The gentle sound of rushing water and the chorus of birds echoed in the lush trees. Rabu’s eyes were closed as he blissfully inhaled the misty air and let the soothing sounds wash over him. he sat on a woven blanket of vines and hemp in a clearing by the river. On his blanket there was a few balls of twine, vines and homespun wool which Rabu had collected in his travels. The tunawa softly exhaled and looked down upon his treasure trove of crafting supplies. He lifted one of the wool strands and wrapped it around his fingers a few times to preform the magic circle. With the process complete, he began weaving the cords through each other in a meticulous pattern. After a few rows the product took shape.
There was a head, a quite realistic one in fact that looked like a young handsome tall folk man. Although Rabu wouldn’t really call him “Tall” given that the head could rest comfortably in the tunawa’s palm. The hair was made of wool roving, the eyes were embroidered from colourful vines and stone buttons and the mouth was a hole in the weave with cute little stone teeth. Rabu hadn’t added these embellishments, they had simply made them selves as the yarn wove together as if done by tiny invisible hands.
Rabu went to work on the neck and shoulders and as he did arms burst out from ether side of his creation. Rabu was unfazed and continued his work, not even taking notice when the arm’s began to twitch with life. He moved on to the torso and began work on one of the legs, he stopped to include a round wooden bead as a joint for easy movement, then finished with a foot. An exact replica of the leg he had made sprang into sight, completing the body with no effort on Rabu’s part.
With the body done, rabu had to think of what his new little buddy should wear. A jacket perhaps, or maybe a robe? The tunawa couldn’t decide so he cleared his throat and asked.
“What kind of clothes do you wear little one?”

One of Rabu's Mortal Born abilities involves emean creatures called Dooglewogs doing pranks and causing misfortune for the Rabu. I roll a dice every time Rabu uses his other powers and whatever it lands on will happen in the thread he's in. If a Grader or Mod wishes to add a misfortune as a reward that would be wonderful but please be sure that it's only temporary and isn't too disruptive or disturbing (I'm mostly going with light and silly) look on my character sheet for examples.
Another dream, and another step into a stranger’s mind. Though Llyr found himself not taking a literal step. The moment he’d slid from the previous dream into the current, he already found himself bound. What strength of mind that placed his external force immediately without a moment's hesitation! It felt odd, the sensation of not being able to move - as if he’d been paralyzed. For a fleeting few trills, he almost panicked.
Then he remembered the lessons he'd learned in Emea and settled down. He calmed and looked around himself, gathered what information he could through sight, and looked upon a… creature. What an odd creature too, with bunny ears, and purple eyes, and hair of roots and odd skin of rainbow-like sheen to... was it bark? And rainbow petals too.
Llyr realized that he’d slipped into… or been made into… a yarn doll’s body. He couldn’t move because he wasn’t finished, that much seemed obvious by dream logic. Once his feet had been finished, he heard the question of clothing.
The biqaj paused, then answered in a voice that didn't sound like his own. It was much higher-pitched and lighter, and he squeaked for a moment before making do and continuning anyway, “I like most clothes as long as they properly fit.”
He smiled, with his stone teeth that were slightly crooked inward at the canines. The vines around his irises writhed and shimmered in different colors. The doll shifted, able to move now that he had a complete body, and lifted to stand on his own. He glanced down at his nude yarn self. Llyr brushed himself off, and a faint blush gathered on his yarn-formed cheeks.
“What do you think I should wear?” he inquired the dreamer in an uncertain tone.
Instead of giving Rabu an answer the Doll threw the question back at him. This probably shouldn’t have come as a surprise, after all Rabu was his creator. Who better than to help someone form their identity then the one that built them? The tunawa looked over the doll, with a bit lip and a discerning squint of his eyes.
“That is a difficult question for me…” Rabu replied while he tapped his chin in thought. “Though I think I can come up with something suitable.” He turned to his oversized craft bag that was sitting next to him and began to rummage through it. He pulled out rolls of exotic woven fabrics, light silks and all sorts of ribbons and buttons. With a snap of Rabu’s fingers, ghostly steam rose from the ground and wove them self into a team of misty hands. These hands plucked what they could from what Rabu’s offered and began their craft. In a mere moments three beautiful outfits were finished and presented to the tunawa for his approval.
Rabu inspected a long flowing robe first. His eyes taking particular interest in the way the silky fabric shifted in colour with the light, creating a symphony of colours to marvel at. The dazzling display compelled him to reach out and feel the fabric to understand its mysterious nature. As soon as a single digit of his twiggy fingers touched the fabric, ripples of light raffled along its surface. The effect was accompanied by a soft chiming sound that was an odd mix or calming and unnerving. Rabu smiled at the strange cloth in front of him as he declared it to be the robe of a mage.
The second outfit offered was a set of clothing fit for a explorer. A vest made of tough leather material with all manner of pockets and secret compartments to hold all sorts of small tickets. The pants were much the same, thick durable and covered in dangling clasps, pockets and buckles. Finishing off the look was a massive back pack that a man could carry his entire life in and a heavy set of boots so that he could travel nearly any terrain. Rabu nodded his head and declared this to be the threads of an Explorer.
The very last clothing was a suit of armour, intricately crafted and sturdy. What made this set unique was how it was some how made entirely of buttons and string. The buttons that made up the breast plate, pauldrons, and Tassets were all large metal buttons that bent to fill the role they were meant to fill. The other components were woven buttons that resembled chainmail. The Final touch was a large metal button that was likely meant to be the shield. Rabu proclaimed that this was the Armour of a protector.
“I’ll let you decide what you’d like to wear my friend and if these are not to your taste I can make something else.” Rabu smiled at his dolls.

One would think that being shaped out of yarn would feel quite unusual... but for Llyr, he didn't mind all that much. Of course, he would have liked to be clothed. Yarn or not, he still had some dignity!
More interesting to him was the rabbit ears on the dreamer. He wondered if those were real or dream-made. While he waited for some clothes, he awkwardly pulled at the strings on his little rounded hand. His vine-and-stone button eyes widened momentarily in a surreal manner when he saw Rabu snap his fingers. Misty hands appeared, and for a moment, Llyr worried about this. But then, he realized they were just working on the woven fabrics and silks... and he gazed at the three options of elaborate outfits.
What detail! Llyr smiled with his stone teeth. There was the robe, which had so many colors, he felt naturally drawn to it because of how it mimicked his own eyes in the waking world. The soft chiming noise only made him like it more and he glanced up at Rabu as it was declared The Robe of A Mage.
The next had an interesting vest full of pockets, and thick durable pants, with a backpack... The Threads of an Explorer, but Llyr did not feel as drawn to this outfit as the other.
The outfit after that was intricate armor, and Llyr did hesitate on this... he touched the various metal buttons that made up so many parts of it, and then the woven chainmail. The Armor of a Protector. Llyr hummed quietly. It seemed far more practical than the gorgeous robes... but then if it was practicality, the Explorer Threads were also. Though he supposed it depended on what he was to do as yarn-doll in the dreamworld.
"Something else?" asked Llyr at the generous offer. He padded about on his yarn feet while he admired the outfits, then started to put on the iridescent robes to try on. The dreamwalker smoothed it over his yarn body, glad to be covered again, then he started to put on the buttoned armor anyway. Maybe he could wear all three!
Llyr paused though, then looked up at the dream-tailor and asked, "What about t-the..." he tried to figure out a way to say it like the dreamer had proclaimed the current outfits. "...Suit of the Negotiator?"
Rabu watched intently as his creation looked over the different clothing on display. The doll man looked over each piece with a sceptical eye, not really finding an outfit that spoke to him. The Tunawa was sure his doll would fit into at least one of the roles the clothing was intended to fill but it was clear he had other aspirations.
“Of course, Of course.” Rabu replied with a pinched brow and the frantic gestures of someone doing their very best to hide their disappointment. “Whatever you desire, I will do my best to create. I just want my creation to be happy.” Rabu bowed and waited for the doll to share his desired garment.
“A Negotiator you say?” Rabu raised a brow in confusion before he quickly transitioned to scratching his chin as he pondered over the word. The Tunawa knew what a negotiator was of course but he didn’t have much real world knowledge of what a negotiator was supposed to wear. They were simply some one who uses their words to get their point across instead of using violence, they could pretty much wear anything. Though as the sap in his mind flowed, some concepts started to bubble to the surface. Negotiators can’t convince someone if they wore any old thing, they have to look presentable but also humble and relatable if they want to get their point across effectively.
“I know just the thing!” Rabu declared proudly and with another snap of his fingers his hands went to work. They wove a sophisticated coat woven of tiny bronze fibres with embroidery of words of all different languages and dialects across the collars and cuffs. A light shirt woven of soft spider webs and long pants made of the soft rainbows that come after a heavy rainfall.
“This is for you my Negotiator.” Rabu smiled as the hands flew over to the Doll with his freshly made vestment. “Go now and make the world a better place.” With that the dream ended abruptly and the two would wake up in their beds or where ever they happened to pass out that night.

Comments: I liked the way you set the scene in your first post, Rabu. There was something quite peaceful and serene about it. I didn’t expect Rabu’s creation to become alive though – and turn out to be Llyr. That was surprising – and amusing!
I don’t have much else to add as the thread was more or less abandoned – I appreciate that you wrote some sort of conclusion though!
