Tio made a deal with a long dead king, Avacer, to teach him magic secrets and how to be a king in exchange for half of his lifespan. But Arlo Creed's resulted in Avacer being trapped within Gilgarod. Only when he is free can Tio claim his prize.

Tasha VonDwight was Tio's apprentice and a natural genius at necromancy, until she betrayed him. One day the two of them are destined to meet again.
