Using Actual Heralds, parchment and even (gasp) paper!

After a bit of investigating I found out the first newspapers and gazetta's appeared in and around 1400 - 1500 irl, wiki link. It is something that anyone will be able to contribute to, anywhere in the world sending in letters, rumors (true or false). It'll probably require Ae'garn (and you if you are interested) to be building up as a business to be successful.

I thought it a cool direction to take Ae'garn with his inquisitive nature, and in the end it might even produce an actual newspaper document, every cycle, or slightly longer when interesting newsworthy things happen. There are generators online to format the stories. Obviously these things need to be written out by hand by characters and NPCs, unless we can work out some clever gadget to produce them. Heralds could be employed in the major cities, to be screaming the news in your local market place

Love the idea - though it might have to be ST's second newspaper. Rynmere already has the Rynmere Gazette, which is always looking for contributors!

Didn't realise! Okay the second newspaper . At least I know the concept is okay to begin plotting toward. I would be happy to contribute but I am not in the city anymore sadly.

Who knows maybe they can link up at a later date.
