Fantasy RPG Forum - Standing Trials

Hello.

I'm new to Standing Trials and in the CS creation trenches at the moment.

I've RP'd off and on for years and prefer writing based forums such as this one. A long time friend and RP buddy recommended that I give y'all a shot. This place looks wonderful! I can't wait to meet players and start threading. As I'm brand new, I will probably have loads of questions. Thanks in advance for your patience.

Hi there! Welcome To Standing Trials!

I would hope you have loads of questions... would be more worried if you didn't! There's lots of information to take in at the beginning so don't stress yourself trying to learn all of it - I would suggest just learning about your race and chosen starting city, and all the other information will come in time a you RP and learn. No reason to get too bogged down in it all for now!

Any questions will be more than happily answered by any member of staff (though my advice would be to go to someone who moderates your chosen city). And many of the players are also happy to help out! So no shortage of places to get information and advice!

I'm glad you decided to give us a try. I've really enjoyed my time here so far - there are a lot of wonderful writers and plots going on, and it's been great fun developing my own character drama.

I'm looking forward to seeing your completed CS. Hopefully we'll have an opportunity to write with each other in future!
