Duncan moved slowly, each step placed with care, his dark gaze assessing the ground before every move. It was cold and frosty, as it always was in Viden, but bright sunlight filtered through the trees and reflected off the snow, simultaneously invigorating and blinding the Ranger. It was perfect weather to hunt deer, the animals out and about in the more favourable Ashan weather,
