[Scalvoris Town] Bank of Scalvoris (Scalvoris Town)

The Bank of Scalvoris (Scalvoris Town Branch) sits pretty much in the middle of the town. One of the strange things about Scalvoris Town is the very strange mis-match of buildings which make up the place. Very rarely are there two buildings which look alike and the locals seem to embrace the lack of uniformity with some glee. This means that each building can have it's own 'feel' and the feeling for Scalvoris Bank is imposing. One of the taller buildings in the township, it has large wide doors and high vaulted ceilings.
Since the disappearance of the manager, Lukar, in Arc 721, the Bank is managed by Scalvoris Merchants Guild.
There is a lot of security, both visible and hidden in the Scalvoris Bank. Weapons are forbidden and everyone is searched before entry. Out the back is a small pond which is full of frogs. So the rumour goes, these are the unfortunate souls who have tried to break into the bank previously. Surely, though, that's just a silly rumour....
Rules:
- It doesn't cost any Wealth Points to open a savings account.
- Withdrawals, deposits, and all other services can be accessed at any branch of the bank.
- You can make multiple withdrawals from your savings account per season. However, if you make any withdrawals, your seasonal interest may be affected.
- This Location is open for you to post in: any and all withdrawals, deposits, loans, and interest calculations must be posted with time stamps below.
- You must post during the current cycle. No placeholders, no grandfathered posts.
- Once your post has been recorded in the list of accounts - it will be removed.
- We will add interest seasonally - but see the rule below re: inactive accounts.
- Accounts which have not been active for 2 arcs will be closed and the funds donated to charity.

Wealth Points which are kept in the bank do not count towards your Wealth Tier. They are not part of your lifestyle and should not be in your Wealth Ledger.

Lukar disappeared in Arc 721. : details here - he may not be used as an NPC by players after 38th Ymiden 721. He has been replaced, but his replacement has never been seen.

Other Info: Broka is a loud and boisterous fellow. His booming voice can be heard reverberating through the building and, if you want to discuss something privately, it's probably best that you tell him that first. He appears to be a friendly fellow and he has a good way of being with the customers. He's more inclined to listening sympathetically to someone than his boss, but equally, won't make any exceptions. He likes his job, though, he says that it means that he meets people and gets to spend his trial surrounded by money. Judging by the expensive cut of his clothes and the subtle but expensive touches to what he wears, Broka likes money.
Savings accounts
By depositing your Wealth Points in a savings account here, you are agreeing to the rules of the bank (see Rules), and the bank is agreeing to pay interest on your savings.
Interest rates
Interest rates are calculated seasonally and added per cycle.
Anyone can put Wealth Points in a savings account. However, only savings accounts with 20 Wealth Points (wp) or more will begin to earn seasonal interest; savings accounts with 19wp or less will not earn interest at all.
For every 20wp you have in your savings account, you will earn 1wp seasonally in interest. This equates more or less to a 5% interest rate. This means that
if you have 20-39wp in your savings account, you will earn 1wp in interest,
if you have 40-59wp in your savings account, you will earn 2wp in interest,
if you have 60-79wp in your savings account, you will earn 3wp in interest,
etc.
To determine the amount of interest you will earn for one season, use the equation
total savings = savings + (savings / 20)
where dividing by 20 represents your account's seasonal interest.
The resulting number of wp will always be rounded down to the nearest Wealth Point.
For example, someone with 32wp in their savings would have
total savings = 32wp + (32wp / 20) = 32wp + 1.6wp = 33.6wp rounded down, or 33wp in their savings after adding 1wp of interest.
And remember, parentheses before addition.
Or use the equation

where 1.05 represents your account's seasonal interest.
As before, the resulting number of wp will always be rounded down to the nearest Wealth Point.

If you do not make any payments towards your loan for a full year, your Seasonal Wage (earned via your seasonal Wealth Thread) will be seized by the bank until your loan plus interest is paid in full.
