Hunter's Rescue: At first glance, this bow appears to be a simple thing, made with sturdy bow-wood and undecorated, the kind of bow any good hunter might have. However, it has one very special trick. With nothing but the flick of the wrist, the bow turns into a simple wooden bracelet that appears around the wrist of the wielder. Another flick is sufficient to change it back. The type of bow, and it is only ever a type of bow, changes to suit the wielder, and in Kura's hands it's a longbow.

Kura's Scribe Set: While this collection of ink, paper, and other scibely items may seem like nothing special at first, this is the set Kura used in her duties to The Eternal Empire. Though she can't perform those duties at present, she till caries this kit with to remind her of her home and the life she hopes to return to once her quest is finished.
Echo Scroll: Faith
A small piece of parchment which is a map of the surrounding area. It is always a map of the surrounding area, no matter where in the world she is as it changes with her.
A vial of purple liquid. It is a truth serum and has three doses in it. It lasts for 1 break.
An old treasure map. The X is just outside the Scalvoris village of Gunvorton.
Book of Riddles (Point Bank Item)
Small pirate coin: Whilst they are in proximity of another person with a coin like it (in the same room, line of sight etc), they are able to send one telepathic message. This is to all others with a coin in the vicinity and can be no more than ten words. It works once a trial. While holding the pirate coin above, she can make herself invisible to nearby spirits or souls for 1 break per trial.
Stinky Undead Chicken Feather: This makes an excellent quill and never seems to get blunt or smudge ink or anything. It remains a bit stinky, though.
A small knitted toy in the shape of a chicken. It is warm and comforting and helps her (or whoever has it) sleep.
Three small nuts. They are tasteless, but when one is eaten, and for a quarter break afterwards, Kura has a one level boost to her interrogation. So, if she's expert, she becomes master, etc. This is due to them giving a chemical boost to her mind, making her questioning sharper. There are three uses.
Kura has gained significant reputation with the Elements. This positively impacts her job and allows her to have more sway with the Militant. OOC this means that you have a one use "favour" to pull in with any one Council member on Scalvoris. This will be a small favour with most, but anything to do with the military and the favour can be a biggie. Requires prophet ok.
A very rare, unusual, tobacco plant which is a particularly nice aroma / taste and seems to just always replace any leaves she takes from it. Like, it grows leaves every trial. Weird. Just that one, cuttings from it don't have the same affect, but that one seems to have been touched by Immortals Tongue.
A beautiful set of glasses and decanter. There are six each of four different types of glass (wine, spirit etc). They are crafted from glass made with rainbow sand and so constantly shifts and change colour. They make for a very unique set, sure to be a hit at all those official dinners.
A small rock that glows with a gentle golden light.
A map of the Sweetwine woods that never ages or tarnishes
Ol'Tuck's Luck: A small coin that you can flip. Where it lands will have consequences. PM Pegasus when / if you're using it and I'll tell you what happens!
Treasure Map for somewhere on Scalvoris.
One small leaf that has a calming effect.
A beautiful bowl, gold with the symbols of Scalvoris in red and The Eternal Empire in black alternating along the rim. It is also almost unbreakable. I mean, if you drop a house or mallet on it, then it's going to break, but trial -to-trial, it doesn't lose shine / sheen, is always functional, easy to clean. It's lovely.
A small (8 inch square) piece of parchment.
Sweetwine Savvy. She is so used to the ways of the Sweetwine Woods that, unless she provokes them, starts it or damages their territory, the animals in Sweetwine will avoid conflict with her.
Mental Link. Tio and Kura were the random couple and then, in the next post, they interacted. This has formed a unique bond between them. Once a season - at a time of your choosing - Kura will have a sudden flash of where Tio is and what he's doing at that moment. It will be completely random as far as Kura is concerned and will often seem to be at the most inconvenient moment possible. Please agree between yourselves and maintain PM contact as this is a permanent thing. If, for some reason, Tio's player is not able to be contacted, please pm a Scalvoris mod and point them to this (it's in your PNs). Betrothed. Those who are part of this consipiracy might recognise Kura in the way that Fugazi did. The Diary of Faces: A book that can summon the face of any person the reader has ever met. The face appears on the right page of the book, while a small list of facts about that person that are relevant to the reader, and that the reader knows, appears on the other.
Ring of Pigmentation: A very simple ring, a normal iron band. However, turning it on the finger allows the wearer to change the color of their skin, hair, eyes, and clothes. A single turn is all that is needed, and the wearer simply needs to focus on the colors they want in their head. Taking the ring off returns the coloration of the wearer to normal. The wearer can only change colors three times a trial.
Family Blankets: 3 blankets made from the hides of prey animals. Whenever one of the Wolfsdottirs are sleeping in these blankets, no wild predator will bother their sleep or attack.
Snekvine Bag: This vine looks like a "ladies handbag" / purse - it always matches your outfit / fits in rather like a duplicity suit / dress. Inside it is enough space for a few small things, but it also will store 1 weapon of your choice and, in this, it functions like a Domain Bag.
Owl Necklace: A necklace with a symbol of an owl on it which feels warm if someone knowingly lies to Kura. This is not lying in her presence, but lying directly to her.
Magic Cups: A pair of cut-crystal glasses which always contain the drink you want. Cally will be able to interact with and experience the sensation of drinking when she uses one of them - they function independently, so may be different drinks in each one.

If Kura wishes, she can set somewhere specific (on Scalvoris) as "home" and the return will always be to there, instead.

Kura's Book: It is a book with a chapter by ten (PCs choice dependent on history) of the Immortals. Each chapter shares memories of Karem, and of Kura herself growing up. Images and illustrations are moving, like they are moments captured in time.

Health Pack! Two times a season, this small box will produce enough emergency rations for up to four people for one trial. This will appear in the form of nutrition bars and clean water. The rations can be split further but this will lower the effectiveness of the rations.
Saoire’s Sweets A small box of your favorite chocolates / candies (10 total). You find yourself unable to eat more than 1 on any trial. But each one provides the following to whoever eats it for the next 6 hours: "Saoire's domain of Gifts is not merely one of physical goods, but of the happiness and joy that comes with both giving and receiving a well-meant gift. Velduris Omega Wolf - Phelan: A large, charcoal black wolf with icy blue eyes. Dignified and calm, but young and prone to making erroneous judgements towards mortal races.
Inborn power Owl - Speck: A large spotted owl. Wise, but eccentric and easily distracted. Has been with Kura for longer than Kura can remember.
Sev'ryn Bunny Barghest Familiar - Rahmet: A large canine-looking familiar with clawed feet and a large mouth filled with very sharp teeth. It's covered in rabbit fur, has a pair of floppy rabbit ears, and a fluffy bunny tail. Wise, with a biting wit, but also kind of a dork.
Pet Treedle - Toddy: A small treedle that followed Kura out of Sweetwine woods and seems to like hanging about with her. Quiet, docile, and mellow, Kura nevertheless isn't quite sure how to interact with him, due to the fact that he's the only animal that pals around with her that doesn't talk in her head.

History: Alicia is one of the slaves freed following the Augustine Emancipation Act in 718. She had been a business slave, trained in secretarial work, though her owners occasionally found other duties for her. Following her emancipation, Alicia spent some time in Isonomia's care, before she set out to find a job with the skill she already had. She was fortunate, in her mind, to be hired by Councilor Mareth, a high ranking member of Isonomia and one of the Councilors who had been the most vocal in support of the Emancipation Act.
Personality: Alicia is shy and soft spoken, a leftover from her time as a slave, and has trouble saying no to people. Despite that, she is fairly efficient at her job and will stick to her tasks with a dogged earnestness that tends to impress the people around her. It his, however, noted that Alicia is very claustrophobic and gets tetchy around prisons and the like, should she ever have to visit one. She doesn't like to talk about herself much, and she's quick to change the subject any time the subject of her time as a slave comes up.

History: The daughter of one of the wealthier families of Scalvoris, Sonia came from a family that owned slaves, a fact of life that never sat well with her. Following the Augustine Emancipation Act, Sonia's parents were among the first to protest the decision, feeling it lessened their social status. Disgusted with her family, Sonia enlisted in the Elements and, following her training and assignment as an Earth Element, requested to be assigned as the bodyguard to one of the councilors who voted in favor the Emancipation Act. Given Councilor Mareth's tendency to get into trouble, Sonia's superiors decided that the Councilor of Foreign Affairs needed a bodyguard and assigned Sonia to the spot, much to her satisfaction.
Personality: Sonia is young, and like many young men and women, is stubborn, passionate, and prone to rash actions. She is also proud, and despite her dislike of the slave trade, still has a tendency to order people around and expect to be obeyed, though she is trying to improve. She also a tendency to be forget her manners when agitated and likes to solve problems in the most direct manner possible, usually with force when allowed. However, under all that pride and youth, Sonia has a kind heart and enlisted in the Elements to protect people, rather than for glory or to show off, as some people suspect.

History: As far as most people are aware, Pierce Jameson was fired from his previous job as a butler in Etzos and found himself on Scalvoris looking for a job, where he was picked up by Councilor Mareth to make her job more comfortable and help keep up her house. In truth, this is far from the truth. Pierce Jameson is every bit as Imperial by blood as his employer, though he was born and raised in Cahryst instead of Korlasir. He spent some time as an Imperial Agent, before "officially retiring with honor" after an accident in the field led to the death of another agent. In truth, the other agent had been a traitor that Pierce had smoked out and executed. For this service, he was promoted and assigned to work under cover for one of the politicians in the capital city, one Kura Wolfsdotter. Kura was aware of his true role, but he officially posed a servant in her offices. Now, he's shown up in Scalvoris to continue his duties as Kura's left hand, having once again "officially retired with honor".
Personality: Pierce is disarming. Most people consider him charming, polite, and well spoken, a gentle man who would no sooner harm a fly then he would serve his employer a poorly laid out supper, though a bit free with the ladies. However, the truth is far different. Underneath the mask, Pierce is much like his employer, utterly dedicated to keeping the people under his care safe, and capable of chilling ruthlessness and brutality. Blackmail, espionage, extortion, and even outright assassination are all things Pierce has done and is willing to do as Kura's agent in the darker side of politics.

Appearance: Cally is 5'8", with blonde hair and grey eyes. She's a bit on the skinny side and a bit more pale than she probably should be. She's got scars on her feet, hands, ribs, and right earlobe. She tends to wear boots that increase her height by about an inch.
Personality: Cally is, put simply, very sweet and very generous, but also hyperactive and talkative. She's also neither particularly well educated, despite Kura's best efforts, nor really all that bright, leading her to make some observations and suggestions that make perfect sense to her, but don't really add up to anyone else until she explains them, and sometimes not even then. She does have an earthy sort of common sense to her, akin to a farmer or a cook. The latter is fitting, because Cally really enjoys cooking and is far better at it than she might seem at a first glance. She is very devoted to Kura, after Kura rescued her from a terrible situation in life.
Relationship to PC: Cally was technically Kura's slave in life, though that was largely a technicality. After she died, she spent the next 30 years haunting Kura without the latters awareness until Faith made Kura aware of Cally. Afterwards, Cally continue to happily haunt Kura, and assist her when given a body, until 720, when Faith made her a Wisp, after which she became more active in keeping Kura out of trouble.

Abilities
Parliament of Owls: Upon activation, Kura is briefly surrounded by a black aura that spreads out in the shape of an owl before vanishing. The surrounding owls in the area are called to her and link with her mind, allowing them to give them instructions and learn from them. The ability lasts for two breaks, during which Kura's eyes turn to a bright gold. If used too frequently it leaves Kura fatigued and with a massive migraine. In addition of the primary ability, Kura is accompanied by an owl familiar, with which she can communicate.

Unshakable Tracker: Upon activation, the tracks of Kura's quarry glow a bright gold, allowing her to track them with ease for as long as the ability lasts. This also gives their scent trail a golden mist that makes that traceable as well. The ability lasts until negated, but sustained use leaves Kura weary and gives her bloodshot eyes. If used for an incredibly long time, longer than six breaks, her eyesight degrades until she negates the ability and rests for at least eight breaks.

Deadeye: An ability that only works with a bow, crossbow, or ballista, Deadeye allows Kura hit any target she can see, no matter the distance. However, the shot can still be blocked or avoided if the target is aware. Overuse of the ability, generally meaning over twenty uses in a single trial, will blur Kura's vision and leave her too weak to fire another shot.

Multi-Shot: Kura can focus on an arrow to have it splinter into multiple arrows once she fires it. The arrows spread out in a circular spread around the original arrow, and she has some control over whether they stay close or spread out once she fires the arrow. The longer she focuses on an arrow, the more it splits, creating up to ten additional arrows around the original, meaning she can fire up to eleven arrows at once. The more she arrows she creates, the more of a headache it gives her to use this power. Repeated use can cause her vision to blur for the next 24 breaks, causing "multiple vision" where she see's everything in two's or more. Her Fracturing scar manifests as a long scar on her left arm, running from her wrist to her shoulder. Repeated use of this power also causes this scar to ache badly. Also, using this power causes the original arrow to break into splinters once it hits a target, rendering it unrecoverable.

Shared Scar: While not really a power, this is a facet of Kura's Mortalborn-ness. Kura, Nir'wei and Ralgar literally gave their life force to bring about this end. You all share an identical fracture scar and have a sense of each other at all times. This is not telepathy or any such, but you know where the others are and whether they are in danger or not. If you focus on it, you can pinpoint direction and distance, but no more than that.

  • Pack Bond
    • The Favored is granted an omega wolf familiar, a constant companion. The wolf is significantly more intelligent than regular wolves and is somewhat bigger. In addition, this spirit can communicate not only with it's companion, but with other wolves of its pack. Karem can, at any time, contact any of the wolves her blessing grants, but they can only contact her if she chooses to listen. If the wolf is too heavily drained or badly injured it will revert to a spirit form until it is either rested or healed. The wolf can also choose to revert to spirit form at will, though they generally only do so in crowded cities and such. The blessed can still communicate with their wolf in spirit form. The wolf can tell when someone else has been blessed by Karem, and will always be able to find others who bear Velduris.
  • Sense of Prey
    • A skill that allows the blessed to tell where a prey animal may be found nearby, allowing the wielder to always be able to find food at need. They can also tell whether people around them have weak combat skills or are easily intimidated.
  • Predatorial Instincts
    • A skill that grants the favored the patience and calm needed to effectively hunt, as well as allowing one to tell when their prey, whether animal or human, has taken notice that they are being hunted.
  • Taste of Prey
    • When the marked has tasted blood or flesh of their intended target, this forms an immediate and lasting bond. While only one 'prey' can be designated at basic marked, each level thereafter increases the amount of prey a marked can have. Once a prey has been chosen, the marked will always be able to find them. Over sea, desert, forest, or even through the air the marked can track down their prey to any corner of Idalos. This manifests as a smell or taste on the air that inevitably leads the marked in the direction of their chosen prey. In return this ability can be shared with the wolves in ones pack.
  • Sense of Survival
    • The favored is able to tell what will help them survive in the wild, from what trees are safe to burn and what food is safe to eat and more. However, this effect does not work in more civilized land and it still falls upon the favored to be able to use what they find.
  • Regulate Temperature
    • Being too hot or too cold can both be fatal, and this skill allows the bearer a way to prevent that. By concentrating, they can restore their body temperature to it's natural level, whatever may be affecting it on the outside. This can allow the favored to survive anything from a wildfire to an arctic blizzard, at least as far as heat and cold are concerned. However, the hotter or colder the favored is, the more they have to concentrate.
  • Lupine Senses
    • This ability allows the bearer to share in their wolf companions senses for a time, no more than half a break. This lets them hear, see, and smell what their companion does in addition to what they themselves sense.
  • Alpha
    • Even the basic marked of Karem has authority over all canines in Idalos. They can sense the marked has been chosen by the master of the Hunt. A marked can issue simple commands to any canine that the canine will follow as though it had been issued by an alpha. Canines sent to track the mark will turn away from the scent fearfully and will not visit their wrath. A marked can pass safely among a wolf pack who even may be gracious enough to share their kill. They are not, however, so easily persuaded by the wolf companions that accompany the blessed.

      In addition, if the canine the Blessed is attempting to influence already has an "Alpha", such as if they are part of a pack or if they have a rider, master, or trainer, they will obey the orders of their "Alpha" over those of the Blessed. They will still defer to the Blessed and follow orders, but if the Blessed attempts to order them against their Alpha, or if the Alpha gives a contradicting order, the canine will follow their own Alpha. The Blessed can overcome this by defeating or driving off the canines existing Alpha.
  • Loyalty of the Pack
    • The adored is granted a second omega wolf familiar and a single beta wolf that will take charge of the small pack when the adored is otherwise occupied. The beta wolf is stronger, faster, bigger, and has keener senses. The bond to the pack grows stronger and lesser wolf familiars and wild lone wolves will answer the beta wolfs call in battle.
  • Soft Tread
    • The tread of the adored grows near to silent, allowing them to move all but silently through virtually any terrain, allowing them to go undetected by those they hunt.
  • Enhanced Senses
    • A skill that enhances the hearing, sight, and smell of the adored to the level of a typical wolf, though not quite to the level of their familiar. The adored gains sharper teeth and can eat raw meat without fear of being poisoned.
  • Form of the Wolf
    • The marked can seamlessly transition between human and spirit wolf form with only a break of concentration. There is no limit on how long the marked can remain in this form and some choose to remain this way for trials and even cycles at a time, hunting and building the pack relationship with their spirit wolves. The Marked is limited in this form insofar as they cannot dissipate themselves as the true spirit wolves, but do find their sense abilities heightened. They always take the form of a much larger, stronger wolf.
Krorros
  • Might of the Conqueror
    • A skill that is passive in nature, Might of the Conqueror provides the blessed with a small, but noticeable, boost to their strength and endurance, so that they might be able to more easily perform tasks they would otherwise struggle with.
  • Mortal Foe
    • The will of Raskalarn is one of the conqueror and equally strong individuals will stand in the way of such ambition. Mortal Foe allows the marked to identify a worthy opponent as their mortal foe, as someone who must be overcome at all costs. Once that foe is recognized, and only one may be active a time, a Marked will always be aware of when their mortal foe is near, or within the same city. They will always feel a tug toward that fated confrontation and when it occurs, fate intervenes in such a way as to separate the two for their duel. Once used, this ability cannot be again till Mortal Foe has been dismissed.
  • Never Unarmed
    • A conqueror and soldier must remain deadly in any situation. This ability allows a Favored to summon a single martial weapon to their hand. This weapon is one of Raskalarns and uniquely bound to the Krorros. It cannot be broken unless they are and will always retain its edge. If a weapon is not called for in the situation, this ability can also call forth a buckler for defense with similar properties. Only one can exist at any time and if the Krorros drops the weapon, it immediately vanishes.
  • Necessity and Generosity
    • Necessity and Generosity, as the name implies, can be triggered in two different ways. The first will allow the Blessed to draw energy from those loyal to them in order to replenish their own energy, though they cannot drain others to death or unconsciousness. The second is the inverse of the first, with the Blessed feeding their own energy to their followers, with the same fail-safe as the first method. This ability can be used at will.
  • Conqueror's Aid
    • Those Blessed by Raskalarn tend to be warriors above the skill of the average soldier, mercenary, or guard. Conqueror's Aid allows the Blessed to aid these lesser warriors. Conqueror's Aid is the only Krorros ability that relies on other people for activation. Those truly loyal to the Blessed can call on their aid as long as they are nearby, and the choose to answer that call, at which point they will appear instantly at the callers side.
  • Conqueror's Resolve
    • A passive skill, this ability grants the blessed an inherent resistance to mental or behavioral modifications, such as blessings, potions, or drugs that induce fear, madness, makes one more susceptible to manipulations, or otherwise affects their behavior. This resistance is based upon the discipline of the wielder, with the resistance applying to incoming effects one rank higher than the blessed's discipline or lower. That is to say, someone with Expert Discipline could resist a mental subjugation drug created by a Master Chemist.
  • War Mount
    • The Favored of Raskalarn is rewarded with a powerful spirit to serve as their mount. This spirit of Conquest often takes the form of a horse or appropriate land-mount for the Blessed. It can be called from intangibility when the Blessed requires and is a mount that never tires once mounted. It is perfectly trained to handle battlefields of any kind and will always return to the marked if separated. If destroyed, an entire Cycle must pass before a new mount will be given to the Blessed. This mount feeds on victory and conquest and a Blessed who does not feed the spirit will find that it is unable to manifest when required. While somewhat sentient, a spirit of Conquest is a stubborn thing, always seeking ways to test its power and that of its chosen lord.

  • Mentor's Boon
    • Saoire's Blessed are those who have served a term as a teacher at her school. As such, Saoire's Blessing reflects their skill as mentors to those around them. For any skill the Blessed has at least a Captsone in, those around the Blessed will find that they are better at those skills while in the presence of the Blessed, operating at one level above what it would normally be.
  • Turtle Shell
    • One of Saoire's most famous traits is her legendary defense, and her Blessed begin to share in that defense very early on. Saoire's Blessed can call upon this ability to create a barrier around themselves that repels all physical attacks, making the Blessed immune to mundane harm as long as the barrier stays up. This power can be used once every Break and lasts for a single Bit.
  • School Gateway
    • Any who have served a term as a teacher in Saoire's school are welcome back in her Dream at any time. While the normal gateways in and out of Saoire's Dream are only open at certain times, this power allows the Blessed to open a private gateway to Saoire's Dream at any time, from any location. When they wish to leave, this same gateway will return them to their starting point, though they may use the standard gateways to go elsewhere if they wish.
Xypha
  • Telepathic Communication (Minor)
    • As the Immortal of Communication, Yvithia is synonymous with spoken and written language. But those who truly wish to follow the Immortal find themselves with the ability to communicate with others with nothing more than their minds. With this ability, the Favored Xypha can send communications willingly with those within their range of vision, so long as the person's eyes can be seen. This ability can be used indefinitely as long as the two parties remain within visual range of each other. However, at this level, the Xypha cannot receive the thoughts back, only send his or her own.
  • Intuitive Linguist
    • With this ability, the Xypha can choose any one EASY language and rank up to Fluent for free. This language may be denoted with an [XY] in the list, and may exceed the language cap imposed by the character's Linguistics skill.

Five-Year Foresight: Over a century of experience has honed Kura's political instincts to a fine edge. Through this, she has gained the ability to predict the effects of any political decision she is a part of for up to five years in the future. With this, Kura calculates not only the most likely outcome, but all possible reasonable outcomes related to the decision, for a period of up to five years. These predictions aren't flawless, she can still be surprised by the most unreasonable and erratic reactions. That being said, her foresight is highly accurate and it makes her both very difficult to surprise and very difficult to out-argue.

Agenda Reader: Everyone comes to the political table with their own agenda. For most politicians, the best they can do is plan around that unknown information. Kura has learned how to read the actions, behaviors, words, tone, and even the emphasis of other politicians so that she may gleam their agendas. While she won't gleam someone's entire agenda from a single meeting, the more she talks to someone and the more they meet, and even the more she finds out about them through research, the more she can analyze what they do and say in order to discover their ideologies, beliefs, and cause. People who purposefully hide their agenda slow this analysis down, but only the truly skilled deceivers or those whose deceptions are magically or divinely boosted can completely outwit her analytical capabilities.
