The Lemon Messy

The Lemon Messy is built from the roof down out of the broken down hull of a large, old ship that ran aground in a storm on the coastline near Egilrun some years back. The hull was patched up with whatever resources they could find and turned upside-down and converted into an open-aired warehouse. With a little work and good deal of investment, an ex-captain named Tarnborg turned the warehouse into a mess hall, and thus the Lemon Messy was born.

Here, sailors, travelers, craftsmen, and residents of Egilrun alike can enjoy Tarnborg's special lemon ale and beer brews and sauce-drizzled dishes made from the citrus fruit of the place's namesake. Anyone that so much as mentions the word 'lime' gets thrown out of the establishment by Tarnborg himself.

Secret Recipe of Screaming Mer

There have been many copies but few have perfected the exact blend of liquor, salt, honey, and lemon juice that goes into the creation of the drink. It'd take an enterprising spy or brewer in order to uncover this secret.

The only rules that go with fighting in his establishment is that anyone who breaks a glass, plate, or tankard, gets their nose ground into the shattered remains.
