How do you get a new weapon?

I want a scythe for my scary necromancer. HOw can I get one?

Hi Amaterasu,

Every character starts off with 'money' in the form of Wealth Points (WP). It looks like you've got the Traveler's starting pack, that means you start with 46 WPs.

If you want to have a scythe for your character, you can look up the price in the Shoppe under the 'weapons' section (click to expand the spoilers). Then on your character sheet, you can deduct this amount, add the item to your inventory, and then you're free to use the scythe in roleplay.

Do I have to get moderator buyoff on the purchase?

Generally if you're purchasing something through the Shoppe, as long as it's well recorded in your Character Sheet, then you don't need any special approval from a moderator or reviewer.

If later, a reviewer sees you using an item that doesn't make sense for you to have (not within your Tier level) and that hasn't been purchased/recorded in your Character Sheet, then you might not get the review or things will have to get resolved in some manner.

But if you're not sure if you're doing it right, you can always message a staff member to double check.
