For more information on the Lightning Knights as a faction, check this link.

Use this thread to create Lightning Knight NPCs. This will allow consistency between players and will mean that you can have more skilled NPCs than the usual "faceless" ones being played consistently without needing to go through the full approval process.

As long as the NPC meets the requirements / restrictions below, you may play them immediately and don't need to wait for approval. It is perfectly ok for you to post them here after you finish your thread with them! If you use your skills against them, however, this submission MUST be linked in your review request to ensure that our Peer Reviewers can confirm.

Please note:
  • The Lightning Knights for the most part work in groups that vary in size based on the division they belong to and the work they are doing.
  • They are a well-trained and effective military force. They are not incompetent, please don't play them as such.
  • While there are those who are corrupt AND those who are incompetent - this is NOT what this place is for. If you wish to have a Lightning Knight NPC be corrupt, incompetent, look the other way, etc - then they must be submitted as a City NPC and this must be made very clear in the dev submission. This thread / these NPCs are for the ones that are doing their jobs.
  • Consider these "flavour" NPCs. They follow the same rules as flavour NPCs , but with more skills than usual flavour NPCs.
  • The same rules for story as Flavour NPCs apply. You can meet them, see them in passing, notice them in a bar, etc. If, however, an NPC becomes a significant part of your story, then they should be submitted as a personal NPC or a city one.
  • The "titles" (Beginners, Intermediate etc) are not ranks. They are examples of their experience levels.
  • Please use them in a way which makes story sense for their level of experience. An Advanced Veteran is not likely to be called out to get your cat out of a tree.

Re: Lightning Knights (Or Thunder Priesthood) NPC Roster

Name of NPC: Teeklos Grone
Race, Age, Gender: Human, 22, Male
Type: Novitiate Priest
Branch: Aspiring Monk
Skills:

Resistance: Expert
Strength: Competent
Detection: Competent
Endurance: Competent
Combat: Unarmed: Novice
Intelligence: Novice
Athletics: Novice

Brief Description of Personality: A young human, average height and build, with brown hair and a shy disposition. He enjoys drinking, and often needs just that bit of help breaking out of his shell. That said, he's rarely without his own personal hip flask full of whiskey. Coming from a wealthy farmer family outside of Rharne, he lacked for very little in the way of comforts growing up. Even so, working on a farm has built him up physically enough that he likes to show off with a brawl here or there. Since the Thunder Priesthood opened itself up to males, however, he was quick to leave his family's farm and aspire to the Priesthood. He was paired with Parlance, and they share space together in a vacant room that was available in the dormitory of the Lightning Cathedral.

Re: Lightning Knights (Or Thunder Priesthood) NPC Roster

Name of NPC: Sabria Belit
Race, Age, Gender: Human; 35; female
Type: High Priestess
Branch: Monk
Skills

Combat: Unarmed: Master
Strength: Expert
Investigation: Expert
Endurance: Expert
Teaching: Expert
Stealth: Competent
Discipline: Competent
Intimidation: Competent
Tactics: Competent
Resistance: Novice

Brief Description of Personality: A stoutly built woman with black hair and tan skin. Her eyes are black. She stands at an average height, and a third again as widely built. More muscular than most men, let alone women, she excells at the training and toughening up of new Priests and Lightning Knights in the arts of unarmed combat.

She brooks no foolishness during her lessons, and will not hesitate to show students what she can do to them if they step out of line during a traiing session. She's been known to interfere in a spar that has gone too far, or beyond the point of friendly training, to test the person dominating the others. A very hands on trainer.
