-[[Pieren]], one of the [[:Category:Originals| Originals]], created Ælig to control the Domains of llusion, Mimicry and Chaos. Due to factors currently unknown, his creation had unexpected results;  Ælig was designed, as were all Immortals, but it seemed that his very Domains turned on him. He was left horribly disfigured, both in his true Emean form and his physical avatar.On Idalos, his avatar began as a mere sack of bones, he smelled of a rotten corpse and he was faceless, and this was mirrored in his Emean self, also. Even more perplexing to his peers and creator, Ælig either does not or can not change his physical or Emean form. As a result, Ælig was considered too horrific for the rest of his siblings and was avoided immediately by all of his family with the exception of his creator, Pieren. While [[:Category: Delroth |Delroth]] and [[:Category: Edasha|Edasha]] fought for attention, Ælig would also try to fit in the only way he knew how. Without a face in either Idalos or Emea, he could not speak, so he began to create entire illusions of a scene where he would become his two siblings, copying how they behaved exactly. The scene itself was accurate, but to the eyes of his brother and sister, it infuriated them that they were mimicked in this way. Ælig was told by his siblings he would pay dearly if he attempted such an act again which left him confused.
