		+	<p style="font-size:14px;">Born from Anox's desire to bring strife and conflict, Belaera quickly estranged itself from its siblings. Strange and resented, its siblings found it repulsive from the beginning. Anox, who cared only for war, saw use in its ability and desire to imprison, but found its demeanor and philosophy to be weak.

		+	But Belaera was not weak. It was a balancing force, created by Anox to imprison but prone to imprisoning even those winning. Belaera's domain of Sacrifice pushed it to the power it had just before its self imprison, which was done from self-preservation and the sacrifice of immense power for longevity. Belaera understood Anox's warlike demeanor, but found in itself only the desire to be both strong and weak, to give and take in equal measure.

		+	Belaera's imprisonment in the Misty Miasma was one of its own choice, and the location meant as much as the imprisonment. The Miasma, where the bones of its numerous brethren laid, became the location of its resting place. Hidden beneath a seal, Belaera made an oath in the ancient language that the first to free its and sacrifice for its power would garner the blessing of Miirduz, and the power to balance the world through imprisonment and sacrifice.

		+	Its time in the Miasma was long and dreadful, causing the Immortal to grow bored from within its prison. Using its immense power, it drew souls to the Miasma, offering them chances to sacrifice for it, to free it from its imprisonment and gain a wealth of power. Hundreds of adventurers, from the wealthy to the poor, the virtuous to the unscrupulous came to attempt to release it from its prison, to break the seal and take onto themselves the burden of Belaera's very nature. To walk the dual line between all things, to be a force of balance against all odds...

		+	A Naerikk named Navyri was the one to free Belaera, to unleash upon the world its balancing force. Belaera, loathe to give the power of Miirduz so hastily, despite its oath, chose instead to grant Navyri with another gift. The gift had been given in another's attempt to curry the Immortal's favour, but instead laid ignored for centuries. Upon its gifting, Belaera emerged from its long-imposed prison and sent Navyri from the Miasma to carry on in its name.

		+	=Appearance=
		+	<p style="font-size:14px;">Belaera takes two forms, and two only. On one hand, it appears as a large man in red robes, with a mask covering his face but a swirling moustache painted on its blank features. The Man in Red towers over all other mortal races, even the Lotharro, and could be considered room-filling with its presence. The second form is the Woman in Blue, a short and stocky woman whose face is covered with a mask with painted features to look promiscuous and innocent at the same time. She is small and unassuming, and often the form Belaera takes to draw someone in. </p>

		+	=Memories of the Past=
		+	<p style="font-size:14px;">Anox's penchant for war was bred into Belaera, but not for the same reasons. The war the Immortals fought over the mortals was one that Belaera could not participate in, and was the reason it locked itself away. Battling its own dual nature, Belaera nearly Shattered during the war, and its truest form can be seen with small rivulets of Fracturing. </p>

		+	=Presently=
		+	<p style="font-size:14px;">Belaera is currently at large, unwilling to reveal itself but also watching the state of the world closely. When a warrior sacrifices himself for his comrades, it's there. When a mother for her child, it's there. When the shackled man cries out for a way of escape, Belaera is there... Always taking the sacrifice, and providing something in return. Usually something terrible.</p>

		+	=Relationships with Other Immortals=
		+
		+	Belaera does not have a good relationship with the other Immortals. The strange masked being is considered untrustworthy by many of the Immortals, due to its dual nature. However, Faldrun has been working to gain Belaera's favor of late, as the Immortal of Flame sees much of use in his sibling. In addition, there is a strong enmity between Belaera and Ymiden, as the Immortal of Freedom finds himself, by nature, in opposition to the Immortal of Imprisonment.

		+	=Opinions on Magic=
		+
		+	Belaera has only recently discovered magic, due to its long imprisonment. The masked Immortal is fascinated by this power, but is wary of it. Belaera encourages those who already serve it to learn magic, but is wary of marking anyone who already possesses the power of the Spark, though it has done so for those who have done it service and shown it loyalty.

		+	=Opinions on Mortals=
		+
		+	Belaera has an odd fondness for Mortals, despite its affiliation with the Pro-Immortal side of the war. The Masked Immortal does believe that the care of Idalos, including Mortals, is part of the duty that the Immortals inherited when the Originals were destroyed. However, it also believes that Immortals should rule over Mortals, unchallenged and unquestioned, as they are by far the superior beings.

		+	=Racial Specifics=
		+
		+	The only race that Belaera has a specific feeling for is the Ithecal. Perhaps due to its long self-imprisonment, the Masked Immortal recognizes the Ithecal as the heirs of the Dragons and distrusts their willingness to work with Immortals. It also finds their tendency towards honesty irritating, as Belaera believes that no one who is that honest isn't hiding something.

		+	=Worship=
		+
		+	Like its allies, Belaera demands worship from its followers, but it isn't particularly specific about what form that worship should take. In the past, worship has taken the form of self-imprisonment or imprisonment of others, or even forms of sacrifice. Some of the darker whispers surrounding Belaera believe that it introduced the concept of human sacrifice into the world as a form of worship it desired, but while this is a form of worship it accepts, it is not one that it demands.
