Details: A transplant from Nashaki running from the Tower of Flesh, Rala was offered amnesty in the Empire in exchange for military service. They are a quiet sort, rarely raising tempers or rocking the boat. A qi'ora in the Army who joined at the end of the Hotlands War, they hav faced a fair amount of suspicion in their young life already and rarely gives much away. They are of a slender and short build, and fall on the more studious side of combat mages; prefering to dedicate their time on researching how prevent combat injury rather than how to inflict it.

Details: Confident and cutthroat, the biqaj woman was built for command. She doesn't suffer much in terms of nonsense, willing to cut straight to the point of what needs to be done even if it ruffles a few feathers. She has a habit of forming snap judgments about those that she serves with, and allowing those instincts to guide her through every interaction with those people. While she is often right, those judgements can blind her to the potential of others and allow her to be more easily surprised when they act against her expectations.

Details: A spritely spitfire, Fennel is an Imperial Native hailing from Cahryst. She is the type to speak first and think later, often leaping headfirst into conversation or combat with equal amounts of abandon. A bit of a troublemaker, she has an unfortunate tendency to buck against command; a trait that has landed her many reprimands from the commanding officers who she's served under. Her maverick tendencies allow her to approach combat from a unique angle, and have won her many a mage-duel against more skilled opponents. Despite her rebellious nature, once she has claimed you as a friend Fennel is as loyal as they come.

Details: Broad-shouldered and built like an infantryman, Bàs fits little of the imagined perception of what either a mage or a necromancer looks like. The aukari is filled with life; compassionate to a fault and more than willing to listen to the plights of his fellow mages. While level-headed, he's more than willing to bend the rules if it means a bit of fun can be had. A bit of a charmer, he is a common crush among the young recruits in the Cahryst Garrison.
