How successful, if at all, is Maxine in this task: Successful.
The following was learned:
-The Dorrick family wealth comes from their generational partnership with the Kimbers
-Tristane Dorrick is regarded as a war hero, is intelligent, may have hired someone to kill another politician, and his campaign is likely being funded by an unsavory lot
-Benjamin Dorricks is an idiot but he runs the business
-The Dorricks, especially Tristane, threaten the integrity of Etzori politics as well as the safety and interests of the people

Which NPCs are involved: The Stranger (Will be developed if used again), Killian (one time appearance), and Obe (one time appearance)

What impact on the involved NPCs: Little to none. The Stranger has been amused and intrigued by Maxine, but does not trust her.

How does this satisfy the domains of Chrien (Spite, Luck, Storms): (Spite) Maxine hates the concept of political corruption, assassination of "good" political actors, and all the mistrust and underestimation that comes with Famula's curse.

Looks to be good progress here, and a good read too. i like all the little references to recent events, and again the way you play the curse of Famula. I think next (if you'll forgive me stating the obvious), you'll want to have Maxine confirm and expand her knowledge base of the situation with the Dorricks, so she can figure out how best to undermine them. However, since these men don't trust Maxine, they aren't going to officially hire her (as established through your roleplay) and she's got no breadcrumbs to follow but her own instincts in how to get this done. PM me if you have any further questions and good luck with the next stages of the job.
