==The Oludibo Cikakken==&lt;br /&gt;

In the early arcs, the Oludïbọ Cïkäkkẹn were created in hopes to build a grand city in honor of their mother and savior, Moseke. Initially, this faction was built out of craftsmen. These able bodied carpenters and architects generated plans to build houses in the trees. Eventually, despite having the security from the elements in the form of walls and roofs, they were unable to avoid the treacherous creatures that were drawn from the forest to the collection of mortals. Beasts ravaged their unprotected city. The citizens of the young [[:Category: Desnind|Desnind]] looked to the men and women that had come together to build their city. Desperate, this group turned to [[:Category: Moseke |Moseke]] for guidance.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
As a mother would to her child, Moseke taught these men and women the art of commanding the forest through the use of her blessing. [[:Category: Sevrath |Sevrath]] became a powerful tool to the early builders. Plans were created to draw the trees up from the ground, making them thick and strong. The trunks would be so close together that no mortal or animal would be able to slip past the walls into the city. The cliffs would protect their northern borders while the trees protected their southern borders. In a great display of power drawn from Moseke, five exalted disciples to Moseke came together and made the dream of their breathren a reality. This event marked the true birth of Desnind and the Oludïbọ Cïkäkkẹn.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The literal translation of Oludïbọ Cïkäkkẹn is &amp;quot;tree singers&amp;quot;. There were five Sevrath champions that were taught to have absolute control over nature through Sevrath, spirituality, music, and dance. Dubbed the [[Original Five]] (Tìhawnu Bayi in Xanthean), they were to lead the Oludïbọ Cïkäkkẹn in Desnind&amp;#039;s early arcs. [[Aik&amp;#039;lara]] was a great healer that was interested in protecting the Sev&amp;#039;ryn from disease and injury. [[Visla&amp;#039;ka]] had difficulty finding her own familiar and wished to help those searching for their other half. [[Gilo&amp;#039;rogar]] wished to travel all over Idalos, spreading Moseke&amp;#039;s teachings of life and love. [[Kir&amp;#039;ela]], despite her love for her people and Moseke, wished to live only one life. [[Ubukoo]] was the strongest of them all, interested in securing Desnind and building a safe haven for all Sev&amp;#039;ryn.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Original Five moved forward to establish the faction as the core of Desnind. Since there is no formal government, the Cïkäkkẹn lay down rules for the city. These rules are based on the five main statutes handed down from the Original Five.&lt;br /&gt;

&amp;lt;li&amp;gt;That Which is Dead&amp;lt;/li&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/ul&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/center&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
The Original Five have long since passed away, but the statutes that they created remain. The five branches of the Oludïbọ Cïkäkkẹn have continued to develop and gain influence in the city. The Original Five have been replaced by The Five, each heads of their respective branch. The Five make up the council that presides over important criminal trials, determines guidelines and laws, and distributes resources to those in need. Almost all Sev&amp;#039;ryn respect The Five and their rules as a loose form of Desnind government.&lt;br /&gt;

=The Branches=&lt;br /&gt;

As with most factions across Idalos, the Oludïbọ Cïkäkkẹn feel the need to spread Moseke&amp;#039;s teachings across Idalos. Moseke champions life and nature, balance between the world and mortals. The Cïkäkkẹn believe that Northeners have long since forgotten their relationship with the wild, electing to pursue evolution, technology, and commerce by destroying the world around them. In that process, the Northeners have lost a part of themselves. The Tì’al wish to restore the relationship to those they consider lost and overdeveloped.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==[[Nafaka| The Näfäkä]]==&lt;br /&gt;
The Näfäkä is the defensive and offensive group of the Cïkäkkẹn. Although they maintain the wall and develop buildings within the city, the Näfäkä are the first ones that act when evil threatens their borders. If they become overwhelmed or require help, the other branches will aid them in defending Desnind.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==[[Tsabar| The Tsabar]]==&lt;br /&gt;
The Tsabar believe that the a Sev&amp;#039;ryn is only complete when they have bonded with their familiar. As devoted as they are to Moseke, they have been known to pray to Jesine. As the Mortalborn of dreams, sleep, and imagination, the Tsabar felt it appropriate to ask for entrance into Emea to help their brethren complete themselves. Visla&amp;#039;ka was the Sev&amp;#039;ryn that was the most imaginative, often getting lost in her daydreams alongside her familiar. As one of the original Oludïbọ Cïkäkkẹn, she jumped at the opportunity to unite the lost portion of a Sev&amp;#039;ryn&amp;#039;s soul.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==[[Aik| The Aik]]==&lt;br /&gt;
At the request of Moseke and the other Cïkäkkẹn, Aik&amp;#039;lara Mẹẹd began to teach like-minded individuals the art of healing. Those that wanted to serve the sick flocked to the temple to train and learn beneath her. They wished to prevent disease from sweeping through the forest again. She established the guidelines of health within the city. Aik&amp;#039;lara became known throughout Idalos. The Aik have continued to live by her teachings, long after her death. Over the arcs, the Aik became a powerful healing faction, known by other healing factions throughout Idalos.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
= Aik Volunteers =&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Never Go Alone&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The &amp;#039;Never Go Alone&amp;#039; motto has only recently started gaining that status. It refers to the way the volunteers organize themselves, always in groups, but it also refers to the manner in which a man, animal or nature itself perishes - never alone, always in the presence of companion or even Moseke herself and other Immortals.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
As the name of the group suggests, all of them are members of their own accord and decision and the group is partly managed by the Aik branch. No one gets conscripted into service and members are free to come and go as they like. However, there are some &amp;#039;standards&amp;#039; so to speak for admission. Given the nature and the aim of this group, no everyone may be allowed to join. Since the Aik Volunteers deal with cleansing the forest which has been magically and by other means poisoned, a gardener from an oak next door may not possess all the necessary abilities to be of much help during the cleansing stage. However, a gardener from oak next door with a blessing...that&amp;#039;s a different story.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Aik Volunteers accept anyone with a blessing beneficial to the cause (Moseke&amp;#039;s being the most favoured). Yet, recently, given the troubles, the group has been running into, with hesitation they started accepting mages as well, but those are strictly observed.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Thankfully, everyone is aware of the dangers that lie along the border with the Sick Lands and training is organized for new members. It lasts about half a seasons and during those trials, new members gain the following knowledge - basics of survival in the forest, self-defence, basic bits of knowledge on the dangers they are most likely to face (eg Cazav, Motsin)*&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This training is provided by two branches of the Cikakken. The Aik who teach volunteers first aid, which plants in the forest with help them heal and survive and which will kill them. The Näfäkä then teach the volunteers basics of self-defence and survival in the forest. It is not uncommon for either branch members to join the Volunteers alongside their normal duties.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
After the initial training, volunteers are grouped together. It is unlikely that members of these groups of volunteers will move freely amongst each other. They tend to stick together as they get to know each other and learn to rely on one another. However, a &amp;#039;Regroup&amp;#039; may be called if necessary.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Regroup happens if volunteers from one group disappear and that particular group is no longer seen safe to travel to the Plague zone on its own. On occasions, volunteers will drop off as they realize that it may not be up their alley for whatever reason. Or a volunteer may die or disappear whilst in the Plague zone helping. When a Regroup is called, all volunteers gather and the smaller body gets redistributed amongst the larger ones. So far, Regroup has been necessary only a few times.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Despite the organization from the Aik branch, there are no ranks amongst the volunteers, just jobs and tasks they need to complete together as a team with one clear purpose and aim in mind. However, when an excursion to the Bad Lands happen, each group would be headed by an Aik.&lt;br /&gt;

==[[Mulki| The Mulki]]==&lt;br /&gt;
Not every Sev’ryn wishes to be reborn into their next life. Most often, elders that have lived over a century find a desire to cross over to the spirit world. They have accepted the concept of death and have often paid homage to Famula. Moseke, often saddened by a Sev’ryn’s desire to leave the cycle, allows an elder to pass into the spirit world without qualm. To make this transition easier and complete, as a familiar often accompanies their physical counterpart, this branch of the Oludïbọ Cïkäkkẹn was created. Kir&amp;#039;ela was the first to help Sev&amp;#039;ryn interested in leaving the cycle to pass over to Emea. &lt;br /&gt;

=Appearance:= &lt;br /&gt;
Often seen as a thick smoke-like substance, walking in the forest usually close to the border with the Bad lands. It seems to blend with the darkness and shadows so no one can see it coming. It’s a ghost, it’s a predator. It attacks on sight but it seems to pick its prey based on some yet to be fully explored criteria.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
There are many ways to describe the Motsin for they seem to be as individual as people themselves. But one overarching trait is that they appear as this sort of mirage, a ghost, an apparition.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
They can vary in height from 3’11” to 6’2”. But its size doesn’t seem to impact its strength.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Motsin will often appear out of nowhere, thanks to the fluid shadows that cover its main body. The shadows form a smoke-like outer layer of the Motsin creating the main component of their camouflage.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
However, rumours have it that if one looks well enough and deep enough, they may be able to catch a glimpse of a humanoid shape within the smokes. But as of to-trial, there are no solid accounts of that observation as no one has yet dared or survived an encounter with the Motsin. &lt;br /&gt;
=Lifespan and Development:= &lt;br /&gt;
No one knows how the Motsin are born. They come and go as they like, when they like and there is not that many of them it is said. Any tracking proves almost impossible, even harder than tracking animals like Etojere. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
There is a theory of how they may be birthed. After a Motsin has fed on a human and the Motsin considers the human impure enough, the dead body will receive a fraction of Motsin&amp;#039;s own flesh so that it undergoes a transformation and becomes a Motsin. But that&amp;#039;s all it is. Just a theory.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It is also unknown whether the Motsin grow in size if they&amp;#039;re small, or how they age. But many a locals would tell you that the same Motsins have been roaming the Lori for hundreds of arcs.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The death of a Motsin is but a hope for any hunter. So far, no Motsin has been caught and examined. Neither have any hunters who claim to have escaped a Motsin shown proof of their victory.&lt;br /&gt;
=Diet:=&lt;br /&gt;
Motsin seem to only hunt people as they ignore any other animal. Some say they feed on people&amp;#039;s souls. Others say they feed on the bodies where they also plant a part of themselves to birth new Motsin. However, a Motsin may seize a group of people, but will start feeding only on the worst one of them all. The most corrupt and impure in spirit. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
There is but a few accounts of that theory speaking of those exiled from Desnind who have been followed. When a Motsin appeared, without a hesitation it locked the criminal in place and commenced its feast. The accounts describe the scene as that of a nightmare. Motsin&amp;#039;s shadow layer would flair up and out, turning sinister hues of blue like pulsating veins. It would approach its prey which by that point lost control of its body and cannot move. Some accounts call it the &amp;#039;Motsin Grasp&amp;#039;. Then the moment the shadows touch the prey, a shriek spreads through the area. A mix of animal and human scream that speaks of pains and hurts beyond that of the physical. Accounts call this the &amp;#039;Cleansing&amp;#039;. The Motsin then envelops its prey in the shadows, disappearing it away from sight. The accounts end there as whoever has observed was too frightened to risk their own life for the knowledge. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Then there is the corruption in the bad land which they seem to feed on too. Motsin seems to be the only creature able to absorb the disease from the Bad land and purify the ground in the process. It would arrive at the border and step in just a few paces. Its shadow layer flairs up and turns sinister hues of blue like pulsating veins and touches everything around itself. So far, there are only a few accounts of sightings and only by the pure Aik who have not yet stepped into the Bad lands. One account speaks of an Aik within the Bad land that the Motsin grasped but released. That Aik, is still in coma to-trial, almost thirty arcs after the incident. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
So why don’t they only survive on the corruption from the land and leave people alone? No one knows, but some think it may have to do either with nutrients or reproduction.&lt;br /&gt;
=History:= &lt;br /&gt;
No one knows where this creature came from, but everybody knows it has been in the forest for as long as anyone can remember. Some say, it just appeared right after Moseke put up the wards and from that people believe that Motsins are the souls of the deceased, of those trapped behind the wards. And so these Motsins are looking for a way to the beyond but are bound to Idalos with their extreme hate towards the plague and anything impure or corrupted. Be that the land itself, or people.&lt;br /&gt;
=Temperament:= &lt;br /&gt;
Unpredictable at best, focused at worst. Motsin don’t seem to have a territory they guard or take for their own. Hence you could be walking over an area free of this creature but suddenly it might pop up and decide you’re its dinner.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It is said that nothing can help you once a Motsin locks you in place. That’s when they are focused. That’s when they’ve caught their prey to feast and their shadows flair up.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Despite all of this, however, the Motsin is not an aggressive apex predator, but remains on top of the food chain for its abilities which makes it hard to kill.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
=Abilities:= &lt;br /&gt;
Camouflage - its form blends extremely well into its surroundings and shadows, hiding its movements.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Silent step - like a cat walking around, the Motsin almost seems to float through the Lori.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Motsin&amp;#039;s Grasp - a form of paralysis induced either through something the Motsin secretes into the air, or by locking your eyes with its gaze. Either way once you feel you are losing control over your limbs, the effect of paralysis are taking place and no one has yet escaped that.&lt;br /&gt;

Cleansing - absorbing corruption and replacing it with purity.&lt;br /&gt;

Slender long body with fur underneath the chin, running from the top of the head and down the neck, covering the whole tail or just end tail and it is also present on the back of the joints on each leg. This fur seems to cover a base layer of soft scales since the older an Ẹtojẹrẹ gets, the fur seems to fall away as if petted of by a palm of a hand, revealing the scales beneath. Usually the scales are of a much radiant shade than the fur itself. For example, fur may be dirty white colored, but scales are of brilliant white. In fact, the colors of the fur are all within the natural color spectrum - from blacks and whites, to greens, browns and even some blues. There has never been a report of pinks, purples and other color that would make it impossible for the animal to camouflage in the forest.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It is extremely rare to see an Ẹtojẹrẹ with antlers but there are rumours of sightings. Usually observed on very old members who are more scale than fur. The presence of these antlers seems to alleviate the status of an Ẹtojẹrẹ into that of nobility.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
They also possess fierce looking claws on all 4 of their feet that would be able to tear through flesh like knife through butter. Despite possessing a fearsome set of claws on the front and back legs, they never use them. Almost as if they didn’t know how! The only time an Ẹtojẹrẹ would bear those murder weapons is only if an offspring is in danger. At that point you do not want to be in the mother’s way for she will cut you down even if she were to lose her life over it. They quite frankly...go berserk.&lt;br /&gt;
=Lifespan and Development:= &lt;br /&gt;
Ẹtojẹrẹ generally live as per the following - males are loners and only socialise during mating season. Female always stay with their child. If the offspring is female, it will stay with its mother until the mating season when a male would approach at which point the mother and daughter will separate. If it is a male, he will leave the mother during the first mating season he will experience after maturing.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
During the mating season, it is not uncommon that a strange ceremony of passing over can be observed. It is when the male would present himself, making guttural noises resembling that of soft, and gentle growling or bubbling as he would bend his front legs to bow to the pair of females. In this way, he can display the flow of his coat, the litheness of his body. The mother would then walk around the male as if assessing if he was a fit enough match for her daughter. If the mother is satisfied the daughter is allowed to approach and the mother usually walks off at that point. If a female is alone, the male still does the same presentation and the lone female walks around him and makes a decision then. If happy with what she sees, she will stay, if not she will walk away. The male can choose to chase and try as many times as it takes before the female gets irritated and displays minor signs of aggression, or the male decides to find his luck elsewhere.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It is reported that this creature can live for hundreds of arcs but usually falls prey to either a predator in the wild or a clever hunter who can track them through the forest quietly enough and release a silent shot for an instant kill. Despite the drive for survival, Ẹtojẹrẹ matures at 17 arcs by which time both genders would have grown to their full size. The gestation period is rather short however, since lone mothers are an easier prey. It lasts only 3 seasons where the offspring when born is usually mere meter long.&lt;br /&gt;
=Diet:=&lt;br /&gt;
When it comes to the eating habits of this creature, they are herbivores. They despise meat to the point that if they find a carcass in the forest, they will attempt to cover it in dirt (which is the only other time when they would use their claws).&lt;br /&gt;
=History:= &lt;br /&gt;
Ẹtojẹrẹ is a combination of two words - ẹto and jẹrẹ - which together can be roughly translated as Vanishing Promise.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Ẹtojẹrẹ has been in the forest for as long as anyone can remember. It is believed that they are many things - carriers of deceased spirits, magical creatures that can fulfil wishes if captured, guides to hidden treasures. As such, some people would leave ‘offerings’ to these animals in hopes they would win their favour. It is also said that perhaps instead of pursuing an Ẹtojẹrẹ it is better to simply make your wish upon seeing one.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
One thing is for sure, however. Since many have tried to capture these beasts in the past and those who were captured were mistreated mainly by non-Sev’ryn races. Ẹtojẹrẹ have grown shy and wary. Yet, they seem to be able to recognize the race of a who is approaching them. They would still run away but they will linger around only a trill longer if they sense a Sevir in their vicinity.&lt;br /&gt;
=Temperament:= &lt;br /&gt;
As mentioned above, Ẹtojẹrẹ is an extremely skittish. Having been hunted for its fur, meat, and supposed abilities or even to be simply domesticated, the animal has learnt how to spot anomalies in the forest. With an extremely well developed hearing, it is rumoured that it can hear the grass grow. It is also said to possess a sixth sense for intent. Hence, it will dash for cover at the first hint of an approach by a hostile. But it may linger around if it senses a neutral or a kind creature in its vicinity. The area its sense cover has not yet been determined.&lt;br /&gt;
=Abilities:= &lt;br /&gt;
Extremely sensitive hearing - Able to hear and distinguish sounds throughout the forest at what appears to be great distances.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Character judgement - Almost like sixth sense, they know when someone is good or bad and will act accordingly.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Murderous claws - Used rarely, but when baren and in attack, Ẹtojẹrẹ will use its agility to its advantage.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Agility, stealth and speed - Able to move through the forest at incredible speeds quietly. Dodging and dashing, weaving through the trees and all, it appears they know the Lori by hear, know the location of each plant precise&lt;br /&gt;

Long cold days leave the world in a constant state of twilight. Living outdoors becomes extremely difficult due to the icy temperatures and flora and fauna suffer during this time. Grass dies making livestock, who need to eat more to survive the harsh conditions, difficult to feed, and a lot of trees fall into dormancy, slowing down their metabolism and energy consumption in order to survive the season until the sun comes up again.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
While the days slowly tick on, the sun begins to sink to the horizon before finally being blocked by one of Idalos&amp;#039; slow orbiting moons. The stationary effect of this moon, however, is partly due to the Ellune and their dormant ruler, Treid. His influence over the moons, and his less than favorable views of Faldrun, prevent the moon from showing any light for 30 trials. A curse he enacted to punish Faldrun for his backhanded and wicked ways, Treid was incapacitated by Audrae before he could remove it. Now the world suffers sunless for 30 trials an Arc, until the light of Ashan touches it once more.&amp;lt;/div&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/div&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Being far in the south, Desnind rarely experiences extremes of weather, but this Cylus sees snow, sleet and freezing rain.&lt;br /&gt;
* 9th Cylus: The snow starts to fall. It&amp;#039;s late this arc but, when it falls it comes down hard and heavy. &lt;br /&gt;
* 15th - 17th: Blizzard &lt;br /&gt;

The first few weeks of Ashan are rigidly cold. Though the sun finally makes its appearance from Cylus, it takes many trials before the ice melts away into puddles, blooming flowers and grass. Ashan experiences a cold period, lasting for a quarter of the season before the temperature finally heats up enough to begin sowing crops for the Arc. Ashan is mainly known for it&amp;#039;s spring weather, gentle breezes, and the rebirth of plant life. Barren trees slowly sprout buds of leaves and flowers, releasing a green haze of pollen while green grass grows slowly from the wet soil. Dead leaves from the previous season are swallowed up during this cycle, providing nutrients for new life growing from the ground.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Ashan lasts a total of 123 trials (days) while experiencing pretty moderate weather. Later in the season, rain clouds become a common thing, depending on the environment. The temperature begins to heat up while the green haze of pollen dies away and the budding plant life fully sprouts into bushy trees, thick grass, and lively, colorful flowers. As the season closes, the temperature rises, ushering in stronger storms and much hotter weather.&amp;lt;/div&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/div&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

* 2nd - freezing rain falls on Desnind almost as if Ashan has not arrived at all. Hale the size of thumb nail shower down for a few bits.&lt;br /&gt;
* 35th - all the snow is gone, even in the darkest underbushes. Desnind citizens can now proclaim that the Rebirth cycle has truly begun&lt;br /&gt;
* 48th - temperatures continue to rise and it is now possible to leave the furs at home, although an underlayer is still welcome to keep citizens comfortable&lt;br /&gt;
* 70th - 73rd - warm showers take place in the promise of rainy season that comes at the end of Ashan&lt;br /&gt;
* 111th - heavy rain usurps the land and doesn&amp;#039;t let up, soaking into the ground&lt;br /&gt;
* 112th - heavy rains continue and the ground is starting to find it hard to absorb all the water&lt;br /&gt;
* 113th - 116th - parts of Desnind flood and they continue to flood until the raining subsides around the 115th and ends abruptly on 116th. There are severe damages to the ground level of Desnind and some of the upper levels too. The highest level of Desnind is the least damaged.&lt;br /&gt;

Whilst it is not uncommon for this to occur during this season and many know it be dangerous to venture to the Lori during Cylus, it still makes the skin crawl when not one, but many experienced Sev&amp;#039;ryn do not come home. Search parties sent out do not return either.&lt;br /&gt;

ASHAN&lt;br /&gt;

From the very first incident it is clear that something unusual is happening. These animals don&amp;#039;t look right. Some have been part mauled. Some have that unhinged look about them. All of them carry the foul stench of the Bad Lands. They come suddenly in herds or alone. They attack without logic or coordination, but then always retreat en masse. It is almost as if something, or someone, was sending out scouts to see the durability of Desnind&amp;#039;s defences.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
* 35th - &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;quot;Spectral visions&amp;quot;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (modded case by case) - Strange sightings are observed. Mirages of humanoid shape are seen along the walls of Desnind. At first the alarm sounds and fears of Motsin attack take hold of the city. However, those are quickly disproved as a group of brave Nafaka head to investigate. Their report is mixed and inconsistent. Some refuse to give details altogether, but there is a running thread through it all. The Nafaka members believe that ghosts have arrived. What do they want or why they are there? No one can tell for sure, but an air of tension hangs about them.&lt;br /&gt;

* 40th - A scout rushes into Desnind, horror on her face. The Bad Lands have spread miles past the safety posts. Something has accelerated its advance and the furthest borders which used to be 7 trials ride are now only 3 trials away.&lt;br /&gt;

* 21st - 29th - Citizens of Desnind notice sudden spike in disappearances. Whoever ventures past the walls during these trials is less likely to return. Whilst it is not uncommon for this to occur during this season and many know it be dangerous to venture to the Lori during Cylus, it still makes the skin crawl when not one, but many experienced Sev&amp;#039;ryn do not come home. Search parties sent out do not return either.&lt;br /&gt;

ASHAN&lt;br /&gt;
* 15th - 18th - &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;quot;Disease on our doorstep&amp;quot;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (self-modded) - Series of random animal attack threatens the walls of Desnind. From the very first incident it is clear that something unusual is happening. These animals don&amp;#039;t look right. Some have been part mauled. Some have that unhinged look about them. All of them carry the foul stench of the Bad Lands. They come suddenly in herds or alone. They attack without logic or coordination, but then always retreat en masse. It is almost as if something, or someone, was sending out scouts to see the durability of Desnind&amp;#039;s defences.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
* 35th - &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;quot;Spectral visions&amp;quot;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (modded case by case) - Strange sightings are observed. Mirages of humanoid shape are seen along the walls of Desnind. At first the alarm sounds and fears of Motsin attack take hold of the city. However, those are quickly disproved as a group of brave Nafaka head to investigate. Their report is mixed and inconsistent. Some refuse to give details altogether, but there is a running thread through it all. The Nafaka members believe that ghosts have arrived. What do they want or why they are there? No one can tell for sure, but an air of tension hangs about them.&lt;br /&gt;

* 40th - A scout rushes into Desnind, horror on her face. The Bad Lands have spread miles past the safety posts. Something has accelerated its advance and the furthest borders which used to be 7 trials ride are now only 3 trials away.&lt;br /&gt;

This festival celebrates awakening of the nature. Preparations for this festival begin with the first trial when sun returns to the world and the darkness is broken. By the time the festival takes place, snow has melted away and the first sprouts of green can be seen all over the place.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Preparations for the festival aren&amp;#039;t complicated or complex but they are highly individual. Each Sev&amp;#039;ryn is given time to find something old from the last arc. It can be an old piece of equipment, clothing, or even an aged plant they have been caring for. Throughout the 31st trial, these items are taken outside and left in the warming sun ideally near a place where a fresh growth is spotted. It is meant to rejuvenate the item and indirectly rejuvenate the possessor.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This is also a day for professions that work with nature. Healers and crafters will venture into the Lori and look for new sources of herbs, or other material they work with. They will spend some time &amp;#039;priming&amp;#039; the location. In other words, they will pray to Moseke and the forest itself for a permission to take from that location.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
At the end of the trial, Sev&amp;#039;ryn come together for an evening that begins low but with progress gets more energetic. It symbolises the process of coming out of hibernation.&lt;br /&gt;

Long cold days leave the world in a constant state of twilight. Living outdoors becomes extremely difficult due to the icy temperatures and flora and fauna suffer during this time. Grass dies making livestock, who need to eat more to survive the harsh conditions, difficult to feed, and a lot of trees fall into dormancy, slowing down their metabolism and energy consumption in order to survive the season until the sun comes up again.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
While the days slowly tick on, the sun begins to sink to the horizon before finally being blocked by one of Idalos&amp;#039; slow orbiting moons. The stationary effect of this moon, however, is partly due to the Ellune and their dormant ruler, Treid. His influence over the moons, and his less than favorable views of Faldrun, prevent the moon from showing any light for 30 trials. A curse he enacted to punish Faldrun for his backhanded and wicked ways, Treid was incapacitated by Audrae before he could remove it. Now the world suffers sunless for 30 trials an Arc, until the light of Ashan touches it once more.&amp;lt;/div&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/div&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Ashan experiences a cold period, lasting for a quarter of the season before the temperature finally heats up enough to begin sowing crops for the Arc. Ashan is mainly known for it&amp;#039;s spring weather, gentle breezes, and the rebirth of plant life. Barren trees slowly sprout buds of leaves and flowers, releasing a green haze of pollen while green grass grows slowly from the wet soil. Dead leaves from the previous season are swallowed up during this cycle, providing nutrients for new life growing from the ground.&lt;br /&gt;

Purple Night is known to be the flower of love in Desnind. Blooming at night the purple rose seems to almost glow in the moonlight, there is one night of the month that it will not bloom. The night of the new moon when there is no moonlight in the sky. During the day the buds stay closed hiding the beauty away from the sun light. &lt;br /&gt;

Purple Night grows all over Desnind; the stems grow all over the trees much like climbing ivy. They grow all the way up into the top of the canopies of the trees in the city. It is very rare, but there are even some that grow in the swamps outside the city. &lt;br /&gt;

The Purple Night is a beautiful purple colored rose with a hint of pink at the edge of the petals and a solid black stem.&lt;br /&gt;

Fecrier aka &amp;quot;Rash Cups&amp;quot;.  Though it looks beautiful the flower hides a very mischievous secret. It has gained the name Rash Cups. One day a group of children were playing at the edge of the swamp and brushed against the flowers getting the pollen all over themselves. Thinking nothing of it they returned home, several hours later the little ones were covered in a blistering red rash that seemed to come out of nowhere. It took nearly a day for the doctors to get the children to tell them where they had been that day. Once they found out about the strange plant, several blooms were collected and a healing salve was made from the cups of the leaves.&lt;br /&gt;

Fecriers are found on the outside of the city limits growing at the very beginning of the swamps&lt;br /&gt;
