As they moved through the battlefield, Prae collected mercenaries from various dangerous situations, adding them to their growing group.
Once they met back up with the ranged team, she felt Prae take hold of her and issue his warning. Wrapping her arms around him quickly, the pair flew up into the air, soon enough landing on a nearby sloop. Instructions were quickly given and acknowledged. She had two bandits to deal with and as soon as the pair landed, the bandits quickly turned around, surprised by the appearance of an Ithecal and young woman magically appearing on their deck.
Taking a deep breath, she stepped back a bit to give herself room. They weren’t the most brilliant of bandits and instead of attacking her at once, they took it one at a time. Sighing softly at the sloppiness of the tactic, she watched as the first bandit bore down on her. Arching an eyebrow, she simply waited until he was in range before turning and slicing his upper thigh open with an upward strike followed quickly by a backhanded swipe to the face, causing him to topple back in surprise. She didn’t have time to stop and smack him on the head like the others with her sword hilt, instead opting to kick him with her boot, causing the same effect.
The other bandit seemed to be having second thoughts about his involvement in the whole affair, looking around for options. Elisabeth wasn’t giving him a choice though. Rushing him quickly, she decided to try something a bit different. This bandit was close to her own size, so she started her run with a strike across his torso to get him on the defensive. There was no hesitation as she pressed in swiftly, giving the bandit no time to think, hitting his right shoulder with the hilt of her sword to destabilize him and stepping in with her right foot hooked in between the man's legs, hooking and pulling the man's left leg out from under him. After that, it was just a matter of following up with a smack across the head to knock him unconscious. Grinning softly, she remembered the first time she had seen someone use that move, whispering “Thanks, Balthazar. Worked like a charm…”
Running back to Prae, she gave him a quick update. “Your back is clear, Prae!” Casting a look around, she wanted to keep it that way.
