trees, the rustling of the leaves at night and so on. While his mothers voice was soothing, it had always sounded best when the leaves seemed to be playing in the background to her music. As the arcs went by, he started to notice a bit of a change in his parents. Their movements were stiffer, and it seemed to get harder for them to move around. They’d been saving for this day for some time, and when they were close to 70 arcs, decided it would be good to return to Desnind to live with the rest of their species, or rather where most of them resided. Ambrosia chose to go with them, to make sure they’d be settled and taken care of. He loved his parents dearly despite all times they tried to deter him from his dream, he knew why and he loved them even more for their concern. He had no idea that they had plans in motion, so that upon their arrival, they’d have some of their wood collected in order to start crafting a weapon and a musical instrument to give to Ambrosia. They were made specifically from their wood, rather than just crafted in Rharne, so that blood would sing to blood while he used them, and he’d remember them each time he would use them. It took a bit of private discussing after they arrived in Desnind, which happened while Ambrosia was catching up with some of the other Tunawa he grew up with, but they decided on a small harp that Ambrosia could hold in his hand to remind him of his mother and her singing, and a small leaf blade shaped sword for Ambrosia to remember all the times his father would play with him with the little wooden swords, trying to teach him to fight. Rather than give them to him right away, they sent it ahead of him to Rharne, each with a note for him to open and read. They knew that it would hold more significance that way. He stayed with them for a few trials, making sure they were settled and would be well taken care of, but eventually he had to go back to Rharne, especially after receiving a letter that said he’d been hired to work at a restaurant. Despite having felt the occasional bit of homesickness in Rharne, being in Desnind made him realize that he really loved Rharne, and while there were some things that he loved about being in Desnind, Rharne was where he really wanted to make his home, and he stood a better chance of pursuing his dream in Rharne than Desnind. Due to having to rush back and jump right into working, he wasn’t able to open the presents he found at the house when he got back until a few trials later. When he did open them, he couldn’t help the tears that filled his eyes at the letters. They were heartfelt wishes from his parents, wishing him success in his ventures in life, and hoping the best for him and that, if they were still around when he opened his restaurant, they’d make sure to come visit, no matter how difficult it might be. He immediately wrote a letter back, pouring all of his feelings out onto the paper, letting them know just how happy he was with the gifts, and how much they mean to him. On his own, he wasn’t able to afford to take care of the house and pay all the bills, so he ended up selling it after finding a nice little hollow in a tree to move into. He still needs to get together furniture, and is currently just sleeping on the floor of the hollow, but he still has the corn snake that kept their house free of rats and things to keep him company, so it's not all bad. It's a rather spacious hollow in the tree as well, clearly having been used by some kind of creature as there was evidence of the hollow having been expanded by sharp teeth in terms of width, as well as depth as there was a little tunnel that he could fit into, that led down to another much smaller hollow that he intended to use as a bedroom after he got more situated. For now, he does mostly everything in the top hollow, and spends more time at the restaurant than home anyways, so not having much doesn’t affect him. Any free time he has, he makes sure to practice or at least tend to the items his parents gave him. If he doesn’t have time to practice with the sword or play the harp, he makes time to clean and sharpen and wax them every day, keeping them at the best state as possible. He has the money that came from selling the house still, intending to use it on his new little house when he has the free time to.
