Please refer to the tables below for identification of availability per Wealth Tier. Per Tier, assume that you have access to enough food on a trial by trial basis to feed one person.

<ul>
<li>For 1 <a href="/wiki/index.php?title=Wealth_Points" title="Wealth Points"> Wealth Point</a>, you may buy up to <b>ten</b> meals / dishes made from items or ingredients <b>one</b> Wealth Tier above your own. These cost 1 WP whether you buy one meal / dish or ten. You may make this purchase as many times as you wish, and it always costs the same.</li>
<p><br />
</p>
<li>For 1 <a href="/wiki/index.php?title=Wealth_Points" title="Wealth Points">Wealth Point</a>, you may buy up to <b>four</b> meals / dishes made from items or ingredients <b>two</b> Wealth Tiers above your own. These cost 1 WP whether you buy one meal / dish or four. You may make this purchase as many times as you wish, and it always costs the same.</li>
<p><br />
</p>
<li>For 2 <a href="/wiki/index.php?title=Wealth_Points" title="Wealth Points">Wealth Points</a>, you may buy up to <b>four</b> meals / dishes made from items or ingredients <b>three</b> Wealth Tiers above your own. These cost 2 WP whether you buy one meal / dish or four. You may make this purchase as many times as you wish, and it always costs the same.</li>
<p><br />
</p>
<li>Each Wealth Tier above your own thereafter will cost another <a href="/wiki/index.php?title=Wealth_Points" title="Wealth Points">Wealth Point</a> for <b>four</b> meals / dishes. For example, for <b>5</b> Wealth Points, you may buy up to four meals / dishes made from items or ingredients <b>six</b> Wealth Tiers above your own. You may make these purchases as many times as you wish, and it always costs the same.</li>

Players can buy most of these items from their city's marketplace. It is up to each individual player as to whether or not their PC is hunting for or cooking their own food or purchasing it at markets or restaurants. It is important that you consider your regional variations when thinking about what your PC eats / cooks / buys. Seasons and availability will make a massive difference. Please note that the examples included here are real world examples and are meant to give you, the player, an idea of what is available. However, as Idalos is a fantasy setting, please check your city resources and be aware of the more unusual ingredients you may utilize.

So you can code it either longhand or shorthand? Is that what you mean? Lol I know absolutely nothing about this. My experience with coding was c++ like five or six years ago in an into to c++ course. Which I was okay with at the time, but uh, my memory doesn't go that far back. And the course had nothing to do with html.Pegasus wrote:Looks fine - but will look again tomorrow with less tired eyes. FYI cos it might be easier.

* back to first.
# numbered list
## same applies.
'''bold''' ( 3 x ' )
Hope that helps!

Yep. <b> this is text <b> produces the same as '''this is text'''Quio wrote: Sun Jan 20, 2019 2:51 am So you can code it either longhand or shorthand? Is that what you mean? But like you're saying instead of putting <b>text here</b> I could put '''text here'''?

There is now a price on the metals themselves, where you can purchase 1 wealth tier above your current at 2 wealth points. You are allowed to purchase up to a total of 50 ingots per season. Anything 2 or more wealth tiers above your current are inaccessible. It works the same for weapons and armour. Those three sections work together, since most players won't be buying ingots without some form of weapon or armour included.Rakvald wrote: Sun Jan 20, 2019 2:47 am So I'm wondering about the whole calculations for weapons. In the guide it says:
In order to "upgrade" a weapon to another metal choice, simply take 1/2 of the Ingot Cost + Original Weapon Tier (Without Quality Modifiers).
So, am I take take half of the ingot's wealth tier, or half the price to purchase it and add it to the original weapon's tier?

That works really well.

What about packages which include "take a tier X weapon/armor"?Kesindir wrote: Sun Jan 20, 2019 1:17 pm Since most things 2 or more tiers above you are inaccessible, you can use some of the quality modifiers to buy above that limit. Let's say you are Tier 4. You only have leather armour, studded leather armour, and shields available to you since there are no tier 5 armours. Let's say you wanted some chainmail armour. If you take them as poor quality (-1 to the listed wealth tier) they then become Tier 5, which you can afford, at 2wp. Weapons work the same way. Tier 4 PC has access to quite a few weapons, but not some of the more fancy metals, like Adamantite for example. Let's see if we can't get this PC something...better than say, the little dagger he walked out of the dungeons with, yeah? Longsword is tier 6. If we take a poor quality one, it's now tier 5 and costs us 2 wps. Let's add in a different metal so it isn't a standard iron longsword. How about an Embersteel one? That's tier 5 as well, so another 2wps. So for a Poor Embersteel Longsword, our Tier 4 PC would have to pay 4wps in total. Not bad, considering.
