12th of Cylus arc 719, Morning
Waking in the cold morning in his tent, Wald began to get ready not just to hunt but to leave this campsite finally. Using the last of his fuel in the fire to keep him warm for the time he needs for packing his things. First was his tent he took down and packed it onto the cart for travel careful not to harm it with anything. After putting the tent up he lifted his chest of his belonging onto the cart. During this activity his body reminded him to make something to eat. As always he made a simple grainy meal with very little effort. While the meal was cooking Wald double checked his goods, making a not to use the tent to cover the items. He then woke his horse to put the saddle bags on. This time it weighed more then she was use to since most of the eating equipment was stored in the bags to make room for the beavers he was going to catch.
Sitting down for a moment Wald looked at the empty site and the walls he had made. He began to think he should make walls like this more often since they kept the wind out. After finishing his meal he got the donkey hooked up to the cart and tied the horses and donkey together so they wouldn't run apart from each other. This was needed because he was going to take them to the hunting site and he needed them to stay still. Before heading out he used his hatchet to break open the ice once more so the three can drink. The cold liquid was very refreshing and chilled him enough to make him shiver for a moment.
Walking with his animals and worldly belonging down the river was quite slow as the cart got stuck a few times on rocks hidden under the snow. After a break they arrived Wald walked his animals into a small area behind the trees to keep them out of the way. After placing some hay in front of them so they can eat he walked off to get the trap set. Lifting his wooden wall he created and left he double checked to make sure everything was in order. Lucky for him everything was and he proceeded to the slot he made in the ice for it. The ice froze slightly over with a thin layer, but that was not a problem as he let the wall fall and break the ice. He blocked the water entrance for the beavers leaving only one on the surface where he had made a trench.
Wald placed all his camp traps around the trench to make sure he got all the beavers even if they got out. In the final moments before he started, taking this moment Wald thanked them for their hide and flesh.

Re: [Outlands] My Kingdom in the Snow [Finaly]
12th of Cylus arc 719, Noon
The sun came out which signaled the beginning of the hunt. Asking for forgiveness he took a match out of his pocket and lit a fire on the back end of the dam as he ran to ready his bow in front of the trench. Doing a jog backwards watching the hole where the beavers would have to escape to ensure he would see them before they saw him. He got back a fair distance before the smoke started to exit the dam's entrance. Pulling his string after notching an arrow he saw the first beaver hurry out. Taking his shot quickly he nailed it in the head as it collapsed just outside the hole causing a blockage. Getting the next arrow ready he watched as another beaver crawled over his family member to get to safety trying to get over the trench. The beaver slipped from the side of the wall landing on its back. Wald shot his arrow into the beavers soft underbelly causing it to screech before it stopped moving.
Before Wald could ready another arrow the next beaver rushed out of the hole. The beaver hurried to climb the trench. However this time it managed to get over but there was a loud snap as it had triggered one of the traps set around it. Wald readied the next arrow as the next two beavers came out together rushing down the trench. Aiming for the one farther back he missed his shot and quickly readied to shoot again. The second shot landed into the beaver's neck making it fall quickly as the final beaver made it out of the trench though the opening. Chasing the beaver down he readied his arrow. Following the beaver he waited for a shot as it was searching for a way into the river to escape. The frozen river not giving it the escape it needed before it was shot in the back of the head.
After finishing the last beaver Wald went to gather the bodies that had piled. The fire the dam had become was very warming after the flash of energy Wald had just used. The last body that was to be taken was the one that got in the trap. He walked over and saw that the lower half of the body was in the trap with scratch marks in the snow where it tried to escape. Wald leaned in and began to open the trap, but as he did the beaver almost seemed to spring back to life and bit into Wald's forearm. With a scream in pain the trap slammed back down on the beaver as Wald reached for his knife with the other hand. Plunging down his knife into the neck of the beaver it finally released his other arm. He was bleeding badly from the bite. He ripped his sleeve off quickly to tie up his arm to stop the bleeding. Heavy breathing from the shock of the bite he tried to move his hand to shocking pain.
Wald went to place each of the beavers on the cart. This action was more difficult due to his injury since he could not lift with his arm. Wald hoped his new friend would be able to help him in Viden, but he had to make it there for the student to even help.

12th of Cylus arc 719, Evening
Taking it slowly though the woods being more careful Wald was on his way to Viden where he could get treatment. The bleeding had stopped fully as it scabbed over, though the pain was still there. There was no way to use his bow if he got in trouble so he made sure to keep watch over his surroundings. He could not afford to be caught by animal or man alike.
Each step taken put a shock into Wald's arm causing him pain. He did make it to the road soon enough this helped him a lot the smoother ground kept his feet from putting to much shock into him. While walking down the road he saw someone coming towards him. They had a bow on his back this was bad he had no way to defend himself or move his cart in time. He took his bow in his good hand as he used his bad hand to hold an arrow. The pain was intense as he drew closer to the person who didn't seem to have any hostile motives. This did not stop Wald from taking a defensive stance even if it was fake he needed to look like he could defend himself.
When the two passed each other Wald noticed it was a ranger and in turn the ranger noticed the wound. With an tone of worry the ranger asked, "Are you alright?"
Wald Gruffed out after putting his bow away hiding his pain, "I am fine go on your way." The Ranger did not enjoy the tone but he just let out a sigh and walked off.
Wald continued his way down the road it would be a some time before he would make it to Viden. Walking through the night Wald was happy that he rested so long the day before. Though it was cold it seemed like Wald was starting to catch a fever. Maybe he was just imagining things he should be fine.

Wald made his way though the night and morning to Viden. He was on the verge of collapsing right there. Before he could he needed to get something set up to sleep. Taking his tent tarp off the cart he tried to use his hand but the pain kept him from being able to. Gritting his teeth he laid the tarp on the ground and put what furs and material he had on top of it. He untied his animals so they could eat the last of the hay and take a drink. Laying down on the tarp he rolled up and passed out right there being sure he was on a guards path so he had some security.
