I'd tentatively suggest running option 3 like the Population Purge. It effectively outsources the finding/identifying of the guides to any player with 5 minutes to spare, taking that task off you busy mods, and gives you a thread that has all the links in one place for easy referencing when you/Tech Guy come to make the list

Master Guide (For major participation)
Frequent Guide Finder (For moderate Participation)
Thataway (for the least participation)

The exact amount of participation to be decided later before we start, so it can be applied fairly.
