Appearance: Robin stands at five feet and seven inches tall with shoulder length, wavy blonde hair and a pale complexion. He has a fairly lean build and often prefers to wear different types of leather armor though he can be seen sporting metal when heading somewhere more dangerous.
Personality: Robin is trying to grow into one of the most gallant knights to ever walk Idalos. He holds himself to a high standard of honor and when he feels like he fails a test to that honor, he often takes it much harder than others. Robin is brave to a fault and he is one of the more reliable friends that a person could have. He will not go back on his word, no matter how complicated of a position it puts him in.
Relationship to PC: Robin was born in Rynmere and grew up with aspirations of knighthood. He was unfortunately one of many and despite being a squire to several noble men, he was never knighted before the knight he was squiring for was killed in either battle or some underhanded political attempt. Robin developed both a poor and positive reputation. On one hand he was an excellent squire and every knight he served would have sworn by him, on the other hand it seemed like he might have been cursed because those knights were never long for the grave. It became difficult to find work in Rynmere between the abundance of younger, brighter eyes squires and the reputation that he'd accrued. Inspired by the stories about the 'Heroes from Scalvoris' who'd been there when the Labyrinth collapsed, Robin moved to the islands. He met Balthazar Black shortly after and while the Element expressed disinterest in a squire, something about Robin's personality attracted Balthazar. While he refused Robin as a squire, the two have remained decent friends in the time since.'

Gambling (26/100)
Cryptography (26/100)
Woodworking (26/100)
Appearance: Lyanna stands at roughly five feet and six inches in height though her long legs often make her seem taller from a distance. She sports shoulder length, wavy red hair and has bright eyes-regardless of which color they are at the current moment. She wears dark colors at all times but rarely wears black because she thinks it is just too easy a choice.
Personality: A washout from a pirate crew due to a bad gambling habit and sticky fingers, Lyanna has the same spirit of adventure and exploration that most who seek to explore the seas of Scalvoris seem born with. However she also shares an almost born-in desire to make and take as many valuable things as she can get her hands on, which has gotten her into immaterial trouble in the past. She is a loyal ally but her impulse control and border-line kleptomania make her one to keep an eye on. She will never intentionally betray a friend's secrets, but that doesn't mean you should ignore your pockets around her.
Relationship to PC: Lyanna fortunately managed to avoid Balthazar's gaze when the mage was more dedicated to hunting pirates. Instead, she fell into Balthazar's personal circle, some time after being abandoned by the crew she was working with, when she attempted to rob the mage in the Scalvoris Market. He caught her and rather than turn her into the Elements he offered her a position among his company of 'mercenaries.' Faced with a choice between prison and employment, Lyanna chose to remain with the mage. Since then he has worked to subtly coach her towards a more honest line of work and she has tried to convince him it isn't worth the effort.
Name:
Croft Zy'Nacj
Race: Human
Date of Birth: 3 Ymiden 667
Skills: Logistics (26/100)
Business Management (26/100)
Investigation (26/100)
Combat: Blades (12/100)
Intelligence (10/100)
Appearance: Standing at roughly five feet and ten inches tall with almost completely grey hair, Croft has a relatively angular face. He has a sharp jaw and high cheekbones which are covered with a thin white beard. He is wrinkled but maintains a strong build from a life lived working.
Personality: Croft carries himself with a sort of aged wisdom that almost feels unearned given he hasn't been to many places other than Yaralon and Scalvoris. He
has many stories about many things, and can almost always seem to conjure a story relevant to the situation, which makes him hard to believe most of the time. He's washed up in that when he was younger he believed in being honorable and doing the best work to protect people, but these trials he is willing to sit by and watch while others either do or don't do the work instead. Dedicated, loyal, and disillusioned.
Relationship to PC: Croft is a former member of the Black Cats Mercenary Company who left shortly before the destruction of their headquarters in Almund. In his opinion, he had grown too old to keep swinging a sword with the younger men. However during his effort to rebuild the mercenary company, rather than begin his own from scratch, Balthazar sought out Croft for help. Initially Croft refused for the same reasons he left the company to begin with. He was old. Older than he'd been when he left the first time and far out of practice. The mage didn't take no for an answer easily though and after being convinced that he would be helping in a much less violent role, Croft agreed to help the mage rebuild the Black Cats. Since then he has begun trying to slowly shake off the rust that was left from arcs of inactivity and passivity.

(Formerly known as Morgan Lafeyette )

Bio: Isabella was born as Morgan Lafeyette and she spent the first twenty five arcs of her life with that name before circumstance forced her to shed her former identity. Morgan was a nice girl who's mother was an alchemist in Viden. She lived with her mother until she was fifteen when she set out on her own with the knowledge her mother had imparted. Morgan quickly found a mentor who taught her the more disciplined methods that her mother didn't know about. The mentor- who was growing into their older arcs- also initiated Morgan into Attunement to help her with her alchemical studies as well as to impart somewhat of a legacy... the mentor had an ego and unfulfilled dreams. When age took her mentor from her Morgan used the assets her mentor left behind to buy supplies and set up her own traveling alchemy shop. In the arcs that she traveled, Morgan fell in with a bad crowd. More often than not she was in the company of smugglers and eventually one of them took a liking to her. He thought they'd be together forever and so he initiated her into Rupture... then shortly after he was killed by city guards. Morgan kept to the road and one trial she met Balthazar. He was buying supplies for his master. Their relationship is explained below but once Morgan and Balthazar separated, she changed her name to Isabella and has continued her work as a smuggler and alchemist ever since. Isabella has done much work to get past her hunger to flay and done a good job of setting herself back on the right path socially.
Appearance: Image above.
Relationship: Balthazar was an efficient tool to Isabella in many ways before she actually developed feelings for him. As a Rupturer he was able to aid with the smuggling and as a friend he was always helpful for relieving tension. Yet as time went on Isabella grew jealous of Balthazar's master and one confrontation later she'd flayed the man. That drove Balthazar and her apart for what she thought would be forever. He burned down the building she was in. But when they reunited in Yaralon it seemed as if time had not tempered her old flame.
Name: Silas Para Bellum (True Name: Sintivaqada)
Race: Yludih
Date of Birth: 39 Ashan 690
Skills: Blades (Bastard Sword) (15/100)
Ranged (Shortbow) (30/100)
Strength (15/100)
Endurance (15/100)
Stealth (10/100)
Disguise (15/100)
Appearance: Slias's appearance is difficult. Most of the times Balthazar has seen him, Silas wore a face very similar to Balthazar's however he had dark eyes and dark hair. Silas seemed to have a preference towards dark colors.
Personality: Silas is a man of sheer will, focus, and dedication. When he sets his mind to completing a task there is nothing that can stop him from going through with it other than death... but he is also very well mannered and polite. Silas is a wonderful guest and a respectful one. He doesn't know the culture of many places but he is always willing to learn.
Relationship to PC: The rivalry between Silas and Balthazar has never been personal though it is beginning to feel personal to Balthazar. Silas is an assassin who has, quite simply, been hired to kill Balthazar. He has never succeeded in killing the mage, nor has the mage ever succeeded in killing him, but the two of them are beginning to think they're destined to do this dance forever. With every attempt, Silas grows more clever and Balthazar has to grow equally to repel the next. There is a sort of playfulness to their encounters. Both men seek to end the other but they share a level of respect as well. Balthazar admires Silas's ability to evade him and Silas admires Balthazar's mystical prowess... but one trial one of them will have to win.
Additional Info:
- He has also gone by the names Johnathon, Lucian, Albert, and Edward. There are likely more, but none that Balthazar knows of.
- He seems to only know how to adopt human appearances. (One appearance being a burly Lotharro and one being his more sleek human appearance)
Name: Nimue
Race: Ghost: Echo (Formerly Human)
Date of Birth: 21 Ashan 640
Skills:
Materialization (40/100)
x
Syphon (10/100)
Possession (10/100)
Blades (Dagger) (30/100)
Medicine (30/100)
Ranged (Crossbow) (10/100)
Singing (10/100)
Unarmed Combat (Brawling) (10/100)
Lock Picking (10/100)
Appearance: Because she has little memory of her own appearance, Nimue appears similar to the bearer of her anchor. When Balthazar came into possession of her dagger, Nimue adopted an appearance similar to his... but shorter because she remembered herself being smaller. She has white hair and golden eyes like the mage carrying her anchor.
Personality: Nimue was a Yari in life and she never really looked beyond the face value of things. She held most of the traditional values of Yaralon and in death many of those values linger on. However in death she has also become much more simple in nature. She thrives on battle and combat. She loves the thrill of a fight and syphoning those emotions related to it. So long as you live your life with a decent amount of rowdy behavior, Nimue can get along with you.
Relationship to PC: Balthazar came into possession of Nimue's anchor when an assassin wielding the blade attempted to kill him in the night. Balthazar bested the assassin and Nimue swore herself to Balthazar's service so long as Balthazar swore to protect her anchor. When her options were to be left with the dead body of an assassin or to go on with the clearly superior warrior, the decision was easy.
Additional Info: - Nimue's anchor is an average embersteel dagger.
- Nimue wants a living anchor but nobody has been able to keep her dagger for long enough for such a relationship to develop.
Death Remnant: Whistling Death - Nimue was killed when her broken flute was jammed through her neck. As an echo she has discovered that when she whistles she produces noises much like the flute she once owned and with practice (scaling with her materialization skill) she can whistle different notes. However ability to do something and the skill to make it sound nice are two entirely different things and Nimue has none of her living skill.
